  1. Here's what I see. If/when Gabe hits FA, unless someone views him as the next Christian Kirk I think he will land around the same deal the Jets game Allen Lazard. That was 4 years $44M. That seems like his ballpark. Right now that's projected to net the Packers a 4th round comp pick. So, I'd ask...would anyone have given at least a 4th rounder for him? Maybe. But what good is a pick next year going to do this year? I think the right move was to keep him. He's more valuable for this year to the Bills than that.
  2. Of course it depends on how many openings there are. But, I'll take the over. Teams don't look at fan opinions. There are teams that lean heavy on analytics that would show him as a possible candidate. One place that may be a possibility (though unlikely) is Carolina if Reich is one and done.
  3. Yeah, I mean there are dumb owners. And Mark Davis is one with a HC need for sure. But I'd keep low expectations on this one. Haha
  4. Not for nothing, but this is the ultimate "fan vision" post. Here's what may be a bit more closer to the truth about what the reality is. Belichick really has nothing left in trade value. Look at his age. Look at what he's done lately. Would take a special kind of stupid to move assets for that combination. Add in the fact that if the Patriots are wanting to move on you wait it out and call the bluff. Days tick by and decisions have to be made...you force Krafts hand in this.
  5. I'll say this. Minshew is NOT a franchise QB, for sure. However if the Jets had signed him and used the money they did on Cobb and Lazard to help their OL...with what they have on defense I think they would have a 2 game lead in the AFCE
  6. Happy Birthday!! Ooof...putting a ladies age in the thread title. That may be poor gameplanning😂😂
  7. Not going to call you anything. But I will laugh that you spend your time crying here about how you don't watch. To each their own I guess..
  8. Agree, they will. The one thing Buffalo has had an issue with (even when Jones was in) is lining up a bit wrong and having a back with some explosion exploit not...such as the long Breece Hall run on opening night. Plus, when Joseph comes out then stand to get gashed. Denver has a back with some explosion in Jaleel McLaughlin.
  9. I expect Buffalo to win. That being said I would bet on the Bills giving up a 40+ yard run this week before I'd bet they give up less than 40 total... especially if Dodson starts.
  10. I'm going to go with the Running Back Committee. If Fournette is called up I expect both he and Cook to share responsibility. If not I expect a big game out of James Cook. Buffalo has not lost a game this year when they have 100 yards rushing. They haven't won a game that they have been below 100. I expect them to try and commit to establish the ground game, work play action and stay up tempo. Looking for Buffalo RBs to combine for around 125 rushing yards, 30 receiving and 2 TDs. If they get that production....they will win easily IMO.
  11. I know it's listed as a stinger, but anything with Hyde and neck makes me wonder if he makes it back.
  12. Some people hate Operation because there isn't any real blood. MouseTrap doesn't come with any real mice...and they will NOT take Monopoly money at the grocery store.
  13. The difference between the Chiefs and Bills this year has been the health of their defense. That's the difference between the 7-2 and 5-4.
  14. To me the problem is simply age combined with unfortunate events. Conditioning staff couldn't have done anything for Milano getting rolled up on. Lots of wear and tear on both Hyde and Poyer. I think we just kept them without having a replacement plan in place for a season or two too long. Love what they have done here and we won't be able to replace what we had with them in their prime. But the time has come for fresh blood back there IMO.
  15. Yea, hoping the extra day is good for Benford and his hammy. Hyde...last thing I wanted to see this year was anything neck related for him. Hoping it's nothing serious/long term. And Diggs...I'd think they would have to lock him in a broom closet to stop him from being on the field...though depending on the issue backs can be tricky.
  16. I have a feeling Big Ed was hung out to dry a bit by this quote. Diggs added to injury report. I hate it here.
  17. Yes, even read a story where Andy put a play in that the custodian drew up as well. That does keep things fun and interesting for sure. However I liken it to "pretty lady syndrome" Unscientific observation tells me that life in general is easier for a pretty lady than one with warts all over her face. Winning 2 Super Bowls means people give them the benefit of the doubt when things are bad. This year alone, their offense has been brutal at times and flat out not good. But they aren't hearing their coordinator should be fired. They aren't hearing a new HC is needed. Makes it far easier to operate and figure things out than it does for Dorsey, Allen and McDermott because they have the warts of never winning before. For KC, they can have fun and figure it out as the heat isn't as high and they aren't under the microscope. It helps.
  18. I'd like to see what the result and repercussion would have been had he been convicted of the double murder. I would hope the decision would have been different and he would have been removed, but we will never know. The court of public opinion convicted him. The court of common sense confirms it. We all know he's guilty. However the final statline on it reads "not guilty" and as much of a dark cloud as it is, it would open the door for a lot more people being removed over being simply accused of serious crimes...guilty or not. Slippery slope.
  19. Just a guestimate but I'd bet 250-265lbs...
  20. That hat reminds me of the Montreal Expos.
  21. I see your point, however I would argue that winning the first time took pressure off a fair amount as well.
  22. I do agree. However it's important to recognize that situational football also means having awareness of your tendencies and throwing tendency breakers in as well. For instance, if you typically throw short of the sticks on 3rd and medium, taking that deep pop in that situation is smart at times as it will keep a defense playing honest.
  23. Well, here's the thing. Back when this run started players were younger and had no expectations or pressure on them Once they made the AFCCG the pressure set in and it went from a game with buddies to a very business like approach. The other thing worth pointing out is the natural progression of maturity in Josh Allen. Seeing a franchise QB grow up in front of us is something we really have never seen in Buffalo. Yes, we had Kelly however he had a few years to grow up in the USFL and by the time he came here he is who he was as a person. With Allen we are watching him go from a smaller NCAA QB who grew up on a farm to multimillionaire, face of the NFL. That's a huge change to take place in a timeframe of your early 20s to mid to late 20s. We like to think that all things should stay the same but often forget that these guys are often young human beings that are finding generational wealth and that brings about change.
  24. I mean, Linval did high crotch and toss Burrow on a play. Could have easily been flagged and wasn't. Imagine they did that to Allen.
