  1. Honestly, Mahomes is probably the only player in the league that if he were to sustain a season ending injury because of the turf would cause sweeping changes and mandates for proper field conditions NFL wide
  2. They are. And I dislike Vrabel as a person. However I have to give the guy credit for his ability to turn any game into a slogfest. Hard to watch football but gives his team the best chance to win.
  3. I used to attend games with my ex wife. She fell under this standard.
  4. I have some ideas: - When losing a coaching challenge the coach that loses the challenge is mandated to be kicked in the 🥜 by a member of the opposing coaching staff. - All punts on 4th and under a yard near mid field will now result in a 2 point "coward fee" being awarded to the receiving team. - If Josh Allen successfully hurdles an opponent that player is put down at mid field like a horse with a broken leg. And the Patriots are awarded a comp pick. - Any time league wide there is a pass interference call made, the Chiefs automatically get the yards marked off in their favor as well as long as Mahomes points downfield. - If Mac Jones cries every fan in attendance gets a FREE hot dog.
  5. Yes and no. Owners approval is needed, sure. However think of Goodell as the idea man. He pitches stuff like this to ownership and tells them how much money they stand to make...which is what they care about. As long as he tells the donkeys in ownership they stand to profit they will vote for whatever he suggests. And he's made them a LOT of money of the years doing this which is why he keeps his job. It's not like he's an innocent bystander.
  6. They will use the opportunity to announce Taylor Swift will be on the Madden cover next season.
  7. The idea of having the championship game of American football not be played in America is such a stupid concept.
  8. He's so good that he may not even start against us next week. The Pats are actually playing Malik Cunningham in spots today and if Mac has a bad game they may end up going with....wait for it...Will Greir against us next week. 🤣🤣🤣
  9. Yup. Tomorrow will bring some answers. Though I'm sure if Elam plays well you will just casually throw out a "Yea well it was the Giants".
  10. Yes. You are missing that 1st round picks aren't always immediate starters. Some take longer to develop. He's 23 games into his career. Are you crapping your pants over Kincaid right now? Were you crapping your pants when Allen didn't win the starting job right out of the gate? I'm not going to waste time checking...but I'm willing to bet if I looked back on the "Elam drafted by the Bills" thread I would see you crapping on the pick then. This is likely you keeping up with your narrative.
  11. Or, and hear me out here...stuff happens with reasoning behind it. I bet you were firm in saying Bernard was a wasted pick too, right? Or perhaps that AJE "sucked"? It's ok to admit that some guys take a bit longer than others. Plenty of opportunity. Was a rookie last year. Yeah, that's a long time. 🙄
  12. Pugh is actually pretty steady. Don't like that he's in there, but that line should still be a tire fire.
  13. NFL RedZone all day. Keep up to date with the games and how my fantasy players are doing. Scream because whoever I sit on the bench SCORES 2 TDs each.
  14. Last year Tyler Huntley was a Pro Bowler. The year before Mac Jones was a Pro Bowler. People need to stop using that as a justification on someone's current play level. Aside from some contractual language and bonus money it's meaningless. That being said, age and injury have definitely caught up to Poyer and had an adverse reaction to his play. The thing that he (and Hyde) still have is experience in the system, experience with each other and great communication. However, physically he just isn't what he was...and that happens. He lost a step when physically he didn't have many steps to lose.
  15. So, with Kincaid iffy to clear concussion protocol, I would think there's a chance that we see an elevation for Joel Wilson in addition to Ingram at CB. Or maybe they just roll with Knox limited snaps and Morris/Gilliam getting a lot of extra work.
  16. I would be happy with a 1 point win and no new injuries.
  17. Talent wise before losing White, Milano and Jones this was a top 5 unit. And it translated to the field. After losing that much talent this probably drops them to top 10-12 on paper. We we see how it translates to actual play. In my eyes everything that a defense does is set off the pass rush...and ours is still near the top of the league. Even losing a bit of pass rush juice Jones brought. If we can still apply pressure it masks the lack of speed in the back half. It helps the boundary CBs have to cover for less time. It makes life easier for everyone. Talent wise we may be down, but let's see what McDermott can do and will do scheme wise to make up for it. Thankfully, we have the Giants and Patriots back to back and it will give them the ability to try some things out and see where they stand.
  18. I've said all week that the time to see what Elam can possibly be is right now. In the next 2 weeks there is no long flight to London. There is no WR the level of Ridley/Kirk on the Giants or Patriots. He's gotten he feet wet so to speak with some game action this year. I would play him as many snaps as possible in these next 2 games and hopefully he can build some confidence before facing Evans/Godwin in 3 weeks. The BEST case scenario for the Bills is that in the next 14 days the light goes on and he balls out. Even if he plays average or slightly below...let him take some lumps and learn so he's peaking around the playoffs.
  19. I will write a sternly worded letter to Terry Pegula and ask to see his manager.
  20. I sort of disagree with this. Might be time to change the narrative that we are weak inside on the OL. They did well against the Jets DL. The Commanders DL. They held Wilkens in check. Williams of the Jets wasn't a factor. If anything I'd call it strength vs strength. Our weak spots are at the tackle positions. I don't thing they have the edge rushers to exploit that.
  21. I have thought about this one a LOT this week. Mind drifted to several guys before making the decision. And it's one I feel strongly about today. Kaiir Elam. This week Elam won't be in his first game action of the year. No jet lag. And he won't be asked to cover Calvin Ridley or Christian Kirk. The Giants don't have a boundary WR of that talent. Add in that with a depleted OL and backup Tyrod Taylor.... pressure may force the opportunity for a huge rebound game and some MUCH needed confidence for the hotly debated former 1st rounder.
  22. I believe before the season Beane was talking about (I think Isabella) someone possibly stepping in as a KR/PR to allow Harty to focus on just the WR duties he's learning. That to me would be the move if Beane made this kind of move. That would be pretty much all I see Patterson doing here barring injuries. Could be a nice help, but then it's a ST roster spot. IIRC Patterson was a free agent not long ago and it seemed like there was some mutual interest before he went back to the Falcons.
