My uncle is usually pushing gold. It's always about to "pop" because [meltdown scenario of the day--he leans towards the military industrial complex...a little out of date but he's older...the younger kids are all about the Q]. He was riding high in 2008. I am sad that he hasn't had that moment since then. But he'll be right again one of these years.

This from the guy who says that because Luck is not the next Wayne Gretzky, [sorry, I just keep laughing that that's the premise of whatever comes next to justify how "right" you are]. Please keep posting. It's really good stuff.

Or it could be that “shithole countries” have less stability and are more prone to overthrow. And central banking is a block of a stronger country. No boogeyman could ever be as effective as you imagine this cabal to be. We don’t organize that well. We don’t keep secrets that well either. Conspiracy board that this is, these things get taken seriously on PPP. There is an overepresented group here that is the crazed uncle at Thanksgiving who will never stop talking about he has it all figured out on his conspiracy or latest investment and finally wears you down to an exhausted “fine” so you can eat your pumpkin pie in peace. I just wish there was one thread to control the conspiracy contagion. But it leaks into every topic. I can’t take a dump without Q reading it for signs of a Rothchild connection to pizzagate.

Frank Reich retired only 4 games after his rookie season finished? Good to know. And Nate Peterman will always be a rookie. Forever young.

Stick with the Gretzky comparisons. That line of thinking was really starting to go somewhere special.

The Post story I read made the timing crystal clear. There are quotes from some WH official about how different this was from Clinton (servers, 110 classified emails, use while SecState, etc). The reader was left to decide whether it was similar to Clinton’s debacle. There is a titillating lead but after that, the gotcha moment wears off and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to draw their own conclusions. It is news-ish but not that much of a story and not that exciting.

Is there any thread here without the leakage of this nonsense? Devil baby clothing designed by Israelis (yes that truly is the worst child clothing ever--straight from a dystopian nightmare). Gloria Vanderbilt and the occult. Secret all-controlling cabal overlords. With Trump as the white knight. If only the world was so simple and intruiging that it boiled down to a miniseries script like this.

Teenage girl pack mentality.. (Queue up the sensitive guys who were upset about my white guys playing video games remark this week. Yes boys, the above is a sexist and ageist remark.)

Russia changing vote tallies is a better script than Russia ran an influence campaign and people like a good story more than a dull one.

The people marching to the boarder ???
BeginnersMind replied to mead107's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Do you think Congress did it’s job? I don’t. I blame both parties. Both. The Ds refuse to be reasonable. The Rs are divided. Compromise is a curse word. So Trump tried to overstep in order to get something done and a court rapped his knuckles. Congress doesn’t get it: There is only us. Not them. -

If only one party had controlled Congress and the executive for two years. No. We need Congress to do its job. -
14:57 14:58 14:59 It's over! Buh-bye. You're comparing apples to tea kettles. Vontae sucked and then went full asshat and quit mid-game. Now this. Peterman by every measure and report worked his ass off and it turns out he wasn't good enough. He was a total class act and did nothing bad as a person. Attended every post-game interview. Talked to the media. Kept working and trying. His last start showed (again) that he wasn't good enough, but it was his best outing in a very non-threatening offensive scheme. His problem is that he was about what you might expect from a 5th round QB: Not good.

This is the the truest thing ever said in this board. It is a really strange discussion. Because Luck is not better than Gretzky but he is better than some great QBs, Former is right and happy to rub your face in it. Umm. OK. This is an instant classic thread though. They should get this into prime time on ESPN next week.

Trump foreign policy
BeginnersMind replied to Benjamin Franklin's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
“Trump” delivers big? He got a quarter of what “Obama” got. Big hands > small hands. -
I said the board was mostly white and right-leaning. Someone said something like that the board was white and common sense. I noted that we both agreed the board was mostly white and praised our ability to find common ground in spite of our disagreement over the difference of "right-leaning" vs "common sense." Isn't this a spectacular discussion? Are you one of those who are eager to find the source of the people who fund my posts here? Even my overlords are bored by this. But I am getting rich by it.

I poked fun at the mostly white guys that post here playing the popular cowboy video game on a Friday night. The board melted down because my remark was so pejorative and painful. If you want to ascribe that I hate white folks like some people here want to, please lay out your evidence. Unless you think the video game jibe was hate speech. If you do, we won't make much progress.

Trump: "I want great climate." Another thing he will fix. Thank god.
-
It doesn’t. Someone asked and I said that I didn’t know the racial political etc makeup of NFL fans but felt safe guessing that it was mostly men.
-
He wouldn’t want Saquan Barkley either.

Did you study at the University of SaviorPeterman?

Trump talking out of his ass again, story at 11.
