"That Chief Offense"...isn't scary. They put up 26 points in a home game against a defense that was playing multiple guys that were sitting on the couch until 3 days before the game. They were less than 50% on 3rd down. They scored a whopping 2 TDs and had to settle for 4 short FGs. Yes, Mahomes is great. And Nuggie Andy is a mastermind. But they've still struggled to put up 20+ a game all year.

Injuries and the kicking game are my only concern. I don't fear the Chiefs this season, especially in our building. I respect their recent past success. But right now, I see the 2024 Chiefs as the 4th best AFC team playing this Sunday.

I think the Chiefs jump out to an early lead. Bills struggle early leading to 13-0 deficit. Aaaand then Josh Allen takes over. For as long as the fans have wanted the Chiefs in Buffalo the players have wanted that as well. Allen has already hinted at that. There is no way in hell Josh Allen allows the Bills to lose. Not happening. Bills explode and put the game out of reach by the end of the 3rs quarter. Defense settle down and gets some turnovers. Bills win this one and it won't be close at the end. No. Would be a huge mistake on a lot of levels. I'm never a big fan of promoting from within just for the sake of it, however the Bills seem to have a pipeline of guys that have seemingly been brought along to take a DC spot eventually. Namely Eric Washington and Bobby Babich. If McD hands off the DC role I think it will be to one of those 2. I wouldn't, however, rule out the possibility of Rivera ending up on the staff in a different role should a coaching job not present itself elsewhere.

That's the same as it ever was in Miami, though. Through the years they have had some really good players. However the players they get don't form a cohesive team. They seem to spend big year in and year out on flashy names rather then build a solid foundation and form around it.

Honestly with how banged up they are, having the week off from doing reps may not be terrible. I'd expect almost a third of the team to be "limited" at minimum anyways. Not getting the reps in shouldn't be hard to adjust to. There are Im sure plans in place and there is some experience from the past with both weather and the COVID season. If practices are virtual, I would think they can hammer home the mental aspects and watch extra film as well.

I'm one of them. Few years back I gave up my seasons because of a few factors, but the cold was at the top of the list. Would still love to be out there, but getting to an age where no matter how well bundled being out in it for long just destroys my body for a week. At the end of the day though, they have no motivation to spend the extra on a dome to appeal to everyone because they won't lose money. Oh, they lost MY money but someone else stepped in and is in those seats. And the world keeps spinning. If there was a dome I would go again. But without it I physically can't stand the weather.

Well, the simple answer there is Murray is on the active roster and Fournette isn't, correct? Now, I do get the question of why is Murray on the roster and not Fournette, I share that opinion. But that's why Murray was active. Calling up the 2 we did made it impossible to call up Fournette. We would have had to make another roster move (someone cut or to IR) to put Lenny on the 53.

Houston played in Baltimore week 1 of this season. Stroud's first NFL game...on the road against that D. Stroud went 28/44 242 yards with 0TDs, but also 0INT. He's gotten better. Does that mean he'll light it up this time? 🤷🏼‍♂️ But it shows to me at least that on the road in what many rookies can find overwhelming...he can do well. They have a real shot.

If the Ravens come out slow and flat after 2 weeks off and Houston can jump out to an early lead it puts the pressure on Lamar to win as a passer. That would be a huge advantage for the Texans. If the Texans want to pull the upset this is the game script that gets them there.
