The Bills have been multiple teams' "Superbowl"
BuffaloBillyG replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, fear the Jets? -
That was Jason Croom. I don't believe they are and item anymore. He is still in the league (somehow). with the Philedelphia Eagles. Unsure if Jeffrey Lurie has a daughter and if he is dating her.

Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score
BuffaloBillyG replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo 27 Patriots 13 Mac Jones will not finish this game. The Buffalo D is going to get too him. Pundits will use it to excuse the Patriots loss -
Well, last year they expanded the PS roster seemingly with that idea in mind. I agree. If a team hasn't filled it with some foresight and managed their roster accordingly (doesn't seem any team is keeping 1 QB in a "bubble" like many did last year) that's on them. The NFL makes a point to mention there is no eveidence that COVID has never been spread from team to team durning a game (which is extremely suspect).
-
Let em. If they feel strongly enough about their stance and are willing to walk away from an NFL paycheck...while I may nit agree with their stance I could at least respect them for their conviction. Many career fields all across America are moving to or have already mandated and people have had to make their choice. Why should the NFL be any different?

When the NFL announced before the season games would be cancelled due to outbreak (and players not paid) the NFLPA didn't throw a fuss and fight it. Sorry, but I don't feel sorry for them. I feel bad for the people that invested time and money to go to a game (many traveling from out of town) that gets moved to a day/time when they can't make it. Season ticket holders that invested their money but can't make a Tuesday game on short notice due to work/family commitments.

I have a feeling even if he's "out" he will find a way to (illegally) communicate on game day. The way this week is going though, would a Josh McDaniels vs. Leslie Frazier coaching matchup shock anyone?
-
Judon is of course the biggest threat. And while they do move him around a bit he primarily plays in the left side of the defense....against the right side of the opponents OL. Moving Brown back puts him right in the crosshairs again. Though, I would expect that where ever Brown lines up he will see Judon quite a bit.
-
It would. However some teams care less about public perception and more about winning. Patriots sure fall in that catagory. Dolphins were about to mortgage the farm for a QB that would have been a PR nightmare for a bit. Browns signed Kareem Hunt. Teams bank on fans having short term memories and moving on from 1 bad PR move to the next one. And thats pretty much what normally happens IMO.

Here's a random thought to process. As long as there are not long term or lingering effects when he clears...this may actually HELP the Bills in the long run. We all know Beasley is (like him or not) one tough SOB. We also have seen he hasn't been quite right physically this year. We know about the ribs, but there may (and likely are) be more knicks, bumps and injuries than we know. Him being forced to sit out and miss a game or 2 not only give him a chance to get right...but also gives Gabe Davis and possibly McKenzie some added snaps to get into a groove as well. It forces Daboll to work in some things that have been missing this year largely. (Jet sweeps, we actually saw a Wild Cat play last week). And while he is a fantastic player, his on field production is replacable for a short term. Let's see how it all impacts the season. But it the very least him having some time off to heal gives the Bills a boost in the playoffs should they get there.

Honestly would not shock me if it was something that wasn't enforced for player's family members.
-
Yes, there was. Ironically also during the weeks of a HUGE game (Kansas City).
-
He would play 35% of the snaps and gets 4 total pressures here.😂

I saw this and my mind registered it as Bashaud Breeland. Speaks is young (26) with decent size. Former Chief draft pick. Has served 1 suspension for substance abuse in 2019. Floated around practice squads of Raiders, Cowboys and Giants since.

So basically you are tap dancing around answering the question I asked. Couldn't care less about Hill, Adams, Kelce et all. But I can mention other players too. Earlier in the season the Cardinals lost Kylar for a couple games. They still won. Team sport. You don't have to have a 1:1 swap. Production can come from many areas. And even be a cumulative stat. It's ridiculous to think that any WR (even Diggs) is completely irreplaceable. Hey, remeber when we lost Tre? Defense seems to be skipping along. People step up. You are gonna lose it when he's a cap cut this offseason 😂
-
Amen Muppy! This isn't the Buffalo Beasleys. Davis, McKenzie....perhaps Stevenson all need to and have the ability to step up. We lost Tre and Dane Jackson has stepped up. Good teams find a way.
-
So, let me ask this. Honestly. If Cole has 10 catches for 70 yards that's a solid game from him right? If Davis (who has barely been seeing the field) steps in and gets 6 catches for 70 yards...is that not replacing production? Also understand that other players may see a spike in targets. Beasley is good at getting separation...no doubt. But he is not the "irreplaceable force" many make him out to be. We have seen him while playing injured disappear for entire games. Wheels keep going. It's nice when he's out there and an asset...absolutely. But his production is definitely replacable.

Just read all 11 pages. It was as level headed and fun as I expected it to be.
