  1. Yep I haven't updated the cap page yet.....that will come this weekend
  2. Ok......when I posted yesterday about the salary cap, I was not aware of yet another salary escalator. Who, you ask? COY WIRE His salary for 2005 is now $1.43 million (up from $455,000) Curious number.....why? Well, his salary escalator must have been pegged to the 1st rd RFA tender which is $1.43 million Where does that leave us? I now have the Bills about $5.2 million under the "unadjusted" salary cap of $85.5 million. Now! This may explain the inactivity
  3. 2006? We can worry about that after the 2005 season Late for lunch
  4. Read my cap analysis article.......it will answer your question
  5. Yes, we can if the Bills choose to.......the Bills can create millions in cap space.
  6. No way Mike Williams can walk with the expected loss of Jennings. Mike Williams is paid like a top draft choice.....as long as he continues to develop, the Bills will get their ROI (return on investment)
  7. In my sig, there is a link to my cap analysis article......many of my thoughts are there It's a rather long article
  8. Now that the tenders have been made, I have the Bills $6,256,495 under an "unadjusted" salary cap of $85.5 million
  9. If they are close.......then they were tampering and TD needs to file a complaint.
  10. Now y'all know why TD is letting Jennings go......it would take a $12+ million signing bonus.....way too much for an above average OT
  11. 2 yrs remaining 2005 $950,000 2006 $6,600,000 No doubt that Denver will use 2005 to evaluate him before considering an extension
  12. LB Matt Stewart or WR Alex Bannister
  13. Of those players, Clements becomes FA after 2005. All the others are signed thru 2006
  14. Yes, it's around the $8 million mark. Those earlier projections did not take into account salary escalators for both Mike Williams and Nate Clements
  15. Simply strength of schedule
  16. My numbers would be broken down like this: 4 yrs-$16 million with $5 million sb plus $1 million roster bonus Give him the chance to also earn another $2 million from incentives 2005: $2 million salary, $1.25 million proration 2006: $2 million salary, $1.25 million proration, $1 million roster bonus 2007: $3 million salary, $1.25 million proration 2008: $3 million salary, $1.25 million proration This deal puts $10 million in his pocket the 1st 2 yrs
  17. 4 yrs-$16 million with $6 million guaranteed money Give him $10 million of that in the first 2 yrs. Sounds fair too me
  18. UB needs to win out But NIT is likely if they do not make the NCAA tourney......that's some accomplishment considering where this program was a few yrs ago.
  19. Maybe they would consider dealing him? Give'em a call TD!!
