  1. He should've been trying to recruit Josh because Dak is absolutely ass.
  2. Lots of teams leaving a voice mail on Dan Quinn's phone saying "Um, heyyy something suddenly came up. Gonna have to reschedule that meeting...."
  3. I'm sure they will. They would be dumb not to and the Steelers organization has never been dumb. Wouldn't shock me if they announced an extension either. But he would be a HOT commodity on the open market. Pittsburgh will need to go big.
  4. Here's my thought. The Dolphins run something pretty close to and based off the Shannahan System. And we hear nonstop about how QB friendly the system is. I do believe you still need a QB that can execute it and it's not the one size fits all system people think. However, Tua can run it as long as everything is on schedule. Anything else he personally falters. Cold weather or against solid defenses he's not the same. Any time he's forced to come off the initial read and improvise, he fails. And I'm sorry but the NFL Tua is not clutch. And he's about as mobile as a fire hydrant. They should move on. But I see them eventually handing him a Daniel Jones level contract and hoping for the best.
  5. He's not wrong. He's even wise enough here to acknowledge that a dome would have no bearing on the situation which is better than a LOT of talking heads see. And curse you for making me come to Mike freaking Florio's defense today.
  6. Yes and no. While they do have 2 possible teams to keep an eye on, the extra days can likely be spent doing some self scouting and cleaning up their own tendencies and mistakes. Gives them a bit of time to focus on themselves before focusing on anyone else...a luxury at this point in the season the Bills or Steelers will not have.
  7. Fin fans are waking up a bit today. All season They have heard that Tua isn't clutch, he pads stats against bad teams and struggles against good ones. And over the last 3 weeks he's shown that. And now they have a QB that has been in the league 4 years, appeared in 1 playoff game and whose "signature win" is a week 3 game against Buffalo last season that was aided by the heat index that he doesn't even remember winning because he was concussed. And he's very likely going to be looking for some serious money.
  8. He's been there for 17 years. It's a job that requires long hours and a grueling schedule year round. This may or may not have anything to do with money. Wouldn't shock me too much if he walked away. Took a year off and joined one of the Sunday morning shows like Sean Payton did, then came back the following year with his choice of jobs. He's really got nothing left to prove in Pittsburgh.
  9. I agree with the no excuses. Both tomorrow and moving forward in the playoffs, should Buffalo advance. It's all right in front of them. An almost perfect path back to at minimum the AFCCG. We have the team viewed as the worst team in the entire playoffs, at home and missing their best player with Mason Rudolph starting at QB. There is no reason to lose this. And should they win, we get a Chiefs team that is the least dangerous version of that team we have seen in the Mahomes era. And we get that game at home. This is the year that McDermott can vanquish a LOT of the demons that have surrounded this team during his tenure. If he can get the Bills back to MINIMUM the AFCCG, a lot of the naysayers disappear. Stumble against the Steelers or get bounced by the Chiefs yet again and it will be a looooong off-season in WNY.
  10. I find it so satisfying that a team that was arrogant enough to drop 70 on another team had this at the end of their season -56 dropped on them (eliminated from 1 seed) -Lost at Home (Eliminated from AFCE Championship/drop to 6 seed) - One and done in playoffs losing by 20+ points. - The "revolutionary offense" scored 19, 14 and 7 points in the last 3 games. Bye Bye DolFrauds
  11. In fairness she is undersized and new to the sport. A full off-season in an NFL weight room will do her wonders
  12. Imagine catching a Josh Allen pass in these conditions.
  13. Actually, the reason they keep showing her is it invokes fan engagement. Even the overly cynical negative comments equal engagement. Things aren't scored as positive or negative online. It's all about mentions. If people would stop complaining and stop mentioning her altogether they would have zero reason to show her. Basically, they people who cry about it are just as big of a reason they show her and are no different than the "15 year old girls".
  14. Building a team with the speed like Miami has is fantastic if you have home field advantage or get lucky with dome or nice weather throughout the playoffs. It is not a winning formula for January weather on the road.
  15. Freaking Tua screws everything up.🤣
  16. Whatever happens from this point on...I blame Miami. If they didn't trot out a noodle armed QB that has zero clutch gene and they were able to handle business at home and win the division both the Dolphins and Bills would be playing in warmer Florida. And I would be there having fun in the sun all week. Now I'm stuck home and have to shovel snow tomorrow. Seriously, EFF the Fins. Screw everything up.
  17. Hmm... I feel like the opposite nof a YINzer would have been a YANGzer.
  18. Yeah, extra time for a guy like Andy Reid can't lead to anything positive, right? I'm sure he'll waste the day away. 🙄
  19. Not really. They can start prepping a basic gameplan. Tip it more to the home favorite and adjust if needed. Gives them a chance to self scout as well a bit. They also get the extra time to rehab players. An extra session or 2 is a difference. By the same token, anyone from the Bills dinged up gets less time to rehab.
  20. Yes, until next week when whoever we play (if we win) gets 2 extra days of rest heading into the game. From a competition standpoint we're getting the short end of the stick should we beat Pittsburgh.
  21. I would imagine in this scenario you have to go big for the QB. If that means a big trade and an over pay you have to do it. Unless there is one of the "other guys" in the draft that they feel is a fit and can grow. As far as vets, Russ Wilson should be available but I don't like the fit. Maybe Justin Fields. I'm not high on him but in that division he may be the second best QB if the Buccaneers bring back Mayfield. Other than that you have the usual suspects as bridge guys (Jimmy G, Brissett, Minshew ect) and that's just a wasted year.
