How are you trading for a Myles or Crosby and still keeping your first round pick for a DT? It's not happening. Either of those guys definitely cost you a first and then some. He added next to nothing after being brought in. The obvious first moves in the WR room are to re-sign Hollins and get Shakir an extension. Now what was looked at as a retool year is actually a step forward. I'm satisfied with how the season panned out. Far exceeded my expectations. Honestly, if I'm the coach I let the defense know if they do get a shot to hit Mahomes...take it. But make it worth the possible 15 yards. Tackle him hard...NOT dirty and if you give up the penalty yards...leave him with some soreness. No weak 15 yarders. Not trying to injure or be dirty. Good legal hard football hits. Get him uncomfortable and sore leading to the 4th quarter.

I thought about this last night. As sweet as it would be to get back to the Bowl on its own...I'd find it a bit sweeter it comes at the end of the season where Diggs pushed his way out of Buffalo...only to join a team that lost in the playoffs to the Chiefs in the Divisional round.
