  1. It's a very valid questions and I would have been curious what those 30 reasons were. For me it's a double edged sword. I love the game of football. I love the history of the NFL. I have suffered through for so long for Buffalo to field a great team with a centerpiece like Josh Allen that there is no chance I can stop watching now. However, yes...it's getting harder to watch a game owned by billionaires that seem above the law. Seeing the game being priced out of a traditional middle class family budget. In no other sport is the Championship game aimed at people who don't really even follow the sport. And I won't even discuss the officiating. Even shows about the NFL have less and less to do with football and seem more like the nightly news. Domestic Violence, COVID, fatal DWI/manslaughter...list goes on and on. Remeber when football was an escape for a few hours from the real world issues? I watch the Bills now. I pay attention to the other games but no longer "need" to see the late Sunday, Monday or Thursday games that don't involve Buffalo. Maybe it's the above mentioned stuff or maybe it may age my own priority list has changed...but football isn't as important as it used to be.
  2. Exactly. He believes the Bengals made the Super Bowl because of him...not in spite of him. Unless the Bengals do something un-Bengal-like and invest in that line Joe Burrow may well end up this generation's David Carr.
  3. $28M can go a long way if structured well.
  4. Spain and Simmons going at it in Twitter. In fairness Spain would have ended the convo sooner...but he doesn't know how to use the "block" button.
  5. Can you explain what these metrics are precisely and why they cannot replicate it when we don't even know what the roster will look like next year? I'll hang up and listen.
  6. Any list that would rank last years Seattle Seahawks in the top 10 is pretty useless.
  7. The first key is to make the playoffs. Make the playiffs 10 years in a row you set yourself up to go on a run and win one 10 times. If Perine catches that 4th down pass last night I believe the talk of today is that the Rams were fools for throwing everything away for 1 year. How the investment in OBJ backfired as soon in as he got hurt. Going all in is still not guaranteed. We have seen teams do this year after year and the end result is bad more than good. You toss your future into this year and suffer a few injuries. A few bad bounces of the ball or...hey how about a few bad calls by officials....and your major investment fizzles, you are mediocre at BEST for the next few years and your miss cashing in with a guy like Josh Allen. There really should be a nice mix. Invest in the draft. Also, sign a few key guys in the offseason that fit what you do.
  8. Flores is now adding Texans to the last of people he's taking to court. Maybe...just MAYBE Brian was "painted as an angry black man" by the Dolphins....because of actions like this? The sad part is that he raised a lot of valid questions about the league hiring process. Things that SHOULD be addressed and topics that, while uncomfortable for some, do need looked at. But stuff like this will make it all too easy for the talking points to change and it all turn into a huge punchline. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/02/13/brian-flores-will-amend-his-lawsuit-to-include-a-claim-against-the-texans-for-retaliation/
  9. Not much. Cincinnati really doesn't break the bank for FAs traditionally. Wouldn't be shocked to see them try and sign some mid level guys (would still be an upgrade) and save money.
  10. Bills comment on release of Spain: "See, that's why"
  11. Joe Burrow: Close...but no cigar.
  12. What game?😂
  13. I got Donald. Beast out there today.
  14. Kinda liked seeing Quentin Spain giving up the pressure that lost the game.
  15. "Make him hit her?" Dude...that's not it. The only thing that happened that "made him hit her" if true is that he is an absolute piece of ***** human being.
  16. Sounds like Mike McDaniel
  17. Eh, Just like with McVeay I'll believe it when I see it. This whole week of "Super Bowl coverage" has been nothing but media overblowing every little thing a guy says and putting clickbait titles out (of which no one actually reads the stories and gains VERY strong opinions just off said headline)
  18. Tjis really isn't the years I'd want to take a $15M dead cap hit and dive into the QB market. -No great FA QBS -No expected QB Studs in draft -No 1st round pick If they are going the route of a low to mid tier stop gap, may as well keep Wentz and draft high the following year.
  19. Even Tom Brady and his "young guy outta nowhere" story was very likeable at first. Burrow's schtick will wear thin very soon. And next year, Bengals aren't catching anyone off guard. They are targets. Teams will adapt to them the way Allen and Mahomes saw this year. Burrow is good. But I think teams will catch up to him soon. Other side of the sword. Rooting for Stafford is rooting for Jalen Ramsey.
  20. If you wanna base your opinions off one game, sure. Remember Tennessee had a heck of a pass rush against Cincinnati a few weeks back. That worked well for them, right?
  21. Chiefs actually punted twice in that game...so that's an incorrect statement. There were also 8/13 on 3rd down. They stopped Mahomes on a few drives.
  22. Echoing wrong statements doesn't make them correct.🤷🏻‍♂️
  23. No menu. Taking my daughter on an early Valentines Day Dinner instead. May tune into the game in the 2nd half with like, a can of Pringles and an adult beverage or 2.
