  1. Edmunds was one of the better players on a defense that played like dogcrap. A dubious honor to be sure but he was not the problem. While the game was still in reach, the real issue was 0.0 pass rush. After it got to 26, they quit, which was a team issue.
  2. Gaines and KB were competing for the mantle of second worst. The runaway favorite for #1 is clear. My issue with KB was not the TD, which he should have caught but it was a high velocity throw and not a basic catch, but more the lack of effort on even the bad passes. He just seems to expect the balls to land in his hands. Now, Peterman was not throwing catchable balls as he seemingly has no idea how to float a ball to a 6-5 WR, but KB still put up zero effort. I expect more from him but if this is how he plays in a contract year, good riddance. Gaines, I have low expectations of.
  3. Two busts evaluated from one game played? You must be the greatest talent scout of all time.
  4. Anderson and Cutler are my votes. Of course neither one is that good but they are there for the taking and can at least play the position until Allen is ready. Allen looks good but he needs someone to steady things. I don't care about Kaep and the politics--he's just a spaz QB and that's not what Allen needs around him.
  5. Just because Tyrod is better than Peterman doesn't make him a good qb.
  6. 50 million in dead cap space. 2 pro bowl OL leave in surprises. The #7 pick has to sit and develop (which I'm OK with). This was ALWAYS going to be a tough year. This is Buffalo. Weather all the snowflakes people.
  7. Seeing as how this is a thread about Tryod Taylor, and not the Bills, his point is that Tyrod is not that good. That game was a defensive total meltdown.
  8. I have no read on how Mayfield is doing but Tyrod, who is supposed to be surrounded with better talent than he had here, looked actually worse today than he looked in Buffalo. The INT he threw was very un-Tyrod-like. But he screwed the pooch on clock management. Just like here. He was inaccurate. Just like here. He waited forever to throw. Just like here. He had 10 second scrambled for one yard. Just like here. He threw 26 2 yard passes. Just like here. If I was a Browns fan, I might give him another game or two, but then I'd call for Mayfield.
  9. I watched most of the 3rd and fourth quarters of that game. I was pulling for the Browns in the hugest way. And man oh man, Tryod was totally Tyrod-y. They will be calling for Mayfield in another couple games. It was brutal. Not Nate Peterman brutal, but still pretty brutal, like Tyrod vs. Jacksonville brutal. Watching those 3 yard passes on 3rd and 9 sent me into PTSD. Tyrod >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>NP With TT, this is probably a 33-13 game.
  10. I agree. bravo. This is how you build a good team that had a ton of crap players and crap contracts. They had to swallow a bad year and this is the one.
  11. The process includes paying 47 million dollars to guys who are not here and that we’re not getting it done, so they get a good draft pick and start next year with 60 million to spend in free agency. This season was always going to be brutal. If you expected something else, I applaud your optimism.
  12. Hilarious and perfect.
  13. Rosen is on the bench, where he belongs. Allen is the better QB. OF that there's no doubt. But he should sit until he's a little more ready. He made some awful looking plays today.
  14. I can't hate Daboll. Peterman would have made Bill Walsh look bad. Allen looks exciting but he's not ready. They are in deep deep trouble at QB. I had hoped Peterman would be less sucky for the first 6-7 weeks.
  15. All of this. Allen looks good in bursts but he's not ready and it's not worth ruining him. Also agree that the D had moments, especially in run D before they had their 8th straight 3 minute break. The O-line didn't lose that game. The QB talent did the most to lose it.
  16. Peterman at least completed passes vs Chargers.
  17. In our system, to not do what the president wants is not traitorous. It’s just not doing your job and he/she should be fired. This isn’t a dictatorship and the author broke no laws. Terrible choice. Cowardly. All those things. But not traitorous. No hangings are happening here. I chose “misfire” for Huntsman specifically because I saw him as a guy with presidential potential. If he’s the author, this would end that aspiration.
  18. Pretty compelling case. I gave it less than a week till the name came out. Now it might be out by the Sunday talk shows. Good to root him out. He could have done so much more good if he did this after he resigned or just in a sign of open rebellion. If it is Huntsman, what a terrible misfire.
  19. I only got 20 choices. That's "someone else" which is the smart category if you're plunking down $$. If it's a relative no-name, the NYT will look worse than it does now. It needs to be one of the big names for them to hold even a shred of dignity.
  20. Cowardly to write, cowardly to publish. But when it comes out, and it will, who is the author?
  21. The actions of meth heads is perhaps not the rock solid support for your slippery slope to world moral decay argument. Every record of written discourse has examples of “the world is going to Hell in a handbasket because back in my day....” Rome must have been as ideal as the Garden of Eden.
  22. This, always and forever. You can ALWAYS get a serviceable running back. Anyone can run behind a good OL, and I believe that's where a lot of next year's cap space will go.
  23. Prefer Johnny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trgKeCFmi3M
  24. If they want a third QB, can we please go the veteran route to tutor the young guys? Update. Just looked at the FA list. The only guy with NFL starting experience is smokin' Jay Cutler.
