  1. What was the Bills offer to him? Did they make one? Did Sweat decide weather was a factor in where he wanted to go? Other than driver to Philly and throw him in a trunk, players have free will and can sign wherever for whatever reason. They didn't "let" him go. He chose to
  2. Which one did they take in the draft? Hypotheticals are fun
  3. And what about injury? Having extra pass rushers in the pipeline is NEVER a waste of money.
  4. He looks more like a....tight end
  5. Agree. But why not do both? Bring back Floyd for a year and grab his replacement in the draft.
  6. Playing devil's advocate here a bit.... But isn't talking about the fact that this thread has a lot of side conversations and distracting....its own side conversation adding to the distraction? 🤔😂😂
  7. Same energy. Heard he has scrambled eggs for breakfast. Topped with Franks Hot Sauce.
  8. But did you meet his other Uncle Daryl?
  9. Yes, WR is thin. These are just some speedier options than what we have mixed with guys that could contribute in the return game if needed.
  10. He improved in some areas for sure. He went from being a fumble machine 2 years ago to losing zero fumbles last year. He went from a modest TD share to explode and be a TD machine. Before I pay him I'd want to see if the fumble issue is fixed for good. Also, many of his TDs were from inside the 5-10 yard line. Is this something that Ray Davis or another cheaper back can take over? If I'm Beane, I wanna see if he can come close to duplicating both of those areas this year before I break out the wallet. Maybe add some easy to obtain incentives to this year for him as a show of good faith.
  11. And look at who his QBs have been his entire career. Watsonz Winston, DRT, Zach Wilson, a little Flacco (who he looked really good with). He could be a good get. https://x.com/HolderStephen/status/1899459951438770678?t=QP5qV9vQLxqi2HQo8zFUNg&s=19 Danny Dimes deciding between the Colts and Vikings. Very interesting. I think he would have a shot at beating Anthony Richardson for the starting spot in Indy. And if not, he's almost sure to see some play time. But in Minnesota, he could take another full season under O'Donnell and try and rehab his value if McCarthy isn't full ready.
  12. Sounds like the 49ers and Dolphins both offered him deals for just under $10M per season. So that may be his ball park now. That's too much for me for him.
  13. Losing Ty Johnson and Mack Hollins is not the reason you send high draft assets to get a pass rusher lol You can find a Ty Johnson or Mack Hollins replacement on day 3 of the draft. It's really not a big deal.
  14. Still some guys out there that could be useful DL: Dre'Mont Jones DeMarcus Lawrence Emmanuel Ogbah Derrick Nnadi S: Justin Reid Justin Simmons Julian Blackmon Xavier Woods CB: Asante Samuel Noah Igninoghene Corey Ballentine Jeff Okudah WR: Devin Duvernay DJ Chark Elijah Moore Mecole Hardman
  15. Yes, how dare Beane not just go the the "All Pro Tree" and pick a few more from that pile. What a dolt.
  16. Maybe Brady brings him to Vegas? Would be a nice target for Geno
  17. I think the pipeline somehow shifted from Carolina to the LA Rams. They seem to sign a lot of former Rams in the past few years.
  18. He's dead to me now
  19. Not excited. Not upset. Yet another Beane "Meh" WR to me until he proves otherwise. Hope he does.
  20. Where does it say we didn't?
  21. I'm seeing 40M with 30M guaranteed on a 2 year deal. That's essentially a prove it contract with a void year IMO.
  22. With the contract values out today, I'd be more depressed if we had overpaid for some of these mid level players. Overall weak FA class with a lot of teams having a lot of money to spend. There's a solid chance the players available after teams make cuts between now and June 1st will be just as good if not better at some positions...and much better value
  23. I'm in a vast minority, I actually like Fields. I think he can play. He also make a lot of mistakes. At that price as a 1-2 year bridge isn't a bad move.
