  1. Right now Indy, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincinnati are all down to back up QBs and all are ahead of Buffalo in the Wild Card hunt. I do think that Joe Brady could put together a gameplan to at least go .500 with Kyle Allen. Brady seems more willing to fit the offense around the players as opposed to Dorsey that seemed to try and fit players into his offense.
  2. Last year they had Wilson emerging and I think we can agree he's a special talent. That's the one main holdover from last year. They lost Berrios who is solid, traded Moore who can make plays and didn't add anything other than "Aaron's Army of Misfits" in Cobb and Lazard. They brought in Hardman then got rid of him. Add in they started with a healthy Hall last year and he's slowed now. Added Cook instead of guys that were having productive year last year in Michael Carter and Bam Knight. They got older and slower. Thank you Rodgers...lol. And they did very little at OL. The only thing of interest now with the Jets is what they do in the draft. If they lose out that's likely a top 5 pick. They won't have a 2nd. So the smart thing would be take a QB. They will have a 41 year old coming off injury that hasn't played in over a year. But...it's the Jets. So, do they trade out? Take a WR for Aaron? Take an OL? It's going to be fun watching them mess this pick up.
  3. If this is true I don't blame Wilson at all. The Jets have jerked him around and done very little to help him grow as a player. They threw him to the wolves last year then used him as a scapegoat. Then they did the same this year. And while I'd agree he hasn't shown to be a good player to this point of his career, he's likely to be signed by someone that thinks it's the Jets fault and he can be saved. He has nothing to gain by playing behind that line with the lack of skill players around him.
  4. Oh, wow. Jeez mister ya sure got me there. Did you take the time to respond with a explicit laden response to all of them, or just me? Tell ya what, don't answer. I'll just drop it!👍
  5. "Leave Dawson alone!!!"🙄
  6. I heard he dropped the ring.
  7. You are entitled to your opinion.
  8. I think if Miami gets home field they will be dangerous. I don't see that speed offense holding up going on the road to KC, Baltimore or here in January. The whole thing about beating teams with a winning record is horse pucky. The hold a win over Denver and in retrospect that seems like a good win. The SHOULD have won in Philadelphia but the Eagles got that home red cooking all day. I think right now if you take the rosters and coaching staffs into consideration, they may be the best team/staff combo in the AFC.
  9. Can't really remember how we have always looked...but I do know that the Bills are 6-0 under McDermott after the bye week. So hopefully that continues.
  10. That was bad but it wasn't even the worst call of that drive IMO. That 15 yards personal foul where Mahomes got hit in the field of play near the sidelines was one of the absolute worst flags I've ever seen. Also the PI that WAS called earlier non the drive was a joke.
  11. And they really dodged a bullet with Pacheco getting folded in half the wrong way with a leg trapped. That could have been really bad for KC.
  12. Looks like Dawson Knox had a pretty "wow" catch. No word yet on if he dropped the ring.
  13. This Chiefs defense is getting banged up tonight. Tranquill with a concussion may be big next week if he enters the protocol and doesn't clear
  14. Trubisky is anchored by his own limitations. And that offense has actually bloomed worse IMO in the 2 post Canada games.
  15. I'm just saying the things any GM says in a Presser is...well edited for the masses. Beane's usually a pretty straight forward guy, but I doubt he'd add anything of substance on the subject.
  16. From Steelers Radio guy. Looks like if Pittsburgh wants to stay ahead of Buffalo...it's Trubisky that's going to have to take them there. Another starting QB ahead of us bites the dust for a bit.
  17. Let James Cook fumble early. When he comes back from the dog house he runs it like Earl Campbell. Chiefs won't know what hit em.
  18. And what good does that do, exactly? If he says what you agree with you yell "SEE! SEE!" and if he says literally anything else it's "GM speak". I don't care what he has to say about it in a press conference....I'd give a kidney to spend the day as a spider in the web of his office though.
  19. Agree, pretty much everyone not named Adrian Peterson has a down year right after an ACL. But that dude was a genetic freak of nature. Some never fully come back at all. When we signed Von I figured last year and this year we would see "peak Von". And starting next season age would finally be an issue an dalow him a bit. The injury took what I believed would be his 2 good year window away.
  20. Could have been worse. He could have pointed at him.
  21. Honestly, they could have beaten the Eagles but the refs in that game were about as biased as they were in our game with Philly.
  22. Eagles convert 3rd and 19. They did NOT use the Tush Push.
  23. Nah, he's still going to be around for a bunch of years. He'll end up on the Blaine Gabbert career track. A "high side" back up that may get pressed into a spot start here or there.
  24. Traditionally, Beane does his pressers at very specific times. There's usually 2 or 3 he does in the lead up to the draft. Normally he will have a small one after each day of the draft to talk about that days selections. He'll normally have one more before TC. Then typically, he does one right after the trade deadline. Next time we see him is normally 2-3 days after the season ends. Then the cycle starts again. I do understand wanting to hear from the teams GM right now, but all he would be able to say is that they are aware of the situation and there is an investigation. Anything else would likely get a "Well, I respect the question but...." type answers and he needs to be careful with what the team says right now as well.
  25. One other thing that I don't think gets talked about enough with Von and his contract. It's the value that having a pass rusher with his knowledge on the roster and how he did take the time and effort to help the young pass rusher we have now. 3 out of 4 of the young gun pass rushers attended his pass rush camp as well. Those players? Groot, AJE and Big Ed. One had a "prior commitment" and didn't make it. That was Boogie. I think it's fair to ask if Von didn't come would we be seeing the production from the 3 we young guys? I really don't think so.
