Business like. Remember the team we had back when we stomped Dallas on turkey day? That team had fun. They were playing lights out and enjoying the moment. Then the expectations started and the team stopped being loose, fun and playing free.

Did the offense work back then? Did we have injuries to our best D players? Did Mac freaking Jones look like an all Pro against us? 2 weeks ago I would have been with ya. This is now 3 straight with 2 being against horrible teams and key starters out and we lay an egg. You say some are panicking. I say some are burying their head in the sand.

4-3 at this point in the season and one of those wins being one we likely SHOULD have lost isn't....ideal. We still have: Away: Cincinnati Philadelphia Kansas City Miami Home against 2 teams we already lost to. Not to mention Dallas, Tampa The Chargers and playing the way we are I question is against the freaking Broncos at this point. Looking over the schedule, sure anything CAN happen...but if it takes 10 wins to get the WC....I'm not sure I see 6 more wins on there unless something drastically changes.

This. I would see we are still about 4-5 games from seeing him really start to flash here and there. He'll make it back pretty far IMO.

I think we can add James Cook in the "good" category today. Shakir did well with what he was targeted for as well. Poyer had, I believe his best game of the season. Poona Ford. Is this guy really the best we can do? I think we could actually find someone on a practice squad somewhere to give us better snaps than this dude. He's worse than Settle...who actually made a play today. For all the talk of the Offensive struggles (and they are valid) there is absolutely NO WAY this Pays team should put up 29 points and get a GW drive on us.

Never was in the conversation of that concussion so I don't really know. And yes, he had mental errors as well. Not saying he played particularly great for a large chunk of the game. I'm talking about his off target passes. You're talking about sacks.

I do agree, he has seemed to regress in other areas as well. That being said the body has to physically respond right as well.

No one is making up excuses. I'm not saying anything other than that shoulder seems to be more banged up then they let on. That could be a long term problem. I also flat out refuse to debate with unintelligent hyper active members of the board. If you don't want civil discussion....don't open the thread.

Today was a complete failure on so many fronts and I'm sure there will be many threads dedicated to those. However, is it fair to wonder if that shoulder injury is something more than what they let on? He had SEVERAL throws that were off. Just didn't seem to have the accurate ball placement he had early on. Even completions were off target a few times. Then on the last play of the game our huge armed QB just.....doesn't....uncork one? That seems really off to me. I'm positive he'll say the shoulder is all good and didn't play into it at all....but the eye test really says otherwise.
