  1. Still, averaged 4.6 per carry at 107 years old last year. I'd take him over Ivory.
  2. I remember seeing a while back that he and De'Vante Parker were pretty tight. Good chanck Parker is done. Wouldn't be my first choice but he's a guy that, like Phillips wants to stick it to Miami and does not like Gase.
  3. I think the creative approach is what we saw at the end of last year. I believe we sign either Barr or Za'darious Smith. They play the LB spot and Zo slides to DE which slides Lawson to DT on passing downs. Lawson had some really nice success inside late last year.
  4. Yes, everything here is what has already been rumored. When Omar tries to have an original thought this is what comes out:
  5. If I'm making the call, I defer to McCoy. It's appearent that even if he has a little juke left, which is debatable, he's showing that he is prone to getting knicked up. At his age this is common. Twice he got knocked out of a game very early, was always on the injury report. If McCoy is open to a reduced role and sharing the backfield with young legs then I would keep him. Id use him in a Darren Sproles role. Not concearned with his pay because there is plenty of $ to go around. Let him "keep his coins". He's earned them. If his pride is in the way, if he's still obsessed with a chance at 12k yards I try and shop him. No takers, then release. He can't be the focal point of the offense anymore in my opinion.
  6. He's doing a great job at preserving himself as the best Bronco QB of all time.
  7. This is pretty much lockstep for what I would like to see free agent wise. My RB of choice is Elijah Holyfield. And I'm ok with Humphries as long as we get a speed WR in the draft high up.
  8. No. Seen this story too many times. Guy plays amazing, then a flag pops up, then a second. Next thing you know dude is full on Marvin Harrison.
  9. I do believe that playing the Patriots carries a certain aura espicilly in the post season. You see players that are solid have legitimate mental breakdowns...Dee Ford being a latest example.
  10. That was pretty funny. And I know it was just a standy but Brady WAS hit here. I believe that's a 15 yard penalty on Matt Damon, $25,000 in fines and a public stoning.
  11. Pats-27 Rams-17 Young coach and young team gets caught up in the nerves early while the experienced team rolls from the start. I expect NE up by 13-0 early before the Rams settle down and make it a game. Think the Pats attack in the run early, Brady plays mediocre until late.
  12. Start someone other than his incumbent starting Quarterback* week 1: Zac Taylor and Brian Flores. Tanny will be in Cincy. Dalton to Washington. Be a 'one and done' Head Coach: Kitchens. Good guy, just reeks of a McAdoo/Koettet hire. Make the playoffs his first year: Fangio. The defense can lead the way as long as Lindsey comes back healthy. Win NFL Coach of the Year at some point in his first 3 years: LaFluer. He's got Rodgers...hes got a shot. Win a Superbowl in the job to which he has just been hired: LaFluer. Same as above. Become Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills at some point in the future: Taylor. He's young. Lots of time,to make rounds.
  13. There wasn't 1 pass Josh Allen threw this season that was further off the mark than this take imo
  14. Homie, there's more to a draft than 1 round. You're over here talking "mocks"? Before FA? Completely worthless. Heck, they are even worthless the day before a draft. I'm aware Foster was an UDFA. And I know where McKenzie came from. Thanks for,the history lesson, but, both, produced when asked and both were identified and brought on by this staff. They can evualate talent.
  15. McD has literally stated the opposite of this on many occasions. This is also the same FO that identified players such as Foster, McKenzie and oh yea that fella by the name of Josh Allen. I also think this is a rather DEEP draft on offense. WR and TE have a ton of talent coming out specifically.
  16. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjUz826__DfAhVEheAKHd_sCV4QzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.silverandblackpride.com%2F2019%2F1%2F15%2F18184001%2Fcolts-fire-offensive-line-coach-who-mistreated-raiders-denzelle-good-after-death-of-his-brother&psig=AOvVaw2wSQ7O8CdON1CvfwixGuyb&ust=1547683230313203&cshid=1547596828429
  17. Frankly, I think Kitchens is a mistake. I understand why they did it. And really it's a case of them almost having to promote him...but my opinion is he was just a guy in the right place at the right time. No proof, but would it shock anyone if Todd Haley had sandbagged the Brown offense on purpose? May have figured he was a shoo in for interm coach when Hue was fired and then he just "fixes" the offense and poof interm label is removed.
  18. I think eventually someone will hire him. Only takes 1 owner to make the mistake. Let's see, loud disrespectful overrated players, ownership that has no clue, team that is based around it's defense...say hello to your 2020 head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  19. He would really help on 1st and 2nd downs. Could also be an option to free Zo up to rush the passer more, which frees Lawson up to kick inside more. Hoping Milano is good to go, but would be nice insurance policy fir that as well. At 36, he may be looking for a familiar system and coach to play for. Where else would he rather be?
  20. My 1 player I didn't want them to touch last season was Josh Allen. I'll sit this year out.?
  21. This couldn't be further from reality. Understand these are real human beings and a lot of things factor in, and it's different for each person. Some do want to be paid or a chance to win or even play in a place with nice facilities. When Mario Williams came here, he himself said a huge factor was the hunting in the region iirc. Players have existing relationships with coaches that may be positive or negative and may hurt or hinder. Same with players. Pretty sure we will never see Russ Wilson and Golden Tate on the same team again. If a player visits (and we do get a LOT of player visits) I'm certain a tour is included in the visit. They will see what is offered and weigh the descision for what best meets individual needs.
  22. I like Holyfield. I see in Baltimore how the power run game has helped Jackson as a runner. May help Allen as well. Biggest knock I have on him is he doesn't catch many balls, but team him up with McCoy, maybe look into Tevin Coleman and get a RB stable with diverse talents that can make it harder to game plan for...much like the Pats do.
