  1. No....a young QB needs veterans like Moulds at WR If truly interested, the Bills could send send the higher 3rd in 06 and maybe a cond 07. Maybe throw in Josh Reed I do not really believe the Bills are interested.
  2. That's makes him even more overpaid
  3. Cap page is updated
  4. I've submitted an update to the powers to be at BZ but do not know when Dozerdog will be able to get to it You can read a synopsis HERE
  5. He's subject to waivers, thus the Bills would have to assume his remaining contract. I would pass on it and let him clear waivers but i suspect he won't. Some team will grab him
  6. Does that mean Adelphia will carry it in Buffalo area?
  7. Let me win the lottery and it can happen
  8. Bills will be able to create cap space for the franchise tender which will likely be in the $7.5 million range (+/- $500,000). Remember, BOTH Moulds and M. Williams have 2006 cap numbers over $10 million. A lot of cap space can be found there
  9. Basically, it's a provision to limit teams from giving HUGE signing bonuses with early yr minimum salaries. It was first seen with Deion Sanders. The adjustment on the cap is called the "Deion" charge. If the salaries & roster bonuses are greater than the amortized signing bonus in capped years, then their is no "deion" charge. If it's less, then the difference is applied to the capped yrs as a debit but the team then gets a credit later starting in the uncapped yr. I know clear as mud. I'll post Mike Williams' calculations if time at work permits
  10. After draft choices sign, Bills will have about $2 million available. However, more can be created depending on who gets traded, released, cut, and/or waived before the final roster is set. Players that could be let go and save some minimal cap space are: WR Reed, OL L. Smith, RB Burns, etc. I do not foresee any big names cut for cap purposes. I think the Bills extend one. However, since Clements' salary is $2.5 million, he could sign an extension that lowers his 2005 salary to the vet min. for his yrs of service ($540,000) and that $1.96 million be applied to his bonus amortization. This would allow the Bills to possibly extend McGee as well. If Bills do not re-sign Clements before FA period starts nexgt March, he will likely be franchised. I suspect he will be here through 2006 at least
  11. I recently updated my cap page. For those interested, you can use the link in my sig My Miami cap page will be updated this week
  12. Bills presently have less than $1 million available on the cap per my numbers I will post soon. They will need to do a little cap management (i.e. trade Henry) in order to sign the draft picks. If the Bills were to create cap space to sign Verba, I would prefer using it to re-sign Nate Clements
  13. No, they do not. It's not impossible, but it's much more likely that a team with a large rookie pool, like Miami, would be able to structure rookie deals to leave enough for a supplemental draft choice. Wright is likely to be no higher than a "2nd rd pick", thus, he will be slotted in the 2nd rd
  14. Wish he could have played at UB
  15. Yes, it has happened before......Willis McGahee I fully expect that Everett will be asked to sign a 4 yr deal with a salary escalator in the 4th yr. He could have a smaller upfront bonus and get a guaranteed option bonus in 2006. Many options exist to protect the Bills and adequately compensate him. If they could keep his 2005 cap hit really low, the Bills could consider going after DT Wright in the Supplemental draft on 7/14. Teams must use their 2005 rookie pool to sign any players added via the Supplemental draft.
  16. Miami gave up a 3rd for Gordon. This is part of the reason TD is absolutely correct in waiting for the right price. I would ask Tennessee to change it to a cond pick with it being a guaranteed 4th but go as high as a 2nd based on Henry's production
  17. NFl has a loan program for teams. It's called "G-3 funding". Basically, I believe a team borrows future TV money from the NFL for the purpose of building a stadium.
  18. As an Economics major, there are too many variables to consider. Especially in a global economy. This is why each economist will have a different outlook or answer.
  19. I work at Kaleida Health Go to your primary care physician. He/She will send you for an x-ray and base treatment on the physical examination and radiological results. You go to the ER, they will do the same thing, it will take longer, and will cost more
  20. I served in the 1st Persian Gulf War (the real one) with a former Jill
  21. Henry & Reed for Calico I like it
  22. Hmmmm.....I like the deal. But I doubt the Titans would trade one of their few remaining experienced WRs.
