  1. Yes, they took a chance...after a wide search of people. They didn't just look up the hallway and say..."Well you've been here a while. Want the job?" And what has Dorsey been learning? Can you pin point how exactly he's progressed in his time here? What are his own philosophies when it comes to running an offense? What is it (other than close proximity) that directly tells you he is so well qualified for the job that they shouldn't even look in the event that Daboll leaves? That's all I'm suggesting. Look at the current staff, absolutely. But don't solely look at the staff. As we saw early in the season with the offensive line..."running it back" and continuity aren't always the best practice
  2. #14 is now Diggs. You have to dig for potatoes. You're on the right track...
  3. If done right...you don't limit your search to in house only. They are in the mix, for sure. However where you say having outsiders detracts...that's one possible outcome. Another is it could enhance with the right fit. Doug Whaley was "groomed" and given the GM job. Doesn't always work well. The best search is a thourough one....including Dorsey and Hall from on house. And if they win it...super.
  4. All I'm saying is that if Dorsey is the best for the job...fine. However, just handing him the reigns outright may be a disservice to the team. Find the best available candidate...even if it's not someone on the staff.
  5. I hope not. I hope if Daboll leaves I would hope the Bills take the time and effort to find the best available OC...not just a guy with no OC experience that happens to be here. This team is in the hunt for Super Bowls. Having a newbie OC cutting his teeth may be great for "continuity"...but it doesn't mean he's the best suited for the position.
  6. I'm watching Debbie Does Dallas to celebrate the Cowboys elimination.
  7. )SIGH( What's the sweet potatoe's favorite charity and how much are the increments to donate?
  8. Honestly, if he gets passed over this year I think his star will start to fade a bit. Hard to justify bringing in a guy that was passed over by someone that he worked for (Schoen) if the Giants go in another direction. If I'm the GM of another team I'd seriously have to ask "Why, what does Schoen know working firsthand with him that I don't?" Now, for this cycle if I'm the GM of a team that wants him...I'd would have to figure Schoen has an upper hand and if I don't move aggressively I would lose him. I would figure the Tuesday or Wednesday after the final Bills gameof the year (whenever that may be) he gets an offer or 2.
  9. Went to their board to see some fan reactions. Something else caught my eyes. Clicked on a "who do you support for this years playoffs" type thread. Baltimore fans OVERWHELMINGLY support our Bills. Most common reasons are that our fans deserve it, we are a classy bunch (not you Filthy B), and because of Josh Allen. https://forum.russellstreetreport.com/showthread.php?222982-Who-you-guys-pulling-for-in-the-playoffs/page4
  10. This would be a fantastic "get" for Daboll is he has to fill out a staff.
  11. Next year they will have a radio call in. 50th caller gets to coach the Texans next season. They will be at a loss when the phone stops after the 9th call.
  12. I want to see this happened because I actually like McCown. Seems like a really good dude. But an equal parts of me wants to see it happen just because I like to watch the world burn.
  13. Unmatched. That I can agree on. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/chiefs-superfan-x-factor-banned-arrowhead-stadium
  14. No Jackson Mahomes Tik Tok dance? What a gyp. No wonder why there are still over 3,000 tickets available on StubHub
  15. I wanna party with this version of McDermott
  16. Diggs. This game has been a year coming for him. Redemption. Forget the window dressing of him saying it's not a big deal. This is personal for him. He's motivated and this Captain is going to will the offense to move the ball. Defensively: This is a Poyer game. On pass defense, run defense (I actually expect KC to try and pound the ball a fair share) and rushing the passer...he's gonna be busy. Another guy that has something to prove. This is a huge stage against the 2 time defending AFC Champs. He needs to play even above his normal standards and show that he was, indeed, worth they money his wife said he was.
  17. Looked to me then and still looks like on that play Allen was given 2 sets of plays. He starts out in the shotgun. Reads where the Titans are lined up and sdes they are light in the line with some LBers...look to be playing the pass. Allen reads and adjusts to (is baited into) the run. Ball snapped and he slips, Dawkins is blown up and Allen plunges low to try and gain. May have had a better chance if he tried to stay high and let some of his teammates push and pull him along. Never know One thing for sure...that was not on coaching at that point. Allen though he had the right read and Dawk got out muscled. Simple as that.
  18. Well, I would expect the "Factory of Sadness" would be renamed the "Factory of 'De-feet'" for starters...
  19. I don't like him because he's just a geeksquad version of Jon Stewart.
