Some people are about to get way too comfortable on a public message board.
-
It looks that way for now. However I expected a vet like Sherfield to look the part early. Once the pads stay on and it's more live action reps I expect him to slide just a tad.

This is fairly significant. In the last few years Buffalo has had more success with the "pin and pull" than when they have tried to move away from it. This is where Morse shines as well. Going back to this concept more would be a pretty good step. Also, shows Dorsey/Kromer are willing to evolve a bit.

CB depth is never a bad thing. At some point in my opinion Jackson, Benford and Elam will all make starts. Some due to injury and some due to matchup.

Elam getting his chance today. As is Spector. Torrence still 1st RG up. All good things.

CB Move: Bills waive Dantzler, Sign Brown
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looks to be given #32. Fitting as he's likely to be cut. -

Sean Payton on Broncos 2022 Season - Wow
BuffaloBillyG replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope Payton is correct. I also hope to see the Broncos crash and burn as well. I've always thought of him as the most overrated coach of modern times. Yes, he has a Super Bowl (oddly enough the only SB was in the Katrina aftermath🤔). Didn't take the Saints back. Bounty Gate. Had a hand in the Saints overspending for years then as soon as it looked like they were in for a few rough years...he bails and lines his pockets with a network job (of which I didn't think he was half bad at) and jumps right back into coaching somewhere else. Had to protect his career W/L record. I will give credit to McVay. He pretty much did the same with the Rams by mortgaging their future for a SB...but at least he's seemingly seeing it through. -
I was certain this was an EJ Manual post. Seriously have a good time.

Excellent observations. The NFL is a matchup league. There will be times this year that having a guy like Elam will be beneficial. We have 2 games against Tyreek and Waddle and 2 games against Garrett Wilson. Allows the Bills to press a guy like Hill or Waddle and take them off their route, which was proven to be an Achilles heel to the Dolphin offense at times last year. Elam may win a starting spot or he may not...but I think he'll provide some plays when needed.

Is the AFC East being overhyped this year?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean Payton thinks the Jets are over hyped FWIW🤣🤣 Respect for Payton📈📈📈 -
Running fast may not be his style...but he can lock on and drive the opportunity 20 yards downfield.

I hear these posters are as popular in South Beach as the old Kelly's Heroes poster was in these parts back in the day.

Bills social media team remains undefeated 😂😂

I realize it's just day 2 and they are likely getting looks at guys in different situations, however Torrence will see his opportunity to take the job IMO. It's up to him to make it so the staff can't justify him coming off the field. Don't know if he can or will but I definitely am not counting him out. He brings something to the line no other OL does.

For me it boils down to this. The Bills entered into a contract with Hines to perform a job. Hines can no longer fulfill his side of the contract due to something that happened away from the team and not involving football activities. The Bills now need to find a new player to fill that spot because Hines can't fulfill his obligation. If there is verbiage in the contract to recoup money, you do it. That's just the business side of life. That said, I like Hines. Seems like a solid dude. Hope he recovers and goes on to play well in the future. Hopefully he has insurance and is able to recover any financial losses he incurres due to breeching his contract.

No, and furthermore it's a strong indicator of where Breece Hall is physically despite what they have been saying publicly.

I don't mind Eagle, but agree Harlan is better. I don't think Lofton is terrible. I have heard him do some games and he's ok. I do find that when he does Bills games he almost works too hard to show he's being impartial and almost comes across Anti-Bills at times. I suppose that's the main issue I have with him.
