  1. I fully endorse the Dolphins trying to save face and have it blow up all next season especially if they start slow. Hill is the gift that keeps on giving.
  2. Not for nothing, but did you know Keon Coleman was rated one of the top PR guys in the nation last year? IIRC he was 4th. Hardy on the PS was rated higher. We'll be ok.
  3. Would they though? They basically needed 2 more wins to make it. After going out against us, the lost back to back games against the Seahawks in Seattle and the Titans who routed them. They beat the Pats and lost to the Colts. I might say with Tua they beat the Colts. Seattle in Seattle and the margin of victory for the Titans suggest even with Tua I think they drop those game. Then he came back and they drop the next 2 to us and Arizona. Then without Tua they go 1-1 to end the year against the Browns and Jets. Maybe they beat the Jets with Tua out there. But cold weather games aren't their jam either. Anyway, they may have made it. Maybe not if they had Tua for all 17. But I thinks it's certainly less than a slam dunk they do even with him. They just aren't a sound team.
  4. Exactly. The thread never goes away. If you notice I haven't commented but once or twice before that post on it. It's just always there. I was speaking more on it being unable to escape the chatter about it anywhere. Social media, weekly shows, heck even the broadcast of the game. Funny thing is even though I believe voting closes this week and it's a done deal...we will have to listen to it continue to be debated without the ability to change anything for another month
  5. I mean, yeah it very well may be. But if they already know who they want forcing two minority interviews in them isn't going to suddenly change that. Here's the thing. In their own minds even the Hamiltons and Leftwiches of the coaching ranks have to know what the interview is about. They have to know that deep down they have no chance. But yet they take the interview. There are minority coaches that will take any interview and that is what allows owners to get away with it. Years ago, James Lofton interviewed for almost every job to satisfy "Rooney Rule". Now sure, maybe someone takes an interview and blows them away ala Mike Tomlin, but it's not likely. If unqualified minority coaches would stop appeasing the owners it would prevent them from exploiting the loophole of the rule. And before anyone gets too far ahead of themselves as far as "Patriots Bad"....their HC search so far has resembled the Bills last 3 coordinator hiring practices. Job open-> Interview external minority candidate -> Interview 2nd external minority candidate -> Interview and hire who they already knew they wanted for the job (Dorsey, Babich, Brady)
  6. I said it in the Daboll discussion, but it is worth repeating. When you have to announce to the press that your GM and HC will be back next season....you need a new HC and GM.
  7. I agree with this entire response. Why change what's not broken if you don't have to. He will likely see a low snap counts and if he gets any targets the will likely be within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage.
  8. I'm eager for it to be announced just so I don't have to listen to it being discussed.
  9. Denver is in a really good spot. Playing with house money. No one expects them to win. They can play aggressive. Beware of fake punts and trick plays. They have a really good defense that can get after the QB. Should be a good matchup. Buffalo 23 Denver 16
  10. Jets are still looking to talk to literally everyone about their HC job. It's good to be thorough, but at this point their search seems rudderless.
  11. You're not wrong. I think the only worse fit for BB...is College ball. But the Raiders have a great pass rusher in Crosby and a very promising young TE in Bowers to start the build and chip away for a year or two on Shula's all time win record.
  12. Idk, something about Hoodie returning to the NFL and taking over the Raiders just seems....fitting https://www.nfl.com/news/bill-belichick-potential-nfl-return-raiders-tom-brady-multiple-teams
  13. The only issue I have here is Vrabel in New England. That may be a common sense move but if I've learned anything through the years it's that when something seems so slam dunk, everyone thinks it's going to happen...it rarely comes to fruition. It makes perfect sense and reading the way the search is going...it all points to Vrabel being the guy they want. I think Vrabel slips away. Be it Chicago or possibly joining up with Brady in Vegas...I can see things going sideways. The New England job is a sneaky spot for Ben Johnson to finally land IMO. After Johnson, Joe Brady just may be the biggest "get" on the offensive side of the coaching ranks. Not only for what the Bills put up points wise, but this time last year Josh was considered a "turnover machine" and this year...not so much at all. I'm almost sure he lands a gig, if not with the Saints, but maybe the Jags pull him in to tweak Duval Barbie.
  14. There's 16 teams per conference. Just let everyone qualify, seed them and play it out. /S NFL would love it due to the extra revenue. Players Union would likely strike
  15. Perplexing to me. They kept the guy (which I thought was the wrong move), gave him nothing at QB, traded away their best offensive weapon....then fired him. This isn't a serious organization. And they really aren't likely to attract a great coach with their QB situation.
  16. Bills 23 Broncos 16 We get 3 TDs (Cook and Allen Running and Hollins catches one) with a FG and missed XP.
  17. If you are solely talking tickets, you are correct. People want to move the tickets When booking travel for an event like the Super Bowl, a WrestleMania, ect. the closer to the event (months out be weeks out) and the more scarce things like lodging becomes the more the price is raised to take advantage of last minute travelers desperation.
  18. The thing not a lot of people recall is that before his stint with that Panthers, Joe Brady had been interviewing for HC jobs since way back in 2021. In addition, he interviewed for the Falcons job last year. He is extremely well though of in league circles and has vastly rebuilt his image since his time under Matt Rhule with the Panthers. Saints and Jets this cycle have already requested interviews and I expect one or two more to come down before hiring starts. In a rather boring HC cycle, he has the youth, energy and offense mind owners can get dazzled by. And it only takes one offer If I'm betting I believe he will get an offer this cycle.
  19. I agree. The kid does have some talent. But I really don't think he has the maturity to lead an NFL football team. I expect him to flame out rather quickly when he doesn't have Daddy Prime catering to what's best for him. I don't think he will be particularly coachable. And God forbid he ends up in a party place like Vegas or one where the media will turn on him quickly like Ny/NJ.
  20. And they already interviewed Ron Rivera
  21. Right now the Jets have an extremely wide net cast. They are basically requesting to speak to everyone including Brian Griese and Josh McCown. One the one hand whoever is hired their fans have to be satisfied that an in depth search attempt was made. On the other hand, the net is cast so vastly and wide at least to me it seems like there is no real plan in place and they are hoping to stumble onto someone by accident.
  22. Started slow this year but I feel like he really played some of his best football lately in the season. He's been a beast. The thing I like most about him is even after he beats his guy, he's still looking for work. Looking to hit someone else.
  23. Don't be so sure. Last year everyone counted openings and said one was definitely Belichick, one was Johnson and one was Vrabel. Johnson pulled his name and those with openings passed on Billy and Vrabel. Hiring season can be cooky and a guy like Brady can pick up steam fairly quick.
  24. Hamlin. And it's really not even close IMO. Let Bishop have the off-season and come back to camp ready to start next year
  25. As of right now I'm seeing the Giants have $57M in cap space for next year. Would make it difficult to go after both Darnold and Higgins. Not impossible, of course. But difficult with the holes they already have to fill.
