  1. If we can get a rush with 4 you do that as much as possible. Mix it up, sure. Throw in a few run blitzes (I'd use Klein for this). And just out physical them every snap.
  2. Some former Bills QB hot takes: -Brian Brohm never got a fair shake. -I'm convinces Nate Peterman and Jeff Tuel were the same guy. -Likewise AVP and Kelly Holcomb were the same guy. -Kevin Kolb was sabotaged -If we could have taken JP's arm, Trent Edwards brain and put them on EJ Manual we would have had a good QB. -Matt Barkley is a good dude. I hope to see him play the 4th quarter when we are far ahead Monday. -Tyrod was a great athlete. But an average QB. Can win with him, but rarely because of him. -Ryan Fitzpatrick is extremely overrated by many Bills fans. He was fun to watch, is a terrific guy and creates some excitement...but was never going to be "the guy".
  3. We send them Bobby Hart off the practice squad to host a talent show. They can keep him there and far away from the team.
  4. Leonard Smith had that Ed Oliver "crazy" intensity about him.
  5. Your just know there is someone sitting in that plane that knows nothing about football and is headed to Nashville for a bachelorette party or something that is HATING life right now😂😂
  6. Being that we are a legit SB contender I'm hoping Beane holds on to the depth we have. Guys like Ford, Phillips, Butler ect ate hot names for fans to want to move on from...but an injury or 2 late on the year and these guys are useful. While a g it like Cory Ford has shown he is replacement level at best in our offense...he is still way more helpful than a 6th round pick being stashed in the vault. I think this is the year that if any moves are made that we should be buyers.
  7. As a player, not well. Working at the stadium selling La Nova slices? Still not well.
  8. If the gossip and rumors are true from a few years back, so Is Poyer.
  9. These last 2 points go hand in hand for me. First off you have Sanders. The guy is electric. Offense should flow through him. Get him some runs and it sets up much more. Play action, screens, draws jet sweeps...general misdirection would work well for this offense. Second, Hurts isn't Mahomes or Dak or Allen. He should almost never throw 40 passes in a game. But even at this stage of his career he's someone you could win with. As you say kid is a gamer. Guys with his mental make up sometimes may take a while longer to get there but they will scratch their way to succeed. The mistake I believe they made with him is hiring a coach that has been pretty lukewarm to his development. Players like Hurts, Fields in Chicago and Lance in SF....they aren't plug and play options in typical offenses like Trevor Lawrence, Herbert...guys like that. Teams need to give them the Lamar Jackson treatment and suit the offense to what they do well and use that athletic ability while they work on the rest of their skills. I do like Hurts. I think he could be a decent player on the NFL. But for what the Eagles are trying to do he's a terrible fit. Honestly, the Eagles would be better off rolling with Minshew if they won't capitalize on the athleticism that Hurts brings to the table.
  10. And yet there are many times a team comes off a big win and plays flat. Your response has the tone of "They are pros so they will play like pros". If that's the case I could easily say that the Titans defense is a pro defense and these guys will be ready to show everyone in national TV they aren't as bad as people think. It's a big spot for them as well. Buckle your chin strap. It's gonna be an ugly game.
  11. I'm feeling a slight letdown game after last week's huge win. Titan games are always choppy and sloppy looking. They always seem to out physical the Bills for some reason. The Bills do have a fairly good track record of keeping Henry in check. However this may be Tennessee's Super Bowl so they will come out in force. I think the Bills hold them off in a hard hitting scrappy game. Difference in this game is week in and week out there is not one on the field that NEEDS to win like Josh Allen. He may be the most driven player on the NFL. Bills: 20 Titans: 16 Would love to see Moss do a Henry impression and take it to those lowlife Titans. Calling my shot here though: This is the Gabe Davis "get right" game.
  12. Sometimes it's obvious when people draft on need over talent. See EJ Manuel. They didn't even try and lie and say he was the to player. 😆😆
  13. I don't think it would have impacted the pick. If anything we may have passed on Boogie, but Beane is known for taking the name that sits on top of his board. Addison would likely have been cut free or traded if we still took Boogie IMO.
  14. AJ Klein. I expect the Bills to run a bit of 4-3 this week to hamper Henry. I also think Milano may be on a slight snap count with the bye week looming in an attempt to get him the week rest without aggravating the hammy. I see AJ with a sack and sever big time tackles for losses in this one.
  15. My 2 cents. The Chiefs have been chasing big name free agents for both sides of the ball. A couple have worked out but most have been iffy at best. This worked in the short term however this plan is never sustainable. In short, by not building for the long term they are closing the window on themselves. While they were doing that other teams were drafting well. Signing free agents that may not have been as big of a name...but were better fits scheme and personality wise. Buffalo, Cleveland, the Chargers have caught and passed them by. Sure, they have Mahomes and will be competitive. However they now also get to play Mahomes and try and rehaul a defense. This will take time. Meanwhile other teams have young talent on rookie deals and are pulling away. Mahomes is great. However you need more than a QB to compete. Ask the Packers.
  16. Oh I would too. But it the same time I could see KC's season just unraveling as well. If this is the week that DLine of WFT shows up it could be really close.
  17. I have to pull for Baltimore in this one. Agree with the idea that they really aren't a threat for the 1 seed and injuries will hold them back. Chargers have been a SOLID team for years that was held back in part to injuries and bad coaching. Seems to have been addressed. Obviously have to go for the Cards and (gag) Cowgals. Would love to see Jacksonville pound Miami. Now if only the WFT could upset the Chiefs as well. I think that could be a sneaky good game as WFT can move the ball on the KC defense. Gonna be a shootout.
  18. The NFL itself put OJ in the NFL 100 a couple years back and had his highlights in the Super Bowl pregame that honored the NFL100.
  19. And they still held Henry to under 60 yards rushing. Play that same game plan with the talent we have on the field now. Tanny won't have time to throw and when her does we have the guys to hang with their players now.
  20. Ah the classic defense of "Whatabout-itis". Often used to shield the fact the the person that used that defense agrees with the offender and is trying (weakly) to defend their own views. One of my pet peeves when topics like this come out as well. Never ceases to amaze me how many people willingly expose their own nature when topics like these come up.
  21. Exactly. Betting the name OJ Simpson isn't plastered on anything at the new stadium.
  22. Buccaneers remove Gruden from Ring of Honor. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nfl.com/_amp/buccaneers-removing-jon-gruden-from-team-s-ring-of-honor
  23. All 5 other guys had amazing days. Burrow to Chase is going to be fun too watch for years. Mills played well. Harris was as advertised. But let's go GROOOOOOT
