Hey, I like PFF this week. In all seriousness, this is a case where the grade meets the eye test.

Bucs are 2-0 and Baker is actually playing well. They have Eagles this week and some winnable games after. Bucs also have a history of letting older players ride out their contract and hit the market. More times than not it works out like it did with Lavonte David this year and they end up getting them back at a reasonable price. I don't see them moving Evans.

I can see this now.... -Burrow goes out next week and ends up getting seriously injured. -The Bengals trade Tee Higgins for another 1st and change at the deadline. Higgins signs long term contract with new team. -Bengals finish 2-15, get the #2 overall pick and draft Marvin Harrison Jr. 5 more years of young elite WR play in a cheap contract.

Agree about Lawson. Feels like maybe that was game specific to help with Jacobs. If so, it worked. I would expect somewhat the same next week against Washington. Robinson is a legit RB.

Yes and no. The INC makes the call if he needs to be checked for a concussion. This is true. However, rules state that if gameplay is stopped due to potential injury, that player must come out for at least 1 play. I believe if the Bills were saying he had to come off it was due to enforcing that rule moreso than anything.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear he was short. I hate seeing the game end like that too, but football has always been a "game of inches". Letting the game continue just to see how it plays out would have been egregious to the Dolphin players that made an excellent stop. We've all seen how "Let em have it" turns out.

Agree. They are a great defense, however it is a beatable defense. Allen showed in the first half last weekend. Dak continued that this week. Short surgical passing. Mix in the run game. Try something downfield if there's single coverage. The difference between Josh and Dal's games against the Jet defense is Josh went away from it later in the game and Dak stayed patient.

Agree. Most of the time Hill or Waddle have 3 yards on their guy and have to slow up to catch it. If more CBs would play the ball against Tua he would throw a TON of INTs.
