  1. 2 Sacks and an INT by Bernard today. That was an entire season out of Edmunds.
  2. With the wet field I do like Dorsey having a lot of misdirection worked in. Footing may be an issue and one slip could lead to a huge gain.
  3. Not "scared" of anything. I watched both the Commanders games and am speaking from a position of what I have seen. This is a talented Washington team. About the dumbest trope in sports today is saying how bad every other team is. Same people who do that also get upset when people say the Bills "haven't beaten anybody". Buffalo is 1-1...and by your logic we shouldn't be optimistic because we "only beat the Raider". Could the Bills blow them out? Sure. But looking at this Commander team objectively, they have talent to win. And this is coming from someone that said (repeatedly) the Ron Rivera would likely be the 1st HC fired. Yes, they came from behind to win. You discount that like it's a negative. It's not. Coming back from 18 down last week on the road is an impressive feat.
  4. Cardinals have played hard the last 2 weeks. Credit to them. Broncos have some potential. I never like to degrade any team because at the end of the day there is talent on every club. Are we a better team than Washington? I believe so. But Washington is very talented and anyone blowing off Sam Howell because of where he was drafted is in for a surprise today. Kid can ball. We may be the better team but this is the kind of Washington team that is good enough to win it, especially at home if they are allowed to hang around. If Buffalo has issues with turnovers or penalties then the game is wide open.
  5. The defense actually played really well in the second half against Denver last week. Clamped down and gave up 12 after the half. This defense also has 7 sacks through 2 games and can create turnovers. They have allowed 8 conversions over 26 3rd down attempts. That's really good.
  6. AJ McCarron. A player that Hue Jackson values as highly as Eric Bieniemy views Matt Milano.
  7. Of course, by publicly acknowledging the reverse karma you may very well have pulled off a double reverse and nullified and karma reverse.
  8. Don't want to speak for the OP, however I take it as a "there by the grace of God could be us" type blessing.
  9. I don't think the seat gets any warmer than it already was to be honest. Kraft had gotten used to Super Bowl appearances. Now his team isn't even a real yearly playoff threat. Oh, they may sneak in like they did last time but early exits aren't the expectations. I think Bill has this year. If they miss again Kraft may want to make changes such as bringing in a GM. I don't think Belichick sticks around for that. The lucky coach in this game, IMO is Saleh. Sorry, but I'm still convinced that the Jet season was going to implode with or without Rodgers. I stand by that. Saleh built the expectations up so high for the Jets that I believe if their season blew up he was out the door. Gotta think he gets by with the "But AAron was hurt" excuse and gets another year.
  10. My idea would be something like this. A wide hallway with Bills memorabilia from important games and milestones in display cases built into the wall. Hall leads down to an area with 2 rooms. Room 1would have replicas of the busts for each of the Bills HoF members. Maybe a fake locker next to each with a jersey and such next to it. Something that looks cool. Room 2 would have something (not quite sure what) to honor long time Buffalo Bills that contributed to the history of the team. Joe Ferguson. Kyle Williams. This would be the new "Wall of Fame". Leading up to the room, however would be football shaped bricks built into the floor. Each important member of the Bills past would have their name on a 🏈 shaped brick. That way guys like Fred Jackson, Brian Moorman ect could be honored and remembered as "building blocks" of the franchise. Think football's version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
  11. Last week I went with Gabe Davis. Was almost tempted to ride with him again, however unclear if the weather will be clear. I think I'm going to go defense this week.... My pick is a long shot, I know...but I am going to go with...Tim Settle. After playing 35% of the snap counts last week I predict he will get at least that if not a bit more. Not only can he contribute to helping stop Robinson between the tackles...but while he's in he can keep Bernard clean to make plays. Against the pass, Howell has a tendency to step up in the pocket and it could possibly result in 1-2 easy clean up sacks. And you KNOW he's going to want to show out against his former team in his former home stadium.
  12. Very nice post. All great wins. Of course, you know there's some jackhat furiously typing for the opposite post as this now, right? 🤣🤣
  13. I'm a big "Wins are NOT a QB stat" guy. And like some have pointed out there are likely many things that factor into the Chargers win/loss record with Herbert. Yes, coaching plays a huge factor. Staley has the knack of "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory". Fun fact, the Chargers interviewed Brian Daboll for the HC job before hiring Staley. Wonder how they would be today had they made the hire? Also he does have weapons, sure. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Eckler. Was always a curious decision to me why they let Hunter Henry walk as a young QB really can lean on a TE. But of the 3 weapons they have kept all 3 have been routinely in and out of the lineup with injury. Herbert himself played much of last year hampered by a rib injury. They cannot keep them healthy. I also am not sure pairing Herbert with more physical possession receivers is a good mix for his skills. Despite all that however, I do think the biggest issues with Herbert is he lacks that "it" factor. That drive inside to take over a game and be the reason that his team wins. He seems more "along for the ride". He has ELITE skills. He lacks, in my opinion that inner drive to win.
  14. Matt Breida is likely starting at RB. Missing 2 OL. Should go well. They'll probably pepper Waller with targets until he can't walk anymore.
  15. I'd like the Giants to win...but no Barkley? Luckily, they have a franchise QB that can lead them to...what's that? Still Danny Dimes? San Fran 37-13
  16. Bro, R-E-L-A-X. You're gonna get yourself all worked up and pull a hammy again. I didn't say they should trade him. I just remarked that he would be a good fit in their defense.
