  1. Elam switched to 5
  2. Cool. What team is Brugler working for? As we all should know by now media and "experts" draft boards are very different than actual teams draft boards. Bet Brugler had T'Vondre Sweat and AD Mitchell taking up spots on his board as well. I can say with confidence that they (along with many other players) were off of some team boards like players are every year. When experts say they have "150" draftable grades, it's not taking into account medicals, behavioral issues, scheme specific gradings. Many teams boards are much smaller
  3. So far those 3 4th with the 2 2nds. Beans has a chance to be really active at the trade deadline this year and not cost us any net loss.
  4. This is why I like this idea. If he needs a year to get up to speed and learn we have the spot covered. McGovern can hold it down for a bit. If he ends up starting now, McGovern can slide back to LG and it improves both positions.
  5. Love this pick. Physical player. Starting to notice a trend these last 2 drafts yet? If he eventually starts...him next to Torrence will blow open some holes in the run game. With the DT position being so deep with impact players these days this is exactly the type of OL that needs to be built. No more finesse. Strength up the middle bof the OL.
  6. I'm fully expecting to see Buffalo snag MJ Devonshire this round.
  7. I think too with NIL in place we're going to see guys that are 23-24 coming out of the draft more often. We're seeing it a bit at an extreme right now as many of these kids come from the extra COVID eligibility as well.
  8. Ah yes. Ty Johnson. 30 carries for 132 years last year. He's a fun guy to watch, but he's a RB3/KR at BEST. He's not a "1 play away from a starting role" player. Needed a younger upgrade there
  9. 2 of my favorite bits of information on this kid: -Full name is Re’Mahn Walter Zhamar Jamar Davis. -Has 14 siblings.
  10. Wow. Well if we still have all those needs it's really convenient we still have all those picks.
  11. We needed both. Right now, RB was the better value.
  12. Welp, there it is. Confirmation that Davis was a great pick.😂
  13. Nice pick! I like Davis. A couple on this list I liked a bit more, personally but will be a good compliment to Cook.
  14. That's a Dan Campbell guy right there. One large meaty man.
  15. I'm starting to think if he makes moves, it's for 2025 picks and sliding down or out of the round. Very rapidly hitting that threshold where their board is likely running thin on draftable grades
  16. They had to lock the nerd in a broom closet to pull it off, but they managed it.
  17. Taking a fast RB in Rd 4 is a fine move. Moving a 3rd next year and spending that 4th this year to do it because "he's fast, it's cool" is going to lead to unemployment.
  18. Seattle has 2 of the next 3 picks. Rattler with one of them makes some sense to me.
  19. We're at the part of the draft where RB starts making more sense. Many really good ones on the board still. Some of which would be excellent handcuffs to Cook. I would not be upset at all if that's the direction they go here.
  20. If Beane feels like going after a vet WR, I'd rather hang onto picks and not pay a huge contract to a guy that largely has a similar skillset to the guy we just drafted 33rd overall. Maybe someone with speed, size and some experience like DJ Chark, who is a FA right now may bring something different to the room.
  21. It's kind of like eating your Lima Beans. It's the smart choice. Probably really good long term. But it's not fun and rather boring.
  22. I like Watson. Good vision. Little underweight and concerns with pass pro for me. But could be good.
  23. I think it's a fair bet we see Buffalo take a RB at some point today. Lots of talent there left These are the guys I'd like to see one of taken by us: -Will Shipley, Clemson -Braelon Allen, Wisconsin -Audric Estime, Notre Dame -Ray Davis, Kentucky -Isaac Guerendo, Louisville -Isaiah Davis, South Dakota State -Frank Gore Jr, Southern Miss
  24. I'm wondering if the Giants stick and pick a QB early today. Rattler still on the board.
