  1. Even though it's described as minor, I'm gonna slide this in here because I feel like Toney will, yet again be a frequent flyer on the trainers table. Guy has the talent to be a good WR but the durability of Marquis Goodwin.
  2. While Barkley has been talked about a ton it feels like the NFL rushing leader from last year being in the same situation has slipped through the cracks a bit.
  3. That's even more unfortunate for Hines. Dude was just enjoying a day. Hope for the best for the guy.
  4. Possibly. Wasn't Shakir a return option last year as well before we got Hines? Be a slick way to get him some opportunities as well. While I don't think we end up with someone as electrifying as Hines I think we can find someone that's steady. My gut tells me that they look to someone already on the roster first. Then they use the spot to bring back a vet they like/know that they let walk...Taiwan Jones/ Kumerow type signing and add to ST.
  5. Harty could slot in there. And I'm sure some guys will come available as the preseason ends. Not worried just yet.
  6. It appears that the Bills would suffer a $1.5M dead cap while gaining $2M in cap if they were to cut him. That's really not much of a dead cap. Now, I think they will more than likely just IR him...but being he was injured working out away from team activities may open the door for a release.
  7. It's almost like that cringe inducing catch phrase that McDermott has often thrown out there of "complimentary football" actually means something. Wow.
  8. I mean, he went from a long term girlfriend to pulling Hailee Freaking Steinfeld. If that doesn't scream "Elite Player" I don't know what does.
  9. No. Hines was slotted as a KR/likely backup RB to James Cook. The Bills may be in the RB market for a guy that can slot in there but logically Delvin: -Adds nothing to the return game -Is facing a legal battle over potential domestic violence -History of shoulder injuries -Reportedly has an offer on the table from the Vikings for around $7M which Buffalo would have to beat I see Beane looking for a guy that can add to ST because that was likely the role Hines was going to fill. Would not shock me if this is the opening that brings back Taiwan Jones.
  10. Hindsight is always 20/20 and it's very easy to sit back and say, yup that was the wrong call after the fact. Realistically, if you are dropping 8 on a 3rd and 22 there should be no reason that there's a place for Tua to bomb it to if the players execute their jobs. Even with extra time to throw. Yes, Frazier is a passive coach. But that one is on the guys on the field IMO.
  11. Tough break for a really good dude. This potentially ends his Buffalo career as he's a FA after the season.
  12. Honestly one of the more over hyped players in the league.
  13. Diggs Rice Megatron Randy Moss You never said current player or they had to be Bills. Do I win?
  14. Still far apart. Too bad. I think he should sit out the season.
  15. This is where I sort of away away from popular opinion. If we took away Allen's rushing statistics I would say he had a great year last year...but not an elite year due to the turnovers.
  16. "He's a system QB" is the modern way of saying I just don't wanna give the kid credit. To have to justify every little point is absurd. The kid had an Elite season last year. Played out of his mind. Deserves the accolades for the year he had. The question of "will be continue it" is the valid one.
  17. Yup. Allen had 42 TDs to Hurt's 35. Now take a look at turnover differential between the 2.
  18. When people debate Allen's place in the top end of QBs us Bills fans are always quick to point out that you have to incorporate Josh's rushing ability into the equation. Same should apply to Hurts. Minimize him for 22 passing YDs, but don't forget to stack those 13 rushing TDs he scored last year or the fact that he only turned the ball over 6 times in the regular season. Is Hurts an "elite" QB? No, not yet. He had an elite season last year and is trending in that direction IMO.
  19. I'd like to see Kyler Murray because I need some tips on playing Call of Duty. And maybe they do a Christmas special featuring Mac Jones so we can see exactly how that Elf on a Shelf looking f-er gets himself on the Christmas tree every night. Joke aside, I think Russ Wilson may be a solid choice as well.
  20. I like Washington Football Team. But if I'm picking I do what it takes to name the team the Washington RedHogs. Pays tribute to the teams history with the Hogs. Fits in with their song "Hail to the Redskins" so if flows "Hail to the RedHogs". Team colors can stay the same and the merchandise opportunities would be fantastic.
  21. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But as a thought experiment let me ask this. Game is on the line. You get to choose. Do you take Allen playing in the Bengals offense with their weapons/coaching or Burrow in Buffalo's offense with their weapons/coaching?
  22. Agree 100%. Last year Motor had 177 carries and 52 targets. 229 total opportunities. Those won't all go to Cook. I just don't think he's built for that. Cook had 89 carries and 32 targets. 121 total opportunities. I do expect an increase there but not by a whole lot. 2-3 extra carries a game and 2-3 extra targets a game possibly. I see him in that 150-175 opportunity range this year. I believe for the most part Harris will soak up the majority of touches/targets that Motor had last year (if healthy) leaving Cook a bit fresher and able to break out as the more big play threat.
