  1. As some have said, the favorite for AFCCG have to be Baltimore and for the Super Bowl the 49ers. But it only takes 1 bad week and there are questions about almost every team that's playoff bound (or will be) Baltimore: can Lamar finish a season and if he does will he finally show up big in the playoffs? San Francisco: Will CMC actually make it a full season and playoffs without injury? Without him that offense could sputter. Dallas: Can they win several road playoff games? Miami: Can they win against good teams? Philadelphia: Seem to be falling off Jacksonville and Detroit look tough, but again what happens when they play better quality opponents? Meanwhile KC and Buffalo and teams like Cincy and Cleveland are lurking. What teams suffer injury between now and the Wild Card round? This year is more wide open in both conferences than I can remember it ever being.
  2. Hate playing teams that are in the Chargers situation. Lost season, lost their QB. Head coach fired. They seemingly have nothing to play for... except contract bonus money. This team just got way more dangerous because Staley is gone. And even Jeff freaking Saturday won his first game as IHC. Buffalo coming off a week of being, once again media darlings. Long trip out west and a looming divisional rematch next week. These are traditionally the types of games that they come in flat to start the game. This is going to be a test for McDermott and the Bills on a LOT of levels. I'm optimistic that the intensity we have seen the last few games is real and here to stay. I think the Bills find a way to win this one, but it's not going to be the laugher some might think. Bills-27 Chargers- 23
  3. Cook couldn't have caught the flu from any Cowboys. They never got close enough to breathe on him.
  4. Buy: Rasul Douglas. Since his big game where he SHOULD have won DPoW, he's been quiet. Too quiet. Now, I know that's a good thing for a CB because he's not getting beat...but the guy is a known ball hawk. I'm seeing him force a turnover or 2 this week and raise his value immensely. Sell: Dodson. He's been playing extremely well this year. Way above what most thought he would. But he does struggle in the pass game and the Chargers have one of the best pass catching threats out of the backfield in the NFL. He could crash this week. Hold: Joe Brady. I have invested in him enough and am absolutely loving what I see. Things such as a high percentage of motion presnap, to pounding the rock when a team challenged him. He calls a good game. I'm curious to see what adjustments teams will make to his style and how he will overcome those adjustments.
  5. I thought this year was the year Sean McDermott would grow a full head of hair. There's always next year.
  6. So, it's not so much of the QBs as based on team colors is what I'm getting.
  7. I agree, however this season has been a humbling one at times. With losses to Zach Wilson and Mac Jones on the books this year, I cannot take Easton Stick lightly no matter how ridiculous his name is. There's a lot of talent on that team.
  8. Yes and no. For comparison, he had 204 PR yards. Harty, who a lot of people here say is subpar has 198. However Harty is averaging a full yard more per return. Also, that's cool he found a small role on special teams...but the guy went from starter on a top level team to primary PR. Huge career downgrade IMO.
  9. This week is a bigger test then most choose to see. Yes the Chargers are reeling with a fill in HC, fill in QB and nothing to really play for at this point. But sometimes these teams can present a challenge. Last week, the Cowboys came in red hot, media darlings playing on the road against a team with a lesser record. Sounds.... familiar? and were humbled. I want to see Buffalo come out and keep that intense style of play against a team they are expected to beat. I believe They will, of course and end up winning comfortably. But they need to stay locked in and come out prepared are ready
  10. Dude has had a rough season. 1. 1st day of FA tweets out "C'Mon Beane do something" 2. Beane signs his replacement first thing. 3. Gets released. Says he's looking for an opportunity. 4. Signs with Colts 5. Gets beat out for starting slot spot by Downs. 6. Now, Suspended by team.
  11. JMO but Peacock is actually one of the better streaming services out there. I've had it for years and it has TONS of great content.
  12. I would be tempted (if he's cleared) to have him back for the NE game. Limited snaps, of course. But just something to help get his game legs back under him before the Miami game.
  13. Right show. Wrong couple. Jim and Pam were atrocious. Eric Foreman from That 70s Show Andrea from Walking Dead Every single character on Glee Rafael Barba Law and Order SVU
  14. I put it in the same category as Mahomes and his point down field that draws a phantom holding or DPI call. If they're willing to give it to you, you take it.
  15. With Beane looking into adding a DT it doesn't look like Phillips will be back soon. I believe when we signed Linval Joseph, those in the know had us having Suh and I think it was Ioannidis both in as well at that time. Wouldn't shock me if one of those guys is added this week.
  16. Mmm...don't be so sure. Duval Barbie was already playing gimpy and is now in the concussion protocol. Meanwhile, Mayfield was laser sharp against a Packer defense that has been hot..and in Green Bay. Game is in Tampa. I smell a Buccaneer Win here.
  17. I think coming from a small college like Bethel had more to do with it. Footnote for those that didn't see it at the link...big man is the Head Coach there now and doing really well. Good on him.
  18. He's so huge the Tuohy family is trying to adopt him
  19. He would know a cheap and dirty shot when he sees one.
  20. Absolutely brutal hit. Supposedly he's a repeat offender. Ineligible for any post season games as well. I'm sure there will be an appeal.
  21. I know that feeling. I picked 30-16. So close on both fronts...yet so far away lol
  22. The funniest thing about everytime Smith does one of these "Cowboys lost" videos....he's always in that huge room with the empty walls all by himself. I think he's just a sad lonely little dude.
  23. I posted on the other special teams thread and I'll restate it here. Not sure if it was by design or player fault, however on the roughing call the up man (Hamlin I believe) scooted upfield right after the snap and there was no one inside to block there. Not sure about the first one as I haven't watched it back yet, but definitely saw that on the replays of the second one.
  24. I'm still mad he dropped that gift INT and robbed us all of a Fat Guy INT return.
