  1. Well, on the good side of they're distracted by how bad the coach and QB are, it will take them longer to realize they vastly overpaid a certain MLB..
  2. That's not really the case IMO. Robinson is really good between the tackles. Has a good burst for a bigger back. After 2 weeks he is currently has the 7th most rush yards in the NFL averaging 73 yards a game. Antonio Gibson, former WR converted to RB. Has speed. He can be a matchup issue and last time we played Washington dude took a pass 73 yards for a score.
  3. Seems like a good value for not having to drive in all the traffic.
  4. Nice assessment. There seems to be a whole rejuvenated energy with their fanbase as well since the removal of Dan Snyder as well. Which is good for them IMO. Still a winnable game, for sure. Washington DBs gave up some deep shots to Wilson last week so I'm hoping there is some opportunities downfield as well. Josh just needs to be patient and wait until they present. I feel like it's going to be much tighter than the Raider game, however.
  5. Howell isn't elite by any means but can make plays. Looked pretty good in the second half last week. Can extend plays with his legs and has a lot of underrated weapons around him. False bravado from some aside, this week will be a real good test for this team IMO.
  6. And this will be the ONLY clip I post from the Buffalo/Washington Super Bowl. R.I.P. Coach Madden.
  7. The Bills held Jacobs to -2 yards rushing. Bernard was the highest rated run defender on the defense. And while I'm not a huge believer in a PFF rating determining who plays good or not, it's a nice tool to see if it reaffirms what we are visually seeing. In this case the grade matches the eye test. The place he is having some issues still is presnap getting the defense set. However, I believe this is something that will resolve itself once he gets more live action snaps in. While you are saying to bring Kirksey up now because the schedule is somewhat soft, I'd argue if we are facing a softer schedule this is the time to have Bernard learn. Save Kirksey's call ups for when he's needed more to injury or matchup.
  8. Pretty accurate tbh. Gave up my seasons a couple years ago for this reason. I get it. It's a reason to cut loose, have fun and such. Back when I was younger it seemed there were more people that would get drunker later on in the game. But first 3 quarters were fairly tame. Almost every game I went to the last few years I have seen people stagger in through the gate. My bet is the more the tailgating experience has grown combined with the absolutely ridiculous beer prices in the stadium more people focus on imbibing before the game. Of course after kickoff no one settles in and watches the game anymore either.half the game is spent with people walking back and forth up and down the aisle to go on beer runs, bathroom breaks and such. The in person experience has moved for watching a football game to a party with a game in the background. Make sure to take those selfies too, gotta get the perfect shot for your Facebook.
  9. Strongly disagree. The Bills had 3 TD drives yesterday that each went for over 6 minutes of game time. The longest was over 9 minutes. They picked up 29 first downs on 74ish plays. That's over a first down every 3rd play. After the 3 and out to start the game their drives consisted of 7, 8, 15, 9 and 11 play drives. That's rhythm. As far as the offense looking the same...are you ignoring the much higher percentage of 12 personal being run? Or the much higher rate of Allen going under center? The shorter "take what the D gives you" passing game vs last years deep balls for all offense? The actual usage of RBs and a few screens. This offense looks very little like last years IMO.
  10. I'll give Dorsey credit here. For 2 straight weeks he had a good game plan. Week 1 we saw it working early and then the plan kinda went out the window. Dallas used the same gameplan against the Jets and didn't waver. And it worked without issue. Week 2 was the same plan in the passing game with more run game/under center mixed in . Worked well. Yes, some play calls were not the best but the overall plan was spot on. It's just 2 weeks however I feel there has been progress from last year. Washington this week will be a solid test as they do have a nice defense. The other thing I need to see from Dorsey going forward is what happens and how he adjusts when his gameplan doesn't work early.
  11. Both spots showing upgrades in efficiency. LG from 45th to 31st RG from 33rd to 22nd Keep in mind also week 1 was against a stout Jet front 7. I expect to see both players move up throughout the year as they get more reps in the system. Good job Brandon Beane.
  12. Hey, I like PFF this week. In all seriousness, this is a case where the grade meets the eye test.
  13. Bucs are 2-0 and Baker is actually playing well. They have Eagles this week and some winnable games after. Bucs also have a history of letting older players ride out their contract and hit the market. More times than not it works out like it did with Lavonte David this year and they end up getting them back at a reasonable price. I don't see them moving Evans.
  14. After seeing many of his "Animal Planet" style narrations, I would watch a broadcast with Snoop doing the commentating.
  15. We're poking fun at them....but after the 1st possession our offense had and went 3 and out I could hear the "boobirds" out at the stadium. Fans are weird.
  16. I can see this now.... -Burrow goes out next week and ends up getting seriously injured. -The Bengals trade Tee Higgins for another 1st and change at the deadline. Higgins signs long term contract with new team. -Bengals finish 2-15, get the #2 overall pick and draft Marvin Harrison Jr. 5 more years of young elite WR play in a cheap contract.
  17. Agree about Lawson. Feels like maybe that was game specific to help with Jacobs. If so, it worked. I would expect somewhat the same next week against Washington. Robinson is a legit RB.
  18. Yes and no. The INC makes the call if he needs to be checked for a concussion. This is true. However, rules state that if gameplay is stopped due to potential injury, that player must come out for at least 1 play. I believe if the Bills were saying he had to come off it was due to enforcing that rule moreso than anything.
