  1. Usually on Thursday games I'll check out the teams who are playing's message board. More times than not the thread here is longer than the ones on their own fans bases pages.
  2. He is. Doesn't mean he plays until the same age as his brother. Guys retire at a lot of different ages.
  3. One Kelce down...one to go. Wonder if Travis is pondering it as well after a down season (by his standard). Would give him time to follow T Swift on her concerts like a Dead Head and give the Kelce brothers a shot to make the HoF in the same year.🤔
  4. I wish the Bills/Chiefs game was up first. Obviously, I'll hope the Texans win so it gives the Bills the home AFCCG if they win. But if I knew the Chiefs would win I'd pull for Baltimore because I don't want Mahomes at home yet again for another AFCCG. I do think the Texans have a chance. They are playing their best ball right now and that makes them dangerous.
  5. This. To me this is the ultimate "put up or shut up" situation. The Bills need to put the Chiefs down here. A win in this spot erases years of playoff failures to the Chiefs. Erases last year's divisional round let down at home against Cincinnati. I don't think I'm overplaying it by saying it's the most important game of McDermott's era. Getting bounced for a 3rd time in 4 years by the Chiefs would be unacceptable. Losing a home divisional round game for the second straight year would be equally unacceptable. Especially against a Chief team that is not as strong as years past. Considering the opponents recent past, I'm oddly confident. The time is now.
  6. Worried about the injuries. Worried about our kicking game. Not worried about the Chiefs.
  7. This is NOT who I would want...but Matt Haack is a free agent. Betting that's who comes in.
  8. Because if Harbs has to listen to "YEEEEAAAAAA HERE WE GOOOOOOOO...." for a full season he may just crush someone's head in with a frying pan. And that would be bad.
  9. They have interviewed Leslie Frazier and Steve Wilks. That settles the Rooney Rule so they can offer him a job if they wish. I also agree that Spanos is not likely to pay what he's going to want. Wouldn't mind it though as it would make the Chiefs life a little more difficult twice a season.
  10. https://en.as.com/nfl/why-do-nfl-players-have-be-love-or-choose-love-on-their-helmets-n/ Google is free.
  11. This is our opportunity to take bus loads of Steeler fans and drive them to Rochester.
  12. It's how I feel with a section of Steeler fans when it comes to head coaches. To go From Noll to Cowher to Tomlin, they really have no idea how difficult finding a HC can be. Generations of Steeler fans have not had to suffer through even 1 Marrone, Stevenson or Bullough.
  13. Pretty high. The narrative that the Bills play down to their opponent is in the back of my mind. Taking a different approach, sometimes maybe teams just play up to the Bills and force mistakes. Steelers playing with house money today have nothing to lose. However, this is the best matchup we could have hoped for IMO. And the likely road to the Super Bowl is clearing up. Steelers --> Chiefs --> @ Baltimore. Not a simple road but doable. This is the best path the Bills have faced under McDermott IMO. I'm confident.
  14. I have a feeling this game is going to get chippy early. Steelers are going to want to try and out physical the Bills during the play and do some shoving after. And the Bills don't put up with that these days.
  15. I'm aiming for Levi Wallace. He won't catch it anyway.
  16. Well here's the thing. We can throw them without penalty until the warning. Choose the freebies wisely.
  17. Jordan Love was spectacular. Looks like the real deal. I can hardly wait to see the trade package the Jets send Green Bay in 2035 for him.
  18. I get more frustrated explaining that the state of New York isn't just some large state with skyscrapers and huge amounts of traffic in every town and that there are things like farmland and trees.
  19. You're welcome to park at my house. Free of charge. Driveway is cleared and it's fully accessible. Of course it all the way out in Brockport, so you may want to get here soon. Heck of a walk over to the stadium.
  20. In fairness we haven't seen the playoff 49ers or Ravens yet. How will 2 weeks off play into Baltimore's rhythm? Will Shannahan fall apart in the playoffs again? I'd bet that at least one of the #1 seeds fail.
  21. Well, problem is guys only get so many chances at a HC job. Pick the wrong one and you may never see another shot. Steve Wilks. Frazier. Sometimes it's smarter to pass a bad situation. Same is true in any walk of life. I've turned down positions (and yes in my former career field there were limited positions available) at better pay because the situation was irreparable and I didn't want that stank on my name when it failed.
  22. For anyone that says he won't get a job I present to you: Dave Culley. Lovie Smith. Mike Pettine. Every so often a job becomes available that no one is wanting to be a part of. The Browns the year Pettine was hired had MANY people turn down the job. Back to back years no one wanted the Texans job. Now I present to you: the Carolina Panthers. No 1st round pick. Locked into Bryce Young. A moronic owner. Not much talent on the roster. Back to back seasons of firing a coach in season. Very dysfunctional. It may come down to a guy like Frazier, Rex Ryan or EB that are so desperate for a chance they jump at it. The Ben Johnsons of the world aren't headed to that situation.
  23. I like the Lions. I think the Lions win. But have to pull for the Rams. Don't want to see another franchise win their first Super Bowl before Buffalo does. I'm a hater.
  24. This whole Packers run and Jordan Love exploding all started when they didn't have a turkey leg for Love after they beat the Lions on Thanksgiving.
