  1. Not sure. Let's be clear. When he came here, McD was exactly the kind of coach we needed. Steady. Soumd teacher. He just lacks the killer instinct and toughness he preaches.
  2. I have been one in the past! But it's really becoming clear it least to my eyes that HE lacks the toughness that he's constantly preaching. Little man syndrome at it's finest.
  3. At this point you have to wonder if McDermott is holding Allen back. 4th and 3 in a bit spot and McDermott basically says...nope don't trust you to make a play.
  4. Gotta say, love the heart shown by the team. Josh Allen was stellar in the 2nd half especially. I take a few things away from this game. One of the biggest is that McDermott is holding this team back. He constantly preaches toughness and coaches scared. He tells his team "I don't trust you to gain 3 yards" in a big spot and punts. Officiating and McDermott cost this team a great comeback win.
  5. Odd that McD talks about being tough and when the time comes for him to be tough and got for it he turns yellow ond punts. Hypocrite call.
  6. No, no pleasure. It stings to see it happen. There were MANY this last offseason raising concerns being told to shut it because we made the AFC Title game last year. Every concern I had has played out in the season. What it looks like to me is this was a team that way OVERACHIEVED last year and rested on that. Major roster overhaul is needed. There needs to be new voices in the room with coaching. No, I don't mean McD but thete needs to be changes.
  7. Keep running those playoff simulation things, boys. However the rest over the last 8 games tells me this in NOT a "Championship Caliber" team. This team is rapidly turning into the freaking Jets.
  8. Give her $100 and have her stop the run too. Something tells me ahe likely plays both ways anyhow.
  9. Brandon Beane's descision to run back the same OLine (that wasn't all that great list year as well) torpedoed the season before it even started. So far team looks flat and like they are going through the motions.
  10. Gee, it's just a long TD run. No need to be concerned. The defense does a great job. Couldn't POSSIBLY be an issue.....right?
  11. I like everything I see about our inactives list except that Boogie still can't crack the active roster.
  12. You are correct...but the only game the Bills make a statement in that's meaningful is winning against the Pats in Foxboro with the division in the balance. This Bucs game would be nice...but taking over the division is the only statement that changes the narrative.
  13. Agreed. I've said it before. As a QB the is bottom third in the NFL. But he may be the best Athlete in the game. Best Athlete I've seen in person since Bo Jackson perhaps. But a few lower lower bottom injuries and he's toast.
  14. Maybe I'm just getting old and cranky but I just don't get why people would go to the game and not actually watch the game. -Get up early in a Sunday -Ticket price/parking -Pregame alcohol -Food -Overpriced alcohol in games Dropping a few hundred to sit outside in the elements. Just stay home....make some chili. Have friends over.
  15. I mean, I'll try my best but my knees are shot, I'm 46 and didn't sleep well last night.
  16. Nah. I'm thinking Gruden will cook up some nice deep balls to Ruggs here. Some stout defense by Arnette and they are right back in this. Oh wait... Seriously though, we complain about our season being off the rails...
  17. Those were without a doubt the best sketches from that era. The only thing funnier will be watching the Saints and Jets try to play a game of football today😂😂😂
  18. Please watch the way you title threads. You don't want to attract a rogue Rex Ryan.
  19. McCarthy, Dan Campbell and Mike Vrabel on Jeopardy against each other. Who wins?
  20. Half the time they don't watch the game. People around me come about halfway through 1st quarter...head back out about midway through 2nd quarter for more beer and don't seem them again until late in the 4th or until the following game. To the younger crowd it seems the game day experiece is all about paying for overpriced beer instead of the actual game.
  21. At this point I'll be impressed if Daboll doesn't have nacho cheese in his beard the entire 2nd half.
  22. In my opinion this is about as close to a crossroads game as we have seen in years. While mathematically Buffalo is still ok with a loss the tone of the players and McDermott after last weeks loss feels (at least to me) like another loss this week and we start to see the wheels come off for this season. I would have to think that the defense is a little tired of losing games this year when they give up 14 points or 9 points. That shouldn't happen when you have Josh Allen at QB. Diggs at WR. A win here and maybe they pull together and claw their way to a division title. A loss here puts them 2 full games behind New England. I know the feeling amoung many fans will be "Same old Bills" and it's fair to wonder if a loss would have players thinking "here we got again". Don't get it twisted...this game is huge for the Bills both in the standings and for their psyche. Let's hope for the best! Go Bills!
