  1. It's weird that other teams found a dance partner. Brandon Beane must just be the ugly gal standing by the wall.
  2. GREAT JOB BEANE! With the AFC wide open this year, we don't need a trade. Heck we were in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP last year. That's just as good as a Super Bowl, really. Why go all in with a generational QB? Ignore we are a Kincaid injury away from the offense being useless. And just forget all the season ending injuries to the defense. We are one Joey Bosa injury away from having no pass rush. That's right, Beane. Forget all that. Who needs speed and talent when we can bring back a guy like JORDAN POYER!!! Who needs WRs who can separate when we can sign another overpaid gadget guy?
  3. The best part of this day has either been watching people talk themselves into the "No move is the right move" camp or the "Von and Deebo would be great" camp. I can't decide which is funnier. Maybe I should start a poll...
  4. Honestly, it's a case of career longevity. They know if they stay status quo, they can talk up injuries or something and buy another year. They know they have an automatic playoff appearance with JA17. If they go all in and miss it lowers the chance they can buy another year. Meanwhile, treading water Yup. Over pay, add void years and sit with dead cap and handcuffs yourself.
  5. We are 1 hour and 3 minutes away from a LOT of threads being started on Brandon Beane.
  6. In addition to the high picks, I like the way the Jets are also taking on young, highly drafted players that need a change of scenery. So a 1 and Keon to the Jets for Wilson.
  7. I don't love all the firsts the Jets are gathering...but I like Williams being out of the division. And Jerry Jones trades Parsons for a 1st and a DT...only to trade a first for another DT? Weird, but they may have the best IDL in the league now.
  8. Brandon? That you? Get off the message board and go get a WR...
  9. Hm. Wilson and Williams for Keon, a 5th and an order of Duffs wings.
  10. If Garrett Wilson is the target...how in the blue hell is Deebo the pivot? "Yes I'm planning on buying a Lamborghini, but if that falls through I'll just grab a three wheeled skateboard."
  11. I swear if he ends up in Kansas City....
  12. I mean, when you have the opportunity to collect worthless WR with the last name Samuel, you have to jump on it
  13. I'd really rather not
  14. I can literally hear his voice saying that now. He may feel frisky and add in Gabe Davis being on the mend.
  15. And how have their fortunes changed?
  16. Wilson playing opposite Sutton at WR would be a SICK duo for Denver
  17. Jets also get Adoni Mitchell in the Sauce trade. Bracing for a Garrett Wilson move too?
  18. I don't think the Saints will trade both Olave and Shaheed. They are trying to see what Slough has, gotta have something to throw to.
  19. I'd say so too, but the Jets got 2 1sts for Jamal Addams at one time before and did diddly squat with em.
  20. THANK YOU DUVALL! This is the WR I wanted the least. Just doesn't move the needle at all for me.
  21. Yup. Absolutely. Unless we knock em away with a Godfather type offer, players that are hotter commodities like the Shaheeds of the world will be held until the last second. Gives a team like the Saints time to call other teams and let them try to top. I would hope the Bills would do the same if they were sellers.
  22. Always hate trade deadline day. So many moving parts behind the scenes that we don't and will never know. My best guess is that Beane has some offers out on some players already. However, the players we are in on there is competition for. I'm guessing that the teams that hold those players rights are waiting as late as possible to agree to a move to see if something better comes along. Even though I'll be "F5ing" all day, I don't expect to hear about any Bills related moves until 3:40-3:55 at the earliest.
  23. Like it or not, many of the actual players that played in the game have moved on. People that like to live in the past and wallow in failure are doomed to be unhappy by nature.
  24. Honestly if you're still complaining about 13 seconds in the year our Lord 2025, seek therapy
  25. The only real variable here would be Prater's calf injury. Depending on how bad it was, I could see the punt if he wasn't 100%. But we don't have access to that kind of information. Being that McDermott was comfortable letting him kick there tells me the calf was only a minor thing, which is reassuring for this week.
