  1. Won't know until he plays. Love playing is a win/win in my opinion. Either he shows well enough to carry the franchise...or you likely have a high pick in addition to whatever picks you get in return for a guy on the back 9 of his career. It's almost like Rodgers is setting the Pack up to be the bad guy either way. Be it "They weren't commited to pay me" or "They refused to build a team that could win". True, Rodgers is still playing extremely well, however it's tough to build a competitive team while giving him a huge increase and bringing Adams back (which they will have to do to keep Aaron happy). They will likely need to let guys like Tonyan and MVS go. Or, they can use this as a chance to stock up for the long haul. I absolutely know which way I would go.
  2. Maybe you should ask why I didn't ask why. I was pointing it out in jest, my dude. Relax.🤫
  3. And yet, here you are under the sports heading. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  4. ....he says on a professional sports message board.
  5. It actually should be an easy choice. You trade Rodgers. There will be a strong market, I believe...and you should get multiple 1sts as well as other assets back. Play Love. If he's terrible, you have an outrageous amount of draft capitol to draft his replacement the following year and set yourself up for a decade plus.
  6. Since 2012 (Tannehill's rookie year) Tannehill and Rodgers have the same amount of Super Bowl appearances. If the Packers pay Rodgers $50M a season that trend will continue. Back to back MVPs are great. However that's not the goal for front offices that want to stay employed long.
  7. NFL released all 5 teams that will "host" the NFL games in different countries. Buffalo does not play any of them on the road this year. I would guess they will be it the top of the list in 2023 to travel...possibly "hoating" as we would have the extra home game next season.
  8. Oh, I am aware of the argument. We have heard that same line time and again. When the defense plays poorly it's dropped at Edmunds feet. Every time. However, when the big plays happen in this defense be it a sack or turnover...no one wants to acknowledge that this is a 1/11 defense and the reason the play happened (for the most part) is by and large because everyone played their role. 12.7M for a 1 year hit isn't a huge deal. It's not like he's seeing $20M that top LBers would be getting. When the extension is approached if the Bills gave him $12M on a yearly average it's really not a bad deal and as the cap goes up it will be a better valie every year.
  9. By that train of thought we should get rid of Hyde and Poyer as well. Big Ed and Milano played that game too? Right? They must be trash. Let's trade them. Phillips started? Well let's hope the Bills don't bring him back. We should get 11 new starters. Or are you asserting that all 500 yards and 40 points were surrendered by Edmunds and Edmunds alone in some weird Daniel Sorenson-esq type performance?
  10. The latest from the Murray camp. I am a fan of players getting their pay. I'm not a fan of moves like this and negotiating in the press. Comes across to me as pretty classless. Murray and his agent care more about the "power move". Josh Allen cares more about winning Super Bowls.
  11. You know what? I absolutely would. It may dampen my hobby, but it's his life.
  12. LMAO. Waste it? He used his talent to secure enough money for he and his family to live a comfortable life and set himself up for a post football career. That is not a waste by any means. Now he can move on to his next venture and still likely be healthy enough to enjoy his life. These guys are more than just football players.
  13. All jokes aside, Lionel Richie is an amazing duel threat QB. First he stands in the pocket and says "Hello, is it me you're looking for?", next thing you know the guy's Dancing on the Ceiling. And when he's on prime time games, working the Night Shift...he makes it look so Easy the way he torches DBs All Night Long.
  14. It doesn't matter...until it does. Seattle lost Wilson for a bit and it became a lost season. Arizona lost Murray for a bit and McCoy did just enough to keep their playoff hopes going.
  15. This is the "fun" time of year where everyone is an option. There are going to be a LOT of salty people when QB room next year is Josh Allen->Matt Barkley->Late day 3 rookie draft picks.
  16. Basically, the only reason Darnold is mentioned is because he's Josh's buddy. So if that's the topic...I'd take Kyle Allen. Real life relationships do in fact matter, though. Otherwise Tanner Gentry wouldn't last this long on the practice squad😂😂
  17. If the "Commadors" don't tender Kyle Allen (I think they will, though) I'd rather bring him in then Darnold. Kyle Allen is also pretty good friends with Josh (and Christian Kirk, for those that want him).
  18. Can you link me somewhere that claims they were not credible? Not doubting it, just curious if this is fact or opinion stated as factual? As for they bolded part THAT is pure conjecture.
  19. The Bills retained, played and have now re-signed Dodson with a domestic violence on his rap sheet. Never say never.
  20. Honestly, dude hasn't been the same since the Legion of Boom days. There's really a reason they don't Let Russ Cook.
  21. We're still pretending Russ Wilson is a to 5 QB? Cool.
  22. When PFF says something good about a Bills player: "PFF are experts. This is now the gospel truth" When PFF grades a Bills player low: "PFF is trash. Less reliable then quoting Wiki for 'proof'. What a joke and they obviously have a grudge."
  23. One thing of note.. As the season progressed there was a definitive shift in snap count, particularly inside. Ed and Phillips were getting nearly double the snaps as Star and whomever else was active those games. The number jumped even further when you look when the snaps occurred (early vs. late with the game decided). Not sure if this represents a new philosophy or coaching realizing how drastic the drop in play when the 2nds were in.
  24. Fitz is coming off a pretty serious injury. The curse is so strong it even got HIM as the starting QB. Also, with the QB market being pretty dry and a lot of teams looking for upgrades he could be in line for a chance to start with some teams. Berrios is reportedly looking for $9M/season. That's a bit pricey. https://www.espn.com/blog/new-york-jets/post/_/id/88872/new-york-jets-mull-tough-free-agent-decisions-including-braxton-berrios I've been mentioning Corbett a bit and he even has some C flexibility. Would definitely like Mack. Ogbah and Ward both strike me as the typical Free Agents that are really good, but will be paid like they are great.
  25. He'll be starting for the Pack week 1. Aaron just had 1 too many White Claws last night and is a bit emotional right now.
