  1. I would almost guarantee the Purdy narrative this week will center around people saying he was rushed back through concussion protocol too soon and still had lingering issues from it
  2. Didn't say he forgot how to play. Didn't even elude to that. But like you point out with Allen's elbow injury changes things. Burrow ain't injured anymore. That's the point!
  3. Agree. But him looking good now after starting the year slow reaffirms for them that "He's still THAT guy". I feel good about next week.
  4. I'm not worried about what he's doing today. I'm really glad he's putting great stuff on film. Hopefully it hammers home to the staff and defense that they MUST bring their A game.
  5. I know the Giants have had injury issues and Daboll is likely safe...but the performance today is the kind that gets ownership wondering if they hired the right guy.
  6. Especially when your coach is supposed to be some offensive minded guru.
  7. So many QB injuries today. Glad Buffalo id not playing. Weird Halloween Voodoo going on.
  8. He's injured. Thumb. Rest of starters are in. They haven't quit.
  9. Yet ANOTHER QB injury today. Stafford out for Rams
  10. He would look nice in a Bills uniform.
  11. Seems like everytime they switch to the Texans/Panther game on RedZone that Franky Luvu is making a play. 🤔
  12. Atlanta (finally) benches Ridder. So much bad football being played today.
  13. Giants will likely be signing Matt Barkley tomorrow if Tyrod is down for a bit IMO.
  14. The Jets/Giants game really reminds me of a replacement players era game.
  15. He's the QB coach for the Broncos now. If you mean Davis Webb.
  16. When are DBs going to figure out to play for the underthrown ball against Tua? I swear every week there's 5-6 INT opportunities that are missed because CBs don't turn their head against him.
  17. Steelers: 4 drives. 4 3 and outs. No clue how Matt Canada keeps his job.
  18. Dallas is absolutely dog walking the Rams.
  19. This may actually be the most insightful and truthful statement I've seen on this board is quite a while. The only thing I may add is from some of the posts I see here I question how many people even watch the Bills play.
  20. Listen, this is a Love Story. I don't think they will Shake It Off. Why Ya Gotta Be So Mean? I know people are hoping the have a Cruel Summer and say "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"..but every time they see each other they think "You Belong With Me". You Need to Calm Down and watch out for Karma. Bah...Look What You Made Me Do... 😂
  21. Hate to ruin it for you. But he was saying J.R.Smith.
  22. No one cares if it snows.THIS is what the cool kids care about...
  23. I agree to a point here. That defense has always seemed to underachieve. I thought Fangio may help but so far it hasn't. 2 things I'm looking at with them. One, the return of Ramsey. While he's always been very overrated IMO, he is still a huge upgrade on what they have. He'll find some measurements of success. The other, Jaelin Phillips. He spent some time out but is an very good pass rusher. Frankly, he's what they hoped Bradly Chubb would be. Brings a lot of physicality as well.
  24. Fair question. Before the season I thought KC would be themselves on offense. They are showing signs (Rice especially is coming along rather nice) but aside from Kelce they just aren't there yet IMO. I've watched them this season and it's the defense (that's now down Bolton) that has been the driving force there. I'm not confident their defense can maintain this level of play all year. Buffalo on the other hand is starting to really find some things out on offense. If (and admittedly it is a big if) Dorsey can figure out the red zone this team scores a ton more points. The biggest problem I see with the Chiefs so far is in the matchups. I think Buffalo's offense is a matchup nightmare for that KC defense. I also think (and we will see a preview in a couple weeks) that their offense can't outscore Miami's offense. Don't get me wrong, KC is still an excellent football team. They are a threat to win it all and will be for a long time. This just feels like a small "recalibrate" season for them.
