  1. The WR formerly known as "HIM" came up small yet again in the second half of the season and into the playoffs. A year after the sideline blow up at Allen, he drops a HUGE opportunity on a near perfect pass and looks back to his QB with the "inches away" sign in a crucial moment. Didn't seem upset at all. Actually, in retrospect, really didn't see too much of that "firey competitive" Diggs that much all year. At times looked to be going through the motions. Then after the game does the most Stef thing imaginable...and declines to speak to the media. That's a team captain right there. Meanwhile a guy like Bass stood at his locker and answered for his mistake.
  2. I disagree. I actually think the offense had a nice flow the last 2 weeks without him. His other worldly ability to block in the run game wasn't a glaring downgrade and it's almost hysterically ironic that you say that Mr. Drops-a-lot would have made those catches.
  3. Do I think the Bills should move on from McDermott? Yes I do. Do I have (what I consider to be) valid reasoning behind it? Absolutely. Barring Sean walking away will there be a HC change? Absolutely not. We can all spin our tires in the mud but it doesn't change anything. Right now Pegula seems content with having the (at best) second best team in the AFC. And that's providing you don't believe that Baltimore or Cincinnati with a healthy Burrow hasn't passed us by. We went from a 17 year playoff drought to now a 5 year stretch where we are good in the season and mediocre come playoff time when it counts.
  4. If Bernard is even in the conversation to play today I take that as a major win after being carted off. Hopefully this makes him trend to be on the field against Baltimore should we advance.
  5. I like Ken. Shame it didn't work out here. Maybe time helps him cover some errors he made here. Might be a good spot for him as I don't think Stefanski gives away play calling duties. Lets him take a step back and learn. I think his biggest flaws were his lack of feel for game flow and an overly complicated system. Neither would be an issue for him as an OC for Stefanski.
  6. This is it. This is the game we have been waiting for. Kermit in our house in the playoffs. Then, to top it off we get a Kansas City team that isn't quite what they have been in years past. No excuses. None. We need to get this done tonight. Winning today erases a lot of bad vibes from the recent past. Shows a McDermott led Bills team belongs at the top of the AFC conversation. Losing, and yet again become the Chiefs postseason b**** and I'll move into the "a shakeup is needed" crowd. Can't get bounced by KC again.
  7. I like Stroud a whole lot. But one of my pet peeves is he's almost too careful with the ball. Almost Tyrod-esque. He's going to have to take some chances on 3rd and 4th downs and not just throw it away.
  8. Houston has done a good job keeping it close. Feels like this is where the wheels come off a bit.
  9. Weird that they wouldn't hang onto him past tomorrow to see if Martin has any set backs.
  10. C'mon guys. All these jokes about Toney are way over the line.
  11. These 2 teams know each other so well. It's going to be someone no one sees coming that will make the difference. I'm going to go with Harty...on offense. I think the Bills will use his speed to take the top off a bit. Maybe even dip into the "John Brown" route tree. On defense...Dane Jackson.
  12. Honestly, I'm not sure. I actually thought they changed it last year that teams couldn't interview coaches that were on teams still in play past the week of divisional round but I'm not sure if that's current.
  13. I'm pretty shocked by this. Wonder if they are scouting ahead for him as OC if the Bills don't keep him in the position.
  14. I think the Raiders made the right call. Now it's up to the coach and players to proves he's "the guy".
  15. Honestly, it means just as much as a Pro Bowl nod these days, so good for him!
  16. I'm going off the rails here and saying the most competitive/closest game will be the Lions/Buccaneers. I see the Lions winning on a walk off FG 23-21 49ers/Packers: I think Jordan Love is really good...but a healthy SF is too much for them..37-13 SF *UPSET SPECIAL* Baltimore starts off slowly showing some lag from their mini vacation. Houston hits a couple big plays early going up 14-0. Lamar has to be a passer to bring them back... advantage Texans. Houston moves on to Buffalo for the AFCCG by beating the Ravens 29-23.
  17. They get that anyway. Seriously, I know it's cool and hip to believe weird conspiracies and that there's always something shady about everything but it's not that deep. I swear this these days people have turned the movie Idiocracy from a comedy into a documentary.
  18. Yes, and to do it they would sacrifice having the leagues most dynamic player and one of the most polarizing players in the league to put a Chief team back in that an extremely high % of fans are bored watching and sick of seeing in the Super Bowl. They don't care about the actual 3 hours of game...they care more about being able to have a total of 20 seconds of cut aways to Taylor Swift.
  19. Gonna be cold and refs don't have heated benches. Flags will be slowed. Human nature. And enough with the Swift conspiracies, people. Jesus she lives in this fan bases head rent free.
  20. Don't have to. I have a list. -Jerry Sullivan -Tyler Dunne -Jackson Mahomes -William Mattar -My ex wife -Mama Kelce -Nick Wright -Anyone that doesn't put their shopping cart in the rack
  21. "That Chief Offense"...isn't scary. They put up 26 points in a home game against a defense that was playing multiple guys that were sitting on the couch until 3 days before the game. They were less than 50% on 3rd down. They scored a whopping 2 TDs and had to settle for 4 short FGs. Yes, Mahomes is great. And Nuggie Andy is a mastermind. But they've still struggled to put up 20+ a game all year.
  22. Injuries and the kicking game are my only concern. I don't fear the Chiefs this season, especially in our building. I respect their recent past success. But right now, I see the 2024 Chiefs as the 4th best AFC team playing this Sunday.
  23. I think the Chiefs jump out to an early lead. Bills struggle early leading to 13-0 deficit. Aaaand then Josh Allen takes over. For as long as the fans have wanted the Chiefs in Buffalo the players have wanted that as well. Allen has already hinted at that. There is no way in hell Josh Allen allows the Bills to lose. Not happening. Bills explode and put the game out of reach by the end of the 3rs quarter. Defense settle down and gets some turnovers. Bills win this one and it won't be close at the end. Buffalo 37 KC 20
  24. No. Would be a huge mistake on a lot of levels. I'm never a big fan of promoting from within just for the sake of it, however the Bills seem to have a pipeline of guys that have seemingly been brought along to take a DC spot eventually. Namely Eric Washington and Bobby Babich. If McD hands off the DC role I think it will be to one of those 2. I wouldn't, however, rule out the possibility of Rivera ending up on the staff in a different role should a coaching job not present itself elsewhere.
