  1. Well deserved. That Burrow to Chase connection is fun to watch! Pulling for them this weekend!
  2. If we go the FA WR route...DJ Chark is a guy that I would like. Has size, good speed and is still young. May also be able to catch a bargin as he's coming off injury. Guy would be a slam dunk in this offense IMO.
  3. No. I would not. DK is talented. No doubts about it. However, I like Davis. As long as they nail the 1st round pick this year we will need talented players on a rookie contracts going forward. I'd rather see Gabe hit his potential and add a 1st round talent to the roster with him. DK is a specimen. He's also getting ready for a payday. We also, as a team seemed to use our WRs on a matchup based game plan. There may be stretches where Metcalf isn't featured. Can he handle that better here then he reportedly did in Seattle last year? Can he keep himself in check? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nfl.com/_amp/seahawks-wr-dk-metcalf-on-repeated-outbursts-i-ve-got-to-grow-up-and-continue-to
  4. Honestly with what looks to be available on the FA backup QB market...if/when we lose Trubisky it wouldn't shock me.
  5. How do you think they entice people to subscribe? Ah yea...with click bait titles.🤦‍♂️
  6. Are you kidding me? He was trash with the Orlando Breakers.
  7. I wonder if the Saints job comes into play as well. Yes, salary cap is tough right now so it may take a bit...but he could have a real shot at a solid QB prospect in the 2023 draft. Defense is solid already. Eli Ankou may be next. I don't believe Buffalo signed him to a futures deal. He should be free to sign as well. Duke Williams as well 😂😂
  8. Been keeping an eye on him since his Cincy time. Love the speed. Had issues tracking the ball but made a lot of improvements in that area. With the Giants now and just can't stay out of the trainers room. Been the story of his career. Shame too, he has game-changing speed when healthy.
  9. Honestly, Daboll to Miami doesn't scare me in the least. They have a terrible, meddlesome owner that can't get out of his own way, a GM that's more worried aboit winning power struggles then football games and a meek game manager as a QB. Daboll could really build something special with Schoen. My feeling is if he chooses Miami he will be back here in 2-3 years as an "Offensive Consultant" or some such title.
  10. He also saw far less targets his way late in the season...but ok.
  11. Was a joke. I would love to find a back LIKE Barkley, however. Just not him at his price and injury tendency.
  12. IT'S HAPPENING!!!! Getting a head start on Daboll's arrivial. There will be an opening when Barkley becomes a Bill as well...
  13. They still haven't even had a draft. There are no players. They kick off in less than 80 days. This is gonna go really well.
  14. Mr. 7-9 Jeff Fisher has accepted the position of Head Coach for the USFL's Michigan Panthers. USFL "football" scheduled to begin on April 16th.
  15. In my opinion the teams that would be a marked improvement with Mariota: 1. Steelers 2. Saints 3. Panthers Places he could go and be a bridge guy/Compete 1. Giants 2. Texans 3. Browns 4. Jets 5. WFT 6. Colts Again, just an opinion. When I look at the Steelers run game from last year a few things stand out beyond the rankings. They used the passing game as an extension of the run game many times. Harris had 74 catches out of the backfield and ended the season with 1,200 rushing yards. That's pretty impressive for a rookie behind a young line IMO. Had over 1,600 yards total. 4th in the NFL in yards from scrimmage. Steelers didn't even have another guy with 100 rushing yards on the team last year. Adding Mariota adds to their ability to add rushing yards much like the Bills and Raven are routinely top ruahing offenses thanks on part to QB rush yards. Let's say Mariota joins the Steelers and goes for 500 rush yards. That rushing offense moves from 29ish into the top 10.
  16. Any time a guy has a high number of INTs (sacks too, for that matter) there has to be a certain amount of luck involved.
  17. I say you fellas send a message. In protest, you should both stop posting until Frazier is canned. That will show the Pegulas you mean BUISNESS.
  18. That Diggs guy played slightly above average as well.
  19. With the amount of teams that may be looking for an upgrade at QB, mixed with the expected lack of talent on the FA market at QB and a projected "bad QB draft" (however we won't truly know that for a couple years) I believe you kind of answered your own question in why he may be a hot commodity. Some coaches have the idea that "Yea, he's broken...but in MY system I can make him better" when it comes to former high draft picks. I would say that as it sits right now there are 3-4 teams he may be an upgrade on as starter. As you say, him with a stronger defense and run game (which Pittsburgh has both imo) and you may have a recipe for some wins.
  20. I can't see the Giants hiring Flores. After the whole "bring the building together" goal they announced at Schoen's introduction it would be a hard sell to hire a guy that was reportedly out in Miami due in part to being unapproachable and hard to work with. Sounds too much like Judge imo
  21. Just a gut feeling. I think Mariota is going to be a hot name in FA with the way he looked filling in for Carr a while back. He would add a nice dimension for their run game and a lot of the underneath passing game that the Steelers have run with Ben the last 2 years. Trubisky would be a more traditional fit for them IMO, but (again, my gut tells me) he's going to have a few places to choose from to compete for a staring spot.
