  1. THIS is the video that shows me I want nothing to do with him. Dude is standing around, helmet in hand shouting and dancing around....and look behind him. Teammates getting ready for the game. Warming up. Going through routes and catching passes. Heck, one guy almost runs into him. Nah. He's NOT talented enough to put up with that. Hard pass.
  2. "Trade for Jeudy!!!!" "Give up the farm for Surtain!!!!" More realistic in season Beane move:
  3. Being that New Jersey is a trash state...I'm making Garbage Plates.
  4. If you zoom in you can see the Broncos have an audible call of "Flutie".
  5. Agree. Here's the thing. With the losses to key players on defense I expect the Bills to take the next 2 weeks and try some things. Experiment, if you will. It's an excellent opportunity to pick up 2 wins while trying to see what backups can step up and how to run the defense with the absence of White, Jones and Milano. On offense it's a good chance to put some things on tape. Get Kincaid and Co involved. Wins are wins. There are no style points in the NFL. Early season is time to stack wins and figure out your team. This gives them the opportunity to do just that.
  6. I agree with you saying there's a risk in not doing anything at this point. I do think a proven option on offense would be a great move. Just not sure Juedy is the move. That's just the move people want to make because he's a guy they heard of that's rumored to be available. The list of guys that Beane is hearing may be available is likely much longer. I remember, and I quite certain Brandon Beane does, when the Bills gave up a 3rd (and a late round pick IIRC) for a guy that showed minimal effort and immaturity in Kelvin Benjamin. We know how that turned out. It would shock me if he makes the same move twice.
  7. Wilson definitely isn't what he once was. But he's getting no help from his OL.
  8. Agree about Evero. I think he wasn't interested in staying after he was passed over for the HC job...which he did interview for. It was likely a year or two early for Evero to get a HC job...but he's a guy that will likely get one in a few years and I think he will do well. Biggest problem with their defense right now is they don't have the personal that fits the style Vance wants to play. It's a terrible combination.
  9. I can't blame them for trying to land a perceived franchise QB. If we didn't have Allen we would have BEGGED to make that trade at the time. That trade turned out bad. I personally think the trade for Sean Payton was worse even if it cost a bit less.
  10. Don't undersell the Buccaneers. They aren't a bad football team...and definitely not on par with what the Giants or Patriots are right now. And as far as Baker Mayfield...well his team won the last time he played us. They, at least, have some playmakers on both sides of the ball and can be dangerous.
  11. Right now the Bills should not have any "trade targets". They should be seeing what an expanded role for Settle and Poona Ford looks like. Reconfigure after a couple weeks. In the next 2 weeks we play 2 of the worst offenses in the NFL. This is excellent timing for Buffalo to get a good luck at new starters and evaluate from there. If the results are poor, I am sure there will be some activity to look for help. McDermott said yesterday, they will look for help from within first and go outside if needed.
  12. Yes but need for your team still has to dictate. Obviously, if the player fits a need you go all in if another contender is trying as well. But if it just to stack a player at a position you don't need filled it's a waste of cap space and possibly hindering the opportunity to shore up your squad in another area. For the Bills right now EDGE is not a need.
  13. It really shouldn't. You sign players that fit your scheme and your team. If you're adding players (and I assume you would be talking about high level guys) that don't improve what you do just so another team can't sign, ultimately you are paying big bucks and getting reduced output back from it. Horrible way to manage a team. Now if the player fits and can improve your team...so be it.
  14. If you make moves just to prevent another team from signing a guy you are running your organization poorly. Should we also call and overpay the Jets for Mecole Hardman? A 2nd could accomplish it. As far as should they have interest...IMO no.
  15. No. Bill is wanting that record. He's not taking a year off from trying to win. That said, I think he sees the writing on the wall and that it's all coming to a close for him. Having to face life without TB12 has taken its toll and exposed him as a GM AND as a HC. Unless there is a major turn around in the back half of the season, I fully expect this to be his last year. And I don't believe they have the talent to turn it around.
  16. This whole slate of games this week looks like a major *woof* week. Thankful for RedZone channel. At least I can keep up on my fantasy players and not have to get in invested in any of these games.
  17. Are we pretending that pompous arse Sean Payton doesn't exist?😂😂 Narrative. It can change weekly. Right now because he's playing out of his mind them trading for CMC is a genius move and everyone should have done it. 3 weeks from now if he's hurt again it will be "oh yeah, forgot he's made of styrofoam." Very rarely do the teams that throttle everyone early in the year end up winning it all. They are playing well right now but it's a long season and the NFC is a lot tougher than most give it credit for. Let's see who is still healthy come December/January.
  18. Yeah, that dude is an idiot... However as a side note I remember when the Bills used to come play local teachers in Basketball in the off season. Those were some really awesome times. My mom used to take me whenever they came close. I still remember seeing Don Beebe full sprint up the court and dunk one. Yes, little Beebe. Guy was an insane athlete.
  19. I was worried we were too beat up for a big win. Then I saw the Giants injury report. They's beat up AND bad. Will be a nice relaxing Sunday night for Bills fans. Buffalo- 38 Giants- 16
  20. Jesus, even our former players got screwed in London. This is a shame.
  21. Wow. Not too hard on the eyes. Is that her granddaughter with her?
  22. See, now I think that's the first step to getting rid of Bill all together. We all know how petty Belichick can be. It's actually one of his only redeeming traits IMO. The second Kraft strips away GM duties Bill would resign. He's had full power for far far too long to share it at this stage of his career. He's not taking what would equate to a demotion and sticking around.
