I don't know why I even bother watching pregame shows. Fox talked earlier about the top teams that lost last week and if we should worry. Went just like you would expect. Chiefs: No reason to worry. Things are fine. Lions are a solid team. They get Kelce back and the offense is top notch. They get Jones back so the defense is strong. Bengals: Well, Burrow didn't play at all in preseason. The Bengals always start slow. Things are good in Cincy. Bills: The sky isn't falling. It already fell. Josh Allen is terrible without Daboll and Dorsey has little clue how to help him. Time to panic is over, it's time to accept our doom.

What about a only positive talk thread once in a life ?

I'm positive Josh Allen is about to treat the Raiders defense to an all expenses paid for meal at Room 40. Generous fella. -
12 Personnel--How much will it be used today and going forward?

I don't know how much we will run it but I've got it on great authority that 60% of the time, it works. Everytime. -
I do agree with what you say here. They "should" be able to see that point. However judging solely off the way they gushed about Rodgers all preseason, on Hard Knocks and the like it's hard to imagine they would be able to help themselves. I'd also throw the Woody Johnson (funniest unintentional name in sports, BTW) factor in there as well. Johnson would likely want that splash name out there and even if Saleh/Douglas wanted to ride with Wilson, it could easily turn into a Rob Johnson/Flutie situation IMO.

Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!

I would, however I'm on my phone right now not laptop. The option to edit isn't available on my phone 🤷🏼♂️ -
Even in the far fetched scenario that he's back for the playoffs it would be incredibly dumb for them to play him. First off, you're saying that Zach Wilson, who at least publicly they have thrown support behind isn't going to be able to get it done. I personally don't think he can...but hypothetically, if the Jets ride him to the playoffs he would have earned the right to start. Aaron can assist him from the sideline and be part of it. But if you take Wilson out at that point you're admitting that he cannot be the QB of the future...which is still how they are painting it. Second, dude is 39. The risk of him rushing back too fast getting reinjured and missing next season has to be pretty high IMO. My hunch is they do in fact rush him back too soon. There really isn't anyone on the Jet coaching staff that will save Aaron from himself the way Beane has with Von. The man crushes that Saleh and Douglas have on Aaron may very well be what does them in at the end.

I've seen this before, but Scott Bakula was the QB and Kathy Ireland was the kicker.

Week 2 Bills vs Raiders Home Opener!

A meltdown. Anyone else remember before last season when a LOT of people here were screaming about us needing to sign Jones....then we ended up with Von? Could you imagine this meltdown hitting right now had the Bills gone the Jones route instead? -

Seems like a move the Dolphins would make to me. But anyway good to know other teams are seeing some dysfunctional days early in the season as well😂😂 -

McDermott calling the D: what'd ya think?

This is my worry with the defense, more than even MLB. Hyde seemed ok. Didn't notice him a ton good or bad which isn't always a bad thing. But Poyer was not at his best Monday. The lack of speed on our back end is really going to present an issue against Miami IMO. Overall, I thought the defense was solid. Milano was his normal self...plus some personality. The DL got a lot of pressure. And Benford held his own on the outside. Looking forward to seeing what McDermott has dialed up to stop a Raider team with lower speed but a lot of physical players on offense. -

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Well, Mangini is a noted moron. So let's add that to the equation. -
I'm going into this knowing I'm about to get grilled. But my choice is: Gabe Davis. Yeah yeah yeah, I get it. The Official forum whipping boy 2023-2024 season. But here's a game where I think Davis can get some work. First off I see a lot of opportunities in the pass game. I see the Bills wanting to push it up the field and get Josh back on track. This is also the type of random early season game (like last years Steelers game) that Davis will tease us with his potential before disappearing again in the near future. My projected stat line is in the 6/115/1TD range.

2 big parts of the Raider team will not suit up Sunday. -
According to everything he's posted: Stef should let it go, yet he's been using it as nonstop Twitter content for 2 days. Timmy says He's perfectly fine to say what he wants about it even though it doesn't involve him in the least, but the person the joke was aimed at should have been silent. What a self entitled hypocrite. Sorry, but Stef has been trying to fix his narrative for what seem like years. If there is even a CHANCE that people will get the opinion he's not a pleasant person or he's rude or obnoxious he has every damn right to speak out on his own behalf. Her comment was public. Accidentally public or not. He has the right to defend himself in the same space. My choice still fit the same genre.

Weird thing today. Routinely the video feed comes up and then you start to see tweets from the reporters quoting the PC, which is what I look for to quote tweet and share the info here. Today...nothing. Could not find one tweet. Not even from Sal. Maybe I missed some? But it seems like Buffalo sports media was radio silent for this morning on team coverage 🤔🤔🤔 -

This is part of the social media problem as well. These are just 2 examples I grabbed but there are many more right now. If you don't understand why we are talking about it....it's because those that have the reach decide they want the clicks and interaction despite acting like it's not something we should care about. Here is Bradley. Bradley posted this minutes AFTER retweeting all of the Tweets Diggs sent out. But then he just wants to focus on the Bills on the field? Right after he amplified the issue further. Seems rather disingenuous. Then you have Tim here. Tim thinks the story is ridiculous. So instead of bypassing it he sends this...and then follows it up with no less than 7 follow up interaction tweets. It's a ridiculous story that he's using as the day's Twitter content. In one he even makes it a point to say Diggs could have "let it go" when he himself cannot. Hypocritical? From here there will be stories written about the whole thing and when the reporters are asked why they keep talking about it they will go on to say it's only because that's what the fans want to talk about so they are addressing it. They lay the framework of what we talk about. Meanwhile Glab is going to likely be given some form of punishment, perhaps even lose her job. Diggs, who spends a lot of time in "image reconstruction mode" is going to be facing a new batch of narratives. And the Grahams and Gelbers of the world that help push the issue further and make a very small interaction that could have been forgotten about in a few days into a drug out spectacle. Rather that report on this news, how about asking if there's been any progress on a Gabe Davis extension? How about digging more into why our 1st rounder from last year can't get a jersey on GameDay? How about a million other football related things that actual fans a curious about instead of the easy clicks and interaction?
