  1. Now here's a guy.... There are a lot of mixed reactions to Allbright...however he's confirming some to be true.
  2. McVey is just gonna take everyone out for ice cream. The plus is that if everyone orders a Mexican Sundae the Rams get a 3rd round comp pick. The minus is that the Rams already traded the pick. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. Dear Lord....you PAY actual money to watch the Jets??? Like, on purpose? Is this your fantasy football punishment?
  4. If the Rams win another one, maybe instead of a parade they should just do a nice sit down dinner at a restaurant.
  5. In America we "Take the Browns to the Super Bowl"
  6. The best part to me is the "headset conversation". Reid: “No, run this” Bieniemy: “What the f---.” Kafka: “We’re blowing this game.” Mahomes: “Call the f------ play or I will.” So, for some reason EB...who lives right next to Andy on the sideline had to have this exchange over a headset. And Kafka had to chime in for....reasons. Then the best part....somehow some way Mahomes was on the headset....didn't think the QB had a mic in the helmet to communicate back. And then the writer of the article I guess heard it and could report verbatim what was said. Maybe he picked up the conversation on his police scanner? Not sure.
  7. This WNY area will run out of beer and wings when the day comes. There will be a 4 week party all across NYS. The mass amout of broken tables will clutter the roadways. Scott Norwood will be able to go in public again.
  8. The ending gives it away. "Reid could turn to an old friend in Matt Nagy, who will actually check Andy and collaborate with the offensive coaching staff and listen to his players." The writer of this piece was Matt Nagy. Guy's trying to find a job. Se riously though this whole thing reads like fan fiction.
  9. This is gonna be an amazing offseason, for sure She was wearing blue. He may have had a Lions flashback and cast her into the pit of dispear.
  10. There is a case where Jackson is worth the $40M to the Ravens in a shorter term deal or one that gives them and inexpensive "out" after a couple seasons. I wouldn't, myself. I'd take advantage of some desperate GM. If Watson could grab 3 1sts, someone will start the bidding there for a young former MVP.
  11. I predict the NFL goes "All-In" on Allen (catchy slogan) and puts all 17 Bills games on Sunday Night Football.
  12. Seems he has a lot of highly publicized romances that suddenly fall short. Reminds me of a young Rock Hudson's love life.
  13. Which in my view is odd, seeing as how there have been 3, maybe 4 teams win the Super Bowl in the last 15 years with a QB on rookie contracts.
  14. Josh really doesn't need a "mentor" in the QB room at this stage. He's a vet now. No one needs to hold his hand. I believe that's a reason the Bills didn't extend a futures deal to Davis Webb. As far as backups, I'm ok with having a rookie, a Brandon Allen type and maybe even a Benkurt type (camp arm) fight it out for #2. If Josh misses extended time the season is likely circling the drain even with a higher end backup. Very worst case scenario, the Bills have a bad season and get a chance at drafting a premium player the following year on a cheap rookie deal ti add to a championship caliber roster. Not ideal, but a good consolation.
  15. Yeah, I think most of the blame should fall on the coaches, however Bass seems to often get a free pass. If he's trotting out on the field not knowing the call, knowing no one told him anything...he could have easily asked. Double checked in and said "Coach, still kicking deep or...?" Hopefully he has learned a lesson as well.
  16. I have to think if you put Allen (or Mahomes) on the Bengals in that game Cincy wins it by 10. Not that Burrow did any thing terrible...just both Mahomes and Allen are better suited to escape the pressure, take what defenses give them and extend plays/drives.
  17. There are certainly some teams that I could see him being worth paying that much to. The Raiders just aren't one of them. Due to the rather...odd choices of draft picks by Gruden and Mayock (and the poor choices some of those picks made off the field) it's left then with not much talent, not many solid players on rookie deals that can help absorb that amount for just "good" QB play. They just have too much to make up for where paying Carr that much is tough to justify. Now, would he be worth that much to a team like the Colts? Absolutely. They are really just a good QB from deep playoff runs IMO. In my opinion, the best value for Carr to the Raiders would be the draft picks he could yeild in return. However, McDaniels seems to like him so he'll get paid for sure.
  18. Agree. However, Carr is in that catagory where he is just good enough that he will have you drafting middle of 1st round every year. If you could get away with paying him $25-30M a year and surround him with talent you can make the playoffs. Maybe go on a run. However when you pay the good like the great there isn't enough left over to to build a team that can be good consistently.
  19. Bates was great compared to what we had there this season. He really wasn't anything groundbreaking. An improvement...for sure. However it's a spot that can still be upgraded. As far as Brown, yes a rookie that shows promise. Still, a spot where competition is deserved. The "one sack" given is a misleading thing to say. Guy had issues with penalties, was very average as a run blocker and would have given up more sacks if not for Allen's ability to escape. Great personality though.
  20. People said the same about Stafford. Put Carr on the Rams and they still win it. However if you need to surround a QB with a "Dream Team" to win the Super Bowl then that QB isn't likely a $40M/year top tier guy IMO. But with the way QBs get paid he'll get $38M-$40M a season without a problem. Carr is more like cheap pressboard.
  21. My biggest worry headed to the offseason was that Bates had done just enough and Brown showed just enough promise that Beane would convince himself he could "run it back" again with that line. Glad to see that may not be the thinking. I like Bates and Brown...but both have to earn it IMO. Signing the Bobby Harts of the NFL as back up plans isn't going to cut it.
