  1. This is part of the social media problem as well. These are just 2 examples I grabbed but there are many more right now. If you don't understand why we are talking about it....it's because those that have the reach decide they want the clicks and interaction despite acting like it's not something we should care about. Here is Bradley. Bradley posted this minutes AFTER retweeting all of the Tweets Diggs sent out. But then he just wants to focus on the Bills on the field? Right after he amplified the issue further. Seems rather disingenuous. Then you have Tim here. Tim thinks the story is ridiculous. So instead of bypassing it he sends this...and then follows it up with no less than 7 follow up interaction tweets. It's a ridiculous story that he's using as the day's Twitter content. In one he even makes it a point to say Diggs could have "let it go" when he himself cannot. Hypocritical? From here there will be stories written about the whole thing and when the reporters are asked why they keep talking about it they will go on to say it's only because that's what the fans want to talk about so they are addressing it. They lay the framework of what we talk about. Meanwhile Glab is going to likely be given some form of punishment, perhaps even lose her job. Diggs, who spends a lot of time in "image reconstruction mode" is going to be facing a new batch of narratives. And the Grahams and Gelbers of the world that help push the issue further and make a very small interaction that could have been forgotten about in a few days into a drug out spectacle. Rather that report on this news, how about asking if there's been any progress on a Gabe Davis extension? How about digging more into why our 1st rounder from last year can't get a jersey on GameDay? How about a million other football related things that actual fans a curious about instead of the easy clicks and interaction?
  2. I'm not sure how it all works but I think if we get this thread to 50 pages the Bills will sign Maddy Glab.
  3. Since this is a Vikings game thread I had to share this. Stats that shouldn't be true but are:
  4. At least on the field Jalen Carter looks like he's going to be everything I was assured Ed Oliver was.
  5. I agree with the bolded. However, until Allen can do what even he admits he needs to do to protect himself physically, they need to pump the breaks on him running by design. And it's not just for the physical well being. How many times in the last few years have we seen him try and absorb a shot to fight for an extra yard or two and lose the ball? Turnovers have and will cost this team. I get it. It's awesome to sit home and watch our actual buffalo of a QB plow guys over. Win Angry Runs awards. The media hype and pleasure many get from the media types replaying the "ohhhhhhh" moments he provides. But it all comes at a cost because his situational awareness is sometimes paused and it hurts the team.
  6. Reading was just fine. You were the one who stated someone was a blowhard and used that as a point of emphasis to back up your opinion. Logic would easily conclude you have the same feeling of said blowhard. Maybe a writing course would work for you. Get it? Got it? Good.
  7. So, what I take from this is you share the same opinion of a blowhard. Got it.
  8. Yea. The guys on this roster have never faced any real adversity. Good call. 🙄
  9. Has Mike White played again since Milano rearranged his spine or is he now content to just wear a headset and pray Tua stays healthy?
  10. That defense will keep them in every game. Those RBs will move the chains. Garrett Wilson will help Zach Wilson on some plays. While losing Rodgers obviously hurts, it allows them to get away for 3 WR sets and lean into a more conservative offensive style...which may be what they are stronger at anyway.
  11. I believe everytime Allen has had a bad game he was concussed. Only logical explanation.
  12. Raiders have an offense. Adams, Jacobs and if he's cleared from concussion protocol Myers are all good players. Renfrow is lurking there as well and as bad a HC as he can be, Josh McDaniels can call a good game. Jimmy G can do just enough. Their defense isn't horrible. It's not great, but not horrible and it gets better for them if they take Chandler Jones off double secret probation and allow him to play. But after facing a great Jet defense it's a much easier task at home this week. I have the Bills winning this one: 33-20
  13. I swear there is no fan base and media in the entire NFL that gets so delusional so fast as the Raiders.
  14. Belichick also thought Matt Patricia would make a great offensive coordinator and Joe Judge would be great as a QB coach. Maybe tap the breaks on Bill's opinion on this topic.
  15. You get targets by getting open. Davis does not get open consistently enough. If you can't create space as a WR you need to be good at winning contested catches. He is not. So that's 2 reasons why he doesn't get targets.
  16. I'll say this. The gameplan seemed to be short quick passes. That isn't Gabe's wheelhouse. He cannot seem to get open quick and short. I would be interested to see what percentage of his routes were short/intermediate/long. If I have time today I may dive into that. I'm expecting him to put up his yearly "flashy numbers" game this week or next against Vegas or Washington. That "glimmer of hope game" against secondaries that can be prone to get beat deep.
  17. Last week my picks were: Buy: Sherfield Sell: Poyer Hold: Rapp I'm going in a couple other directions this week. BUY: Gabe Davis. For this week. Davis has a knack for feasting on weaker defenses. I see him having a nice game (4 catch 85yards 1TD area) and putting up something against the Raiders D. Sell: Rapp as a LBer. I like Rapp. He brings a lot. However this week we are going up against a team with one of the better power RBs in the NFL. This isn't the week to line him up at MLB. He'll look like a speed bump. I'd activate Kirksey and work in in against any 13 personal. HOLD: Bernard. He played 110 snaps last year on defense. He missed a chunk of time in TC and all 3 PS games. Yet, stepped right in to live bullets and....while he wasn't spectacular he didn't pee down his leg either. I can see him getting better as the season goes on.
  18. Jakobi Myers is in the concussion protocol as well. That's the injury I'm watching from Vegas. That and Chandler Jones status as the week goes on.
