  1. Provide a link to your findings. Please. Right now, you are the one telling everyone your opinion is rain when it really has a yellow hue to it. So prove it. Provide some evidence.
  2. People are still thinking Watson ever sees an NFL field again? Amazing.
  3. Here's the thing though. He didn't stand up for squat. Not really any "honor" in continuing to collect millions of dollars in salary for 2 years and only mentioning the possible bribe when he's ousted. I mentioned this in another thread. Change 1 thing...let's say the Dolphins picked Herbert over Tua. There would be an excellent chance they don't start 1-7, they actually make it to the playoffs and Flores, instead of being fired is being looked at for an extension. Do you think ANY of this sees the light of day in that scenario? Or do you think he continues to show a personal lack of integrity, stay with Miami and continue collecting his money? Let's also take into consideration that Flores was a member of the NE Patriot organization since 2004. Was there during a good number of their scandals. Let's just say that possibly integrity, honor and morals may not be something that are in his playbook.
  4. Did he make a statement about it? Because he did take the time to interview for the job. That would suggest he did want it🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. In house candidate that will be grateful for the job and likely be agreeable to whatever coaching additions (McCown, Pep Hamilton) that the Texans brass want him to add. Wouldn't shock me if they called Frazier at some point and he laughed at them and hung up.
  6. If this is what the towel boy is coming home to every night...I'd be one fluffy towel, Downey comfort, handing out fella any day of the week...
  7. And who are you that he needs to prove it to? Have you been looking on line for photos of his father? Have you been digging around? How about this, rather than him needing to prove anything to you....how about you prove he's not what he says? It's attitudes like this one that try to define what diversity should look like that make having rules about diversity a necessity.
  8. Check out the way they SPEND that money. Year after year we hear about the Dolphins and their cap space. Everyone panics when they sign a tin of players. Then they overspend on players that don't pan out, sometimes releasing them after 1 season and take the dead cap. Nothing they have done with their cap money over the years has me the least bit worried they will actually improve their teams with it as long as they have a buffoon of a GM writing the checks.
  9. We were likely getting some new OL this offseason reguardless.
  10. You're not wrong in theory. However with what the Saints have on the roster and being far in salary cap jail...with zero in the QB room...the only way the win games this year is defense and run the ball IMO. They need a couple years to restock the offense. Also, would depend a lot on who he grabs as the OC. Wasn't that long ago Buffalo did a move like this. Hired Rex. Also interviewed Greg Roman and ended up with both. Eric Bieniemy is a New Orleans local...who may want to run and offense by himself....and whose contract expired (or will soon) in KC🤔🤔🤔 Granted not a great move on going all on on a defensive guy and a guy that hasn't run and offense in his own in the NFL...but not many options when you are about 80M in the red salary cap wise and no established QB on the team.
  11. Who's running the ball? Even if Kamara avoids playing for Mean Machine next year I'm thinking the league has him miss a few games lol
  12. I don't think he's a bad coach. But it feels like a rough situation. That far in salary cap jail and no QB on the roster is a rough mix.
  13. Seemed to be their choice from the get go. Will be interested to see how he does 2md time around.
  14. All jokes aside (and there are plenty to be made) this is a strong hire. Kromer is in extremely solid coach.
  15. That is correct. Also, the coach has to have been on the club losing him's staff for 2 seasons. Lovie was there 1 year. Even if another team hired Lovie Smith this year it would have resulted in zero comp picks for anyone.
  16. Kamara trying to get fast tracked for a trade to Kansas City.
  17. It's an interesting thought. I think the Watson saga set Culley up to fail more than anything else, though. McCown reportedly said last year that he wasn't ready yet to coach. Then this year tells the Texans he's "all in" and ready. Issue here for me is let's see how all in he is. I think Lovie was hired because he will work with the Texans FO. Right now the obviously play for them is to offer McCown a spot on the staff for experience. Wouldn't shock me if Lovie had to agree to it before getting the spot. Now, if McCown joins the focus isn't setting Lovie up to fail as much as it becomes Lovie prepping McCown to be his successor. If McCown turns down a spot on staff (if offered) it would make me seriously question if he's will in to put in the work that is required of a HC in the NFL if he won't even grind to gain qualifications that may be required.
  18. Ok. The 2 picks deal isn't to reward a team for hiring a minority candidate. One issue for minority candidates was that they were not being mentored, groomed and set up to succeed. A claim was that they were not given the same opportunities to become qualified for the next steps. The draft choices given were in part meant help motavate teams to increase the opportunity for minority coaches to succeed once named to HC position. Much like comp picks some teams rake it into consideration while others do not.
  19. And yet.... Had the Dolphins taken Herbert over Tua there's a chance that they sneak into that playoffs last year. Flores isn't fired. He's still collecting millions form someone that allegedly tried to bribe him to lose and there is no lawsuit.
  20. Not weird at all IMO. I think if he doesn't file that lawsuit, Flores is likely to be hired by the Texans. Had the NE connections, was brought in very early in the search. He at least stood a good shot. However, it would set a terrible standard and give off the appearence that all you had to do to land a HC gig was push a lawsuit and you would be appeased. Would open the door for many other disgruntled minority coaches to potentially attempt the same tactics.
  21. Either that or the Fisher Price Laptop he's using failed to connect to the WiFi.
  22. Beane had to pounce on getting him back quick before Buffalo East made their move.
  23. Kyler didn't delete anything. He's too short to reach the computer.
  24. It would be a mild shock if they moved on this season. As the OP states, we have nothing on roster that would replace him. If we look to draft it would likely be a talent dip/cohesiveness dip. Plus you lose his leadership. Same could be said for most on them FA market...only then you would be likely paying a bulky sum for a top FA anyway. Not a smart move for a team that can push to win it all next year.
  25. It's nothing. Some writer wrote an article to meet a deadline. Included Toney's name to get people talking. Admitted in the article it was an extreme long shot. Posted it upthread. It's all just "this time year" banter.
