  1. All very true and very valid reasons. I do not disagree in the least. But even with all that going for them, stuff happens in football. It's a game that is both unpredictable and yet predictable at the same time. Can't wait to see how this one forms on the field of play.
  2. They should. Contrary to what many here want to believe, Miami is a team packed with talent on both sides of the ball. They have one of the most explosive offenses ever seen. They can pass, run and have a lot of misdirection plays that are fun to watch and put people in the best position to succeed. They are (like most teams) better at home than on the road. If they get that #1 seed they will be a very tough out. I give them a ton of credit for putting together a very good team. I think they drop this week unless Baltimore comes in and has a let down game after beating San Francisco. Week 18 on their field is going to be a battle. Whoever walks away with that game will have earned it. I think the Bills beat them. But Miami is more than capable of winning it at home. Let's see how it plays out.
  3. I can see him in the 3/yr $28M range with between $12M-15M in guaranteed cash. Not bad value for teams that don't rotate as often as we do.
  4. Never liked Sherman as a player. However the last couple of years he's really impressed me as a talking head. Not just on this topic, but he does provide well thought out and insightful thoughts and analysis. Here's the problem. And this is also why Allen will NEVER win an MVP unless he's by far undisputed no questions able to be asked the best player in a season. Too many that have votes for MVP bashed Allen coming into the league. Said he would never pan out. They CANNOT let him have an MVP. Would prove them wrong. So they will latch on to whatever they can year in and year out to deny him.
  5. The window is closing for Mahomes...
  6. Speaking in the true spirit of what an MVP is, I really like your ranking and aside from switching Hill and CMC would agree. For me, Tyreek benefits from those around him as well. I do think he's the Dolphins MVP, but Raheem Mosert has been excellent and helps take the focus off Hill at times. That whole offense really plays very well off each other.
  7. I agree 100%. No one is who they are in front of the camera in the NFL. I would offer up that there are some guys that are closer to the role they show in interviews, however. Allen would be one that seems a bit more genuine. Dak Prescott is another. Of course, full transparency, I thought Watson was a class act at the start of his career as well, so to your point you never really know.
  8. Well, here's the thing about the MVP race as it sits. Seemingly, no one is interested in giving it to a non QB. (If I had a vote I would go with CMC). Dak is done. Hurts is out. Really Lamar is the last man standing in the hype circle and he's been very average. If Allen comes out next week with a statement game against a defense that many around the league still view as a very good defense...it stacks numbers. He's played well against the Pats many times before. I don't think 4-5 TDs and 350 total yards is unfathomable this week. Miami has played well on defense as well. I think they contain Lamar a bit. Really if Allen doesn't win it and they HAVE to give it to a QB...I would want Tua to win it before Lamar. Better numbers and would likely cost Miami more money on Tua's impending contract.
  9. I think this week the Bills say their farewell to Belichick in the AFCE. Send him away with a 37-16 style drubbing. Allen has one of his signature games of the season and rushes right to the top of the MVP race.
  10. I've thought for years that the Mahomes we see publicly is a mix of success and very carefully crafted PR department work. His sense of entitlement just really chaps my ass.
  11. Santa Zach loves his MILF and cookies.
  12. Mahomes is about to go out there and start yelling about the refs to the kid.
  13. Judging by the kids reaction and the Mom's reaction in the background...this is the way the kid found out that the chimney isn't the only thing Santa Zach slid down on Christmas Eve.
  14. That would be a sizable loss. Also, Waddle is injured or playing with some kind of injury a LOT.
  15. If that kid was at a Bills game in Bills gear, that Raider wouldn't have made it out of the stadium without a security detail. Chief fans are soft when it doesn't involve bank robberies.
  16. Haahhaahhaahahahaaha
  17. I can NOT imagine this board if the last 2 plays happened to the Bills offense 😂😂
  18. Mahomes is a turnover machine
  19. I don't think he comes anywhere CLOSE to that. Draft is deep at WR. The FA market right now is projected deep at WR. Teams won't have to overspend on middle of the road WRs. I think he comes in right about at the Allen Lazard level contract. At the $11M-ish level I wouldn't bring him back...but I bet Brandon Beane does.
  20. The Hines injury does have an impact here IMO. I recall in TC at one of the Beane pressers he talked about hoping someone could step into the return role and let the offense be able to use Harty more. Said they didn't want to put too much on Harty as a return man and let him focus on learning his WR duties. That said, even when given snaps he really hasn't done much to earn more time. I think he will be back next year and one of him or Hines will be the returner while the other is sent packing. Let's hope Hines heals well.
  21. Actually, it's a really nice smooth coffee. Medium roast. Pretty decent quality and flavor. A solid 8/10 in comparison to other K-Cup varieties of the same style blend.
  22. Throw out the London "home" game and the Bills are 6-1 at home this year with only the "12 men on the field" chaos as the only loss. The Dolphins are 7-1 at home. Ravens 5-2. Browns 7-1. Oddly for the reputation of being a hard place to win, the Chief are 4-3 at home. In the NFC Dallas is 7-0. Both San Fran and Philly are 5-1 with the Lions checking in at 5-2. Pretty compelling story for wanting home playoff games this year. It's hard enough to beat good teams in the NFL. Beating them at their house is even tougher. Now, I do believe if they play with the fire and attitude they had in the Cowboys game they can beat any team home or away. But let's the games are in Orchard Park. We do make a difference.
  23. Thanks for the respectful back and forth on this topic tonight, mate. Don't always get that here lol. Merry Christmas to you and yours🍻
  24. I do acknowledge that. However keeping with context, looking over many of the top percentage guys, most kick in a dome or warmer weather. Having half your home games in Orchard Park in the elements we see does play into percentage as well. He also doesn't get a chance for many "game winners" due to the way the Bills win games ordinarily, however he is 9 of 9 in his career on such kicks. Can't ask for more IMO.
  25. No. He's kicking at a slightly below league average. That is not "really bad". That's 2 kicks off being above average. Oddly, he's had 1 blocked kick and missed 2 in the driving rain in Philly. To just blindly say "Welp, he's 23rd" without context is irresponsible. As I said, it's definitely been a down year as per his standard. But if you think he's been "really bad" I don't know what to tell ya other than your personal standpoint on kickers may be too high
