What an odd thing to just throw into the conversation.
Regarding Poyer specifically, many people noticed him dropping off near the end of last year. Taking bad angles, slow to the spot he had to get to. It was chalked up to his injury riddled season and the fact that Hyde wasn't playing. He didn't look the same in the preseason and through 5 games (almost a third of the season) he still isn't back to form.
It's fair to point out the obvious. He's a good dude. He's done a lot for the franchise. But it would seem the age and injury have piled up and it's more than fair to wonder if he will return to form.
