  1. Yea, I can't IMAGINE a scenario where keeping the kicker in the loop with strategy would be beneficial....oh wait...
  2. There's more than 1 flavor of Kool-Aid. Time to stop picking at people for the flavor they choose to consume.
  3. I don't. He's coming off a down year ended early by injury. Plus there are projected to be a ton of good WRs on the FA market. He may need to settle for a 1 or 2 year "prove it". Wouldn't shock me if he re-signed a short term deal in Jacksonville right before FA opens.
  4. John Ross ran a 4.22. Chark a 4.34 (And is 6'4"). All 4 are slightly faster than I am.
  5. There will be a few speed options if he's serious. Isabella likely would be the least expensive option. DJ Chark and John Ross are both options, however both would be a tad costly and have some injury concerns. I fully expect a true blazing WR to be brought in.
  6. That 4.78 second 40 was many moons ago. Think you could about time him with a sundial these days😂
  7. Arizona should just put this on their IG. No hashtags. No caption.
  8. Fitz looks like a modern day Merlin Olsen. No worries about his look for TV. I think the Bills have a dollar amount they are willing to spend on the backup QB position. Mitch got $2.5M last year. I don't think they go above that and most likely look to spend a little less there this year. That would likely rule out guys like Mariota, Fitz, Dalton and Taylor IMO.
  9. Nope. Nothing to do with any "curse". He's coming off a pretty significant injury. Not really sure he's going to be 100% ready. Plus if he is ready to roll and playing this year there are enough teams that would be able to offer him a chance to play (and pay him much more for that). I do look forward to him attending the AFC Championship game in Buffalo this year, however. I'll even buy the guy one of those overpriced Labatts. So, bring back Peterman?
  10. This is gonna be a fun thread😂😂😂
  11. I'm a big Singletary guy. I feel like when he's on the bell cow role he does very well. If the line improves he will be even better. For the sake of this post if we were pushed into needing a RB I would go no higher than a 6th and Moss. Giants could use him being familiar with Daboll's offense and a cheap rookie contract while they work out their cap issues. Would rather just sign Marlon Mack and have him back up Motor and mix in a rookie. I'm done with seeing Moss.
  12. In this case the biggest difference is that Allen getting $45M per season means his cap hit can be converted and much lower than that. If AR wants that $50M chances are guaranteed money won't be kicked as far down the road to lessen this season's cap hit. $45M/7 years vs $50M/1-2 years plays out much different. And on Rodgers case I wouldn't kick that can too far down the road...end up like the Saints real fast that way.
  13. I'd somewhat disagree on MVS. I see him more of a "high end" #3 guy. But agree, that he is QB dependant. A top QB gets him to that range for me. He does make a lot of catches most guys wouldn't. Excellent on the sidelines. Tonyan I could take or leave. Problem comes with having to create and then fill holes with no money.
  14. Won't know until he plays. Love playing is a win/win in my opinion. Either he shows well enough to carry the franchise...or you likely have a high pick in addition to whatever picks you get in return for a guy on the back 9 of his career. It's almost like Rodgers is setting the Pack up to be the bad guy either way. Be it "They weren't commited to pay me" or "They refused to build a team that could win". True, Rodgers is still playing extremely well, however it's tough to build a competitive team while giving him a huge increase and bringing Adams back (which they will have to do to keep Aaron happy). They will likely need to let guys like Tonyan and MVS go. Or, they can use this as a chance to stock up for the long haul. I absolutely know which way I would go.
  15. Maybe you should ask why I didn't ask why. I was pointing it out in jest, my dude. Relax.🤫
  16. And yet, here you are under the sports heading. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. ....he says on a professional sports message board.
  18. It actually should be an easy choice. You trade Rodgers. There will be a strong market, I believe...and you should get multiple 1sts as well as other assets back. Play Love. If he's terrible, you have an outrageous amount of draft capitol to draft his replacement the following year and set yourself up for a decade plus.
  19. Since 2012 (Tannehill's rookie year) Tannehill and Rodgers have the same amount of Super Bowl appearances. If the Packers pay Rodgers $50M a season that trend will continue. Back to back MVPs are great. However that's not the goal for front offices that want to stay employed long.
  20. NFL released all 5 teams that will "host" the NFL games in different countries. Buffalo does not play any of them on the road this year. I would guess they will be it the top of the list in 2023 to travel...possibly "hoating" as we would have the extra home game next season.
  21. Oh, I am aware of the argument. We have heard that same line time and again. When the defense plays poorly it's dropped at Edmunds feet. Every time. However, when the big plays happen in this defense be it a sack or turnover...no one wants to acknowledge that this is a 1/11 defense and the reason the play happened (for the most part) is by and large because everyone played their role. 12.7M for a 1 year hit isn't a huge deal. It's not like he's seeing $20M that top LBers would be getting. When the extension is approached if the Bills gave him $12M on a yearly average it's really not a bad deal and as the cap goes up it will be a better valie every year.
  22. By that train of thought we should get rid of Hyde and Poyer as well. Big Ed and Milano played that game too? Right? They must be trash. Let's trade them. Phillips started? Well let's hope the Bills don't bring him back. We should get 11 new starters. Or are you asserting that all 500 yards and 40 points were surrendered by Edmunds and Edmunds alone in some weird Daniel Sorenson-esq type performance?
  23. The latest from the Murray camp. I am a fan of players getting their pay. I'm not a fan of moves like this and negotiating in the press. Comes across to me as pretty classless. Murray and his agent care more about the "power move". Josh Allen cares more about winning Super Bowls.
