  1. This. If there is a guy they feel is worth getting Beane isn't shy to move around.
  2. I believe Bo Scarbrough is on the Jags PS. I'd take a look at him if so.
  3. So many BBMB "Stevie Johnson" argument flashbacks right now....?
  4. Because off the field refs would be subject to only seeing what broadcasts choose to show. And having an official with the ability to review differnt camera angles would open the door to severly slow the game down with extremely late flags.
  5. I think they still go Chubb. Kid has been spectacular. Allen, while he looks like he's going to progress and become good is still a bit off. Keenum hasn't been terrible. Coaching not playing the offense to his and Lindsay's strength has been an issue there. I'm wondering if the Cards or Dolphins arent kicking themselves more that they didnt give up a bit more to get Allen. Or if the Phins regret not taking Lamar. Tbose should be good topics to bring up as well!
  6. They are trying to officiate the game the same way they always have. Issue is, players these days are bigger, faster and more action happens in a split second. First off, they should have better rules. Rules that don't rely on "judgement calls". Stop changing rules every off season and then pushing the new ones as "most important" and often least understood. There should be at MINIMUM 3 more zebras on the field. Reassign responsibilities of each guy on the field. This would help make up for the added speed of the game as opposed to how it was 30 years ago.
  7. I would be very happy if the Jets get either of those. McCarthy is a horrible play caller. Horrible. Cowher hasn't coached in a dozen years. I'd be willing to bet in today's NFL he would be out of place.
  8. If they get a QB that works out in the next draft then it was a good move. Barkley is a force and would help any QB that is brought in.
  9. I'm all in favor of letting him go, as long as he takes Chris Ivory with him. Coming off injury Ajayi may be had at less than market value. If so I take a swing at him. Tevin Coleman would be another guy to look at. Take a rookie in the draft and have a group that can do different things, kind of how New England has. The diversity of their backfield has been such an asset over the years. Hard to prepare for. And something Daboll should be well versed at having.
  10. They did. They couldn't get possession of the ball. Football is still a team game. This is why a defense still matters.
  11. One of the best attended as well. Last I heard there were at least 225k fans there and not one left before the comeback started.? I was 16, working my shift at McDonald's. Listened on the radio and when,my shift was over the comeback started. Instead of going home sat in the break room and listened.
  12. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Rosen Twas a Wrong Josh rib...
  13. Wouldn't shock me if he is kept until an upgrade is on the roster. Croom and Thomas have "potential". But until they sign a guy that can easily take over I feel like they will keep him.
  14. Yes. Part of the process is shutting down injured players after the playoffs are out and letting them get needed medical procedures so they are ready for next year.
  15. Depends. Its this a beat down topic or the most beat down topic ever?
  16. Which is why I'm sure Dallas would keep him around. They do have 2 young LBs as well. Believe it or not, teams actually put a priority on helping their own club rather than throwing bones to the Bills. Weird, right?
  17. Haven't seen anyone mention him...but It would be a mild shock to me if DiFilippo wasn't a frontrunner.
  18. In a perfect world McCoy would admit to himself that he's getting older and his ability to dance and cut back have declined a bit. Perhaps accept a reduced roll. I don't see his pride letting that happen. Add in being a bit older, injuries adding up and (this is an assumption on my part) the potential for his off field issues to resurface...I believe it's time to get younger at the position. I wouldn't mind letting Ivory go as well. Move into next season with a rookie and a guy like Tevin Coleman. I'd be good with that.
  19. The weirder moment when Mark Sanchez recovered a fumble with his butt....
