  1. Man, every day it's something in today's NFL. An owner or coach being accused of some bad behavior. A player (or a few) being arrested. Getting harder and harder to support. If we didn't have Josh Allen and were finally a real contender I'm not sure I'd even watch anymore. Way too often NFL Network turns into the nightly news with stories of lawsuits and legal battles. Arrests. Scandal. COVID, Vaccination...It's Hard Copy now because of those that play in and run the NFL.
  2. A lot gets said about that, however this time last year they were about $100M over, still had money to field a competitive team that almost made the playoffs and still were able to sign guys when they had injuries. They are pretty experienced at it.
  3. I hope Josh is left off the list completely. He'll go completely scortched Earth next year.
  4. Those are some poverty ballots. Some fool really put Yannick Ngakoue on there. 😂
  5. If that isn't an ominous sign, I don't know what is.
  6. McDaniel's 1st call to Tua. For those that raised questions about interpersonal skills...
  7. Yup. They poached Mike Kafka from KC. IMO is a great hire. I had wanted him here if they weren't going with or had lost Dorsey.
  8. From what I have seen, that aspect is still in the air. However, if he makes it all go away from paying the 18 of 22 that are reported to be ready to settle...the stink will linger. If a team wants to make a move for him and invest what the Texans are reportedly asking it's a nightmare for the league and most importantly, it's sponsors. Right now the LAST thing the NFL needs is more national controversy.
  9. Provide a link to your findings. Please. Right now, you are the one telling everyone your opinion is rain when it really has a yellow hue to it. So prove it. Provide some evidence.
  10. People are still thinking Watson ever sees an NFL field again? Amazing.
  11. Here's the thing though. He didn't stand up for squat. Not really any "honor" in continuing to collect millions of dollars in salary for 2 years and only mentioning the possible bribe when he's ousted. I mentioned this in another thread. Change 1 thing...let's say the Dolphins picked Herbert over Tua. There would be an excellent chance they don't start 1-7, they actually make it to the playoffs and Flores, instead of being fired is being looked at for an extension. Do you think ANY of this sees the light of day in that scenario? Or do you think he continues to show a personal lack of integrity, stay with Miami and continue collecting his money? Let's also take into consideration that Flores was a member of the NE Patriot organization since 2004. Was there during a good number of their scandals. Let's just say that possibly integrity, honor and morals may not be something that are in his playbook.
  12. Did he make a statement about it? Because he did take the time to interview for the job. That would suggest he did want it🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. In house candidate that will be grateful for the job and likely be agreeable to whatever coaching additions (McCown, Pep Hamilton) that the Texans brass want him to add. Wouldn't shock me if they called Frazier at some point and he laughed at them and hung up.
  14. If this is what the towel boy is coming home to every night...I'd be one fluffy towel, Downey comfort, handing out fella any day of the week...
  15. And who are you that he needs to prove it to? Have you been looking on line for photos of his father? Have you been digging around? How about this, rather than him needing to prove anything to you....how about you prove he's not what he says? It's attitudes like this one that try to define what diversity should look like that make having rules about diversity a necessity.
  16. Check out the way they SPEND that money. Year after year we hear about the Dolphins and their cap space. Everyone panics when they sign a tin of players. Then they overspend on players that don't pan out, sometimes releasing them after 1 season and take the dead cap. Nothing they have done with their cap money over the years has me the least bit worried they will actually improve their teams with it as long as they have a buffoon of a GM writing the checks.
  17. We were likely getting some new OL this offseason reguardless.
  18. You're not wrong in theory. However with what the Saints have on the roster and being far in salary cap jail...with zero in the QB room...the only way the win games this year is defense and run the ball IMO. They need a couple years to restock the offense. Also, would depend a lot on who he grabs as the OC. Wasn't that long ago Buffalo did a move like this. Hired Rex. Also interviewed Greg Roman and ended up with both. Eric Bieniemy is a New Orleans local...who may want to run and offense by himself....and whose contract expired (or will soon) in KC🤔🤔🤔 Granted not a great move on going all on on a defensive guy and a guy that hasn't run and offense in his own in the NFL...but not many options when you are about 80M in the red salary cap wise and no established QB on the team.
  19. Who's running the ball? Even if Kamara avoids playing for Mean Machine next year I'm thinking the league has him miss a few games lol
  20. I don't think he's a bad coach. But it feels like a rough situation. That far in salary cap jail and no QB on the roster is a rough mix.
  21. Seemed to be their choice from the get go. Will be interested to see how he does 2md time around.
  22. All jokes aside (and there are plenty to be made) this is a strong hire. Kromer is in extremely solid coach.
  23. That is correct. Also, the coach has to have been on the club losing him's staff for 2 seasons. Lovie was there 1 year. Even if another team hired Lovie Smith this year it would have resulted in zero comp picks for anyone.
  24. Kamara trying to get fast tracked for a trade to Kansas City.
