Pele and Beckenbauer played in the US a hundred years ago. Beckham had a decent MLS career. Zlatan will be good if he has anything left in the tank. He's been one of the best players in the world for a long time. I'm guessing he will be fantastic in short spurts. Nothing more--but he'll be fun to watch. That's just who he is.

He is a very long shot. All the GMs passed on drafting him and no one was eager to sign him. They might all be wrong. I hope they are. But any optimism is in our hearts, not our heads. If he’s the answer, it will defy all odds. Probability is he’s some guy who won’t work out and I have to hope Beane is working on a better solution.

No. You underestimate what TT was. I want a new QB too but things can definitely get worse. McCarron is a total unknown. But a 5th round pick who couldn't move up the depth chart doesn't give me a lot of hope. I will be thrilled to be wrong. Peterman is, well, we saw him. And I am not convinced the Bills should reach on someone at 12 or trade 6 potential starters for a shot at one guy. So I agree with the OP: The Bills QB situation is pretty bad. If they trade for Foles, it gets a lot better. Suddenly you have a legit starter and didn't give away the bank for him.

I have Comcast Internet. I use Hulu to watch live sports or other Hulu content. Got the Hulu plus HBO so I watch any HBO content that’s ever been made. Netflix. Amazon Prime. I can’t get directv because of trees so They sell me the Sunday Ticket for streaming all the games. I access all those via Apple TV. I have an antenna in case the Internet goes down. Hasn’t happened but it could. No hard phone or cable TV. Have not missed it for a heartbeat.

Offensive lines change RBs, not vice versa. A good RB can always be found later. That doesn't mean teams a tthe top of the draft should pass up Barkley. He is a stud. But the Bills have a lot of needs and backup RB (And even good starting RBs) can be found in rounds 3 and 4. .
