We play the Chiefs. We still have a game against the Dolphins. Doesn't matter who wins this game as long as the Bills handle their business.

We have 2 of the top football teams over the last 3 years meeting for an important mid season game. And a huge bulk of the coverage will be about someone that likely won't even be on the field. I don't like that the questions all week for the team will likely center around the Hamlin incident and put them back into that mode. This was for many of them one of the toughest moments of their life. It's really time to move on. It's also unfair to Damar. The kid is forever going to be known for this. Let him get on with his life.

If you miss you depend on your defense that had been playing lights out up to the last 50 seconds of the game. FG was the right choice.

Here's the way I see it. It better rise up. And I don't want to hear about injuries either. For the most part I have been a pretty steady supporter of McDermott as a coach. I don't always like what he does but I see the logic behind it most times. However he is a HC (now DC as well) with an extensive background on the defensive side of the ball. He really should be able to scheme up a gameplan to work around the talent he's missing. DCs do this on a weekly basis. Just take a look at the team we are playing this week. Cincinnati has never had the most talent on defense...but they have a DC that can work around it. Take a look at when the Patriots and Bills just played. They were down Judon, down Uche and STILL managed a pass rush. They have had patchwork DB play and were missing their excellent rookie CB...still did well in coverage. This stretch right here is "put up or shut up" time for McDermott. No Leslie Frazier calling the plays. He's got to come up with something that works. Time to see what Sean can bring to the table as a defensive mind. I have faith he'll have something good on tap.

3-1. I have us winning the 2 home games barring any weird rash of injury or illness. And I think Philadelphia will give us some issues. I actually feel somewhat confident heading into Cincinnati this week. I know logic should say I shouldn't...but I think Buffalo has been eager for this rematch.

Didn't say he forgot how to play. Didn't even elude to that. But like you point out with Allen's elbow injury changes things. Burrow ain't injured anymore. That's the point!

Agree. But him looking good now after starting the year slow reaffirms for them that "He's still THAT guy". I feel good about next week.

I'm not worried about what he's doing today. I'm really glad he's putting great stuff on film. Hopefully it hammers home to the staff and defense that they MUST bring their A game.
