When I was watching the Baltimore/ Dallas game I saw how the dynamic between Henry/Jackson is so deadly. Especially on those read option plays they do. Dallas would key on Lamar only for it to switch at the last second and get steamrolled by Henry. Likewise, they would bow up to stop Henry and have a Corvette slip past them. Gonna be tough to defend.

It's his scheme. As long as McDermott can get pressure with sending 4 primarily, he has the scheme in place to shut down offenses. Players are pretty "plug and play" with what they do. There's a long history of him being able to take backups and castoffs and then being the best version of themselves here. No Hyde? No Poyer? No Milano? No problem.

I don't love that all 3 games are on the road against 3 physical teams with loads of talent. I do believe that the coaching staff will have some good game plans to shut down that Ravens rush attack, the Texans talented WRs and a Balanced Jets offense. We need to play clean ball. Execute, keep the penalties down and stay patient on offense. Ravens and Jets defenses seem to play well against Allen historically.
