  1. They had Mayo waiting in the wings for a while. There was no way they were passing him up for Vrabel. Now, Vrabel would make would make even less sense. They got rid of BB, but kept a lot of the Patriot Way intact. Makes no sense to me. I think if they move on from Mayo, they need to go in a different direction completely and build back up.
  2. Mayo to return unless the Pats do some Free Falling. Patriots schedule: Bills, Chargers, Bills. Cue Tom Petty.
  3. All I really want is the Bills to come out injury free and have a stress free Sunday where the Bills jump on a bad team and push the gas. Look like a Championship caliber team and pad Josh's MVP stats. Can't start slow and let even bad divisional opponents hang around. Boots on necks all day.
  4. If I had a vote it would be between O'Connell of Minnesota and Gannon of Arizona who is another guy I think has done a tremendous job.
  5. Raiders and Titans I could totally see. I would even throw the Giants in the mix. I don't see him taking a backup role with Washington. After what he's put on tape this year, he could just as easily price himself out of what teams think he's worth and end up on an NFL morning show like Matt Ryan by next year.
  6. You know, it's takes like this that normalize the idea that men aren't allowed to show emotions or have feelings. Just push the emotion down, "rub some dirt on it, man up and soldier on". Then that same brush will paint men as being cold and uncaring. We tend to forget that these are still by and large very young men that play this game. And these young men have a life and things that happen away from the game that may influence them. Seeing his best buddy have such a gruesome injury right in front of him and knowing how hard Dell worked to get back to football after last year has to feel devastating. Let the man feel his emotions. I get it, these are supposed to be modern day gladiators. Often athletes get dehumanized, almost like they are just AI generated characters that exist solely for football and our entertainment. Especially in football where players faces are covered by a face mask. Maybe it's the holiday season tugging at this old guy's heart, but can we allow people to process their own emotions, thoughts and feelings in their own way without trying to persecute them?
  7. Guys, I know this is a hot take...but I'm starting to think this Allen kid is pretty good at football.
  8. Would have been the perfect play call at the end of the Rams game right before calling the time out.
  9. Sign him for...what role? Coleman, Cooper and Shakir are all better. And Mack Hollins is the "dirty work" guy that has been surprisingly reliable with the hands. So that lands him as our what...#5 WR? Why would we sign a guy with the obvious mental issues he has to sit so far down the roster. Juice isn't worth the squeeze here in any way.
  10. Elway was always my closest comp. But I also see a lot of Steve McNair in his game. Especially the way both move in the pocket.
  11. Josh's have em out there running go patterns.
  12. All fun and games until the snap ricochets off Allen's ***** and gets recovered by the defense.
  13. Ray Davis is gonna have some numbers. I see us running a bit here and getting out to a good lead. Davis will be part of that as well as primary ball carrier in the 4th as we run the clock out. Defensively...Groot has himself a GAME.
  14. IceBowl Yes it's a schtick. He does the same act on many other teams forums too. Of course he refuses to admit it's him.
  15. I'm fairly certain I've seen that same hat at Wegmans
  16. The Genetic Freak From Firebaugh
  17. Wish the best for Barmore. He's one of the few players the Pats have Id poach if I could. Huge loss for their defense for the rest of the year
  18. Gonna need a big venue for the wedding night festivities.
  19. Man, Dion really does hate Jets
  20. Die hard fans, even the ones that will be unable to attend in person will still watch at home. And even if a small amount don't the viewership is larger than Buffalo. It's indeed world wide. More TVs will tune in to watch a better game or a game with a "must see TV" type player like Allen. So yes, you are correct, with ad dollars being determined by viewership it motivates them to entice more of the world to run into a better game. What you said actually works in my favor here. They're willing to tick off a few thousand to draw in an extra million viewers.
  21. In a stunning turn of events, Madden offices flooded from texts, emails and phone calls from agents and players around the NFL begging to have their rating lowered so they don't end up on the goddamn Jets. Probably.
  22. I get the sentiment, but what makes the NFL so financially successful are the Network and sponsor deals. That's where the majority of cash flow is at and that's who they appease by showing better games on those networks.
  23. This is gonna be one of those games where we make a team that has no business being close look way better than they are. Just feels like it. I still like the Bills to win, but it's not gonna be a laugher. I think Maye does well enough on the ground and in the air to keep them in it. And their defense isn't terrible. Pats-24 Bills-30
  24. I thought that was the whole point of getting in the scrum.
