  1. Dorsey: "Oohhhh a new deep target. Yay!"
  2. Really nice information. Amazing what having a reliable big body over the middle can accomplish. Let's hope Kincaid is that guy for us.
  3. He's gonna do that thing where he just shows up and acts like he works there until it just assumed he does and he's on the team. Some real Willie Mays Hayes stuff going on here.
  4. If I were an NFL GM, I would sacrifice a 4th round pick to piss in Jerry Jone's Wheaties every year.
  5. I'd rather have him than Jerry Jones. At least Irsay would be fun at the team Christmas Party.
  6. It also is that some "insiders" tip picks on places like Twitter...often as soon as the card is sent in by a teams front office and they have a source. So the "tip" make make it out sometimes 3-5 minutes before the pick is actually in and ready. Add another few minutes if they cut to commercial. On a night like tonight they may have 2-4 picks out before the first is announced. It gets confusing especially when people just put a name in chat with no context. You may will have discussions about multiple picks, no context, what's coming all at the same time. Waiting until the pick is announced gives some order and balance to the conversation.
  7. And that's fine for you as that only has a bearing on yourself at that time. However the majority of people flat out don't want the tipped pick there. I maintain that the simplest solution is just to create a 2nd "uncensored" draft thread that people can go bonkers in and call em and discuss when they wish. But people don't want that because it would be about 5 people. See what I mean? A few spoiling it for everyone else that doesn't want it and would still like to discuss the draft as it happens on the broadcasts.
  8. I just found @HOUSE's wallet, so I may be a buyer...
  9. Day 2 Hot Takes/predictions: Levis will slide past pick 50. He was the red herring QB this year and it shouldn't be that shocking. Between his toe, rubbing some wrong in the draft process (reportedly) and his game film...he may even slip to round 3. Hooker hears his name before Levis. There will be a run on TE near the top of round 2. Still a whole lot of good OL on the board. C looks to be sticking out like a sore thumb on talent lever for me. If one they like is there I expect Beane to nab a Safety today at some point. Buffalo will not take a LBer today.
  10. It's actually the opposite. It's people that are streaming as not all streaming services are synced on the same time. And no one is "holding you back". Discuss away...just do it someplace OTHER than the official draft thread. Start your own thread for it. Hell, start a group text and message each other all night long. Do it on Twitter, Reddit, Facebook or any of the other 5,000 spots online that are open. Asking someone to keep it out of 1 thread isn't really asking for a lot....and somehow some still fall short.
  11. Asking some people to last 2 minutes is a tall task. Or so my wife says.
  12. I have a feeling that the offense we saw last year was a somewhat neutered form of Dorsey's offense. The Bills bringing in OJ Howard seems like there was something brewing there before we saw how he played and subsequently cut. Morris is ok and in the beginning of the year they seemed to roll him out for more snaps and then scaled him back. It felt like there was something missing last year and Kincaid may well fit into that spot to be able to run a full playbook now. I do think there is reason to think there will be more creativity. But I also agree that if the offense doesn't evolve, Dorsey need to be bounced. Let's give the fella a chance.
  13. The only thing I can speculate from where we sit now is it would make more sense to move back than up unless "that guy" is falling down the board or there when you pick. Coming in we had 6 picks and used 2 up last night to secure DK. I'm good with that...but the picks to trade side of the ledger is pretty thinned out for this year...and I hate giving picks next year. But as you say...lots of variables and there really is no way to answer.
  14. What's mind boggling is people that can't just be considerate of others. It's a Richard move. How about if you feel the need to discuss the picks ahead of them being announced start yourself your own thread. The majority of people watching the draft don't want the tips in there...don't understand why it's hard to be respectful. The EASY answer is just to not feel the overwhelming need to be that Richard.
  15. Stay put or slide back depending on how the board falls seems to be the best bet.
  16. The irony of this last sentence is priceless.
  17. My dream scenario for today: Rd 2: O'Cyrus Torrence G, Florida Rd 3: Gervon Dexter DT, Florida Which is odd because I detest the Florida Gators. This of course could change depending on who slides in Rd 2 and 3.
  18. And as predicted by a few...the Lions selection of Jack Campbell knocked approximately 93.2% of the entries out of the running 😂😂
  19. Ugly: The Detroit Lions. Gibbs and Campbell are good players. But there were better on both sides of the ball when they picked at positions they needed. Their defense was HORRIBLE last year and Gibbs, while a good play was a luxury pick they couldn't afford to make. Chicago Bears: RT only at that spot is a *WOOF* pick for me. Good: The Eagles. Man they love that Georgia defense, don't they? The "meh" Houston Texans: They got their guy 1 pick after drafting the guy they were "supposed to" pick. Love the aggressive attitude...even if it feels like they gave up a bit much to accomplish that. Those picks they sent should all be high picks next year too that could have been better used to surround their shiney new QB with weapons and build around him.
  20. We let Devin walk for Damien. We wanted a slightly bigger D. As for Swift...this is a move that I think fits the Miami profile. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see them go after him.
  21. It can be both IMO. If the BPA on your board is there and there is a sizable gap between him and the 2nd best guy on your board making a move makes sense. Especially if...as in this case...you believe with logical reason that the team your jumping would take that BPA.
  22. I know I'm in the minority, but I truly believe that they like their LB room a lot more than we want to think. They are comfortable with Dodson. I think he's the vet in the room that has been in the system for a while. He's likely the guy the view as a steady guy that can hold it down. They just spent a 3rd last year on Bernard because they saw something in him. He's the guy I'm betting they HOPE can come in and take the spot away from Dodson. Then there's Spector and AJK are both wild cards in the mix. Not saying they won't add to that if value meets the pick but I don't think they view it as much of a need as we do. Now DT, that's another thing altogether. That's what I expect to see a focus on along with either an OL or safety tonight.
  23. Dorsey will be cramming those D's down the defense's throat.
