  1. I don't see the Carolina pass as a drop. It would have been a highlight catch. Same with the long pass last week.
  2. Early with Watkins, Goodwin, and briefly Harvin, the deep ball was a Tyrod strength. Maybe Dennison is starting to see that and letting him do it a bit more.
  3. Roscoe Parrish just needs more touches!
  4. Your post reflects the belief that you can plug and play to make a team. Like its some kind of video game. That is not what Beane and McD are building.
  5. Experts often called for Frank Reich to start. Was always a fun WGR night in the 90s after Kelly had a bad game.
  6. Ill put my money with the NFLs GMs and coaches to evaluate a guy who is on the PS, unsigned by any NFL Team, over the TBD front office.
  7. ESPN has them at 15, which is probably fair. 2 and 3 are just people joking around. When Tolbert and Zay Jones are an injury away from your top skill position starters, you cant crack the top 10.
  8. Still missing Shaq and Glenn too. Injuries matter for this game.
  9. So is it a conspiracy that two different teams want to screw up their offenses and not target an elite receiver? What's the end game on that line of thinking?
  10. He's on the PS for a reason. I wouldn't count on much from him.
  11. The better receivers get more targets. This is always the Sammy line. "He opens things up for the rest of the team and that's why his numbers were bad." Except good WRs like Jones, Brown, ODB are productive regardless of the defense focusing on stopping them. I liked Sammy. I miss him in a Bills uniform, especially given the WRs they currently have. But he's not elite. He's good.
  12. Cincy will be tough. Aggressive defense and can be good on offense. Also unlike Atlanta, they have a home field advantage. And the Bills injuries are really piling up.
  13. Boldin looked terrible. I don't think he was the answer to any question the Bills were asking. And given the culture of "team" that Beane/McDermott are building, I suspect the door is closed to his return. WR is not used much in the Bills offense but they still need a target WR for TT.
  14. Thrilled about the win. Injury watch has begun: - Shaq. They missed him yesterday in the run protection. Hope he's back soon but doesn't rush. - Matthews. He's the best WR on the team and it will hurt to have him out for the next month+. - Gaines. He plays a speed and agility position, so groin is a tough injury. I hope he gets 3 weeks rest and comes back after the bye 100%. - Humber. He's played well. I haven't heard what his prognosis is. - Shady. He's not hurt but he leaves the game a lot and every time he does, we get Tolbert. That's a problem. Tolbert will have a few fun runs this season but the Bills need a true backup. Beane should have that person ready for week 6. Plenty of guys out there who can do the job adequately.
  15. And Goodwin is out with head and eye injury.
  16. Why would they? Kelly and Hughes have already talked and respect each other's opinions. I'm sure Kelly and Thomas can too.
  17. Mods can you merge this and the Orton/Wall thread?
  18. They already worked it out. Kelly apologized. Hughes likes Jim. The end.
  19. Ill be at that game with my daughter too. I dont anticipate doing anything different than I always do. Ill stand for the anthem, respect the people around me, and hopefully cheer on the Bills in a meaningful (?) game.
  20. Science disagrees with you. Though I'm sure your eyes, like most of us with lighter colored ones, look different in different light, with different clothes.
  21. Agreed. They are two guys voicing their different opinions. Big deal. The two people who agree on everything are...umm... I like that they both stuck up for something and will still be part of the same community. Go Bills.
  22. Unless you have Heterochromia, are in puberty, the first year of life, or are going through accelerated aging (60 years in the course of a day), your eyes don't change color.
  23. I like that Hughes said, "Come talk to us" to Kelly. He's right. These issues have a way of resolving when you talk to individuals and share experiences directly instead of attacking people/groups from a distance.
  24. My comma was not clear. They are the best team in the NFL, AND they are in their own building.
  25. Trying to keep expectations real here. Atlanta is the best team in the NFL, in their own building. Going to be a tough game. I just want to see them continue to play a solid disciplined game. I doubt they can close the talent gap in this one. The only way to win this is to force Ryan to throw some picks, which can happen, and dominate the running game.
