  1. Some great comments in this thread. Let me just agree that Tyrod is a class guy, and and that his presence in the AFC East doesn't leave me shaking in my boots.
  2. Oddly enough one of the criticisms in scouting reports on Crosby is that he lacks quickness. I suspect he may be a late developer. If that is the case, he may end up as a better pro than college player.
  3. Essentially that means One Bills Live had it right, and those who ridiculed their take on it are looking kind of silly.
  4. For me, Magnum, if I'm picking a WR in round 2, it's probably Parris Campbell. If I'm picking in round 3, I'm not sure yet, but it could be Miles Boykin.
  5. From the perspective of the fan, who matters a whole lot more than how. I'm inclined to shrug my shoulders at "creative."
  6. I'm going to start beating the drum for Chris Conley. He's got nice size and speed. He played well for KC but got lost in the shuffle behind Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins.
  7. Daryl Williams, Chris Conley and Mitch Morse in free agency Ed Oliver, Chris Lindstrom, Justice Hill, Foster Moreau, Greg Dortch in the draft
  8. He'll join a coach he knows in Brian Flores http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001021638/article/dwayne-allen-joining-dolphins-on-twoyear-7m-deal Sorry, I dod not realize another thread was updated to include this info. Mods can go ahead and merge.
  9. I don't think the draft will go this way regardless of what happens in free agency. I would not be thrilled if it did. I do agree free agency should give us a few more clues.
  10. Though I don't have a man crush on any particular player, I will be OK with any one of the following players: Jawaan Taylor Ed Oliver (OK at this point -combine answered a few questions I have - I want to see his pro day results) DK Metcalf Quinnen Williams (I don't expect he'll drop that far) Rashan Gary (I have some concerns that he's something of a tweener - but I think a creative coach can use him) Josh Allen (won't be available) Nick Bosa (won't be available) Montez Sweat Brian Burns Andre Dillard The last three are kind of on the fringe for me. I think they may be a bit of a reach, but have nice upside, so I'd hope for the best.
  11. Between the two, he would be my preference.
  12. I've know several persons who died from it. persons with diabetes have to be particularly wary. It's the same organ, and sometimes early symptoms are impossible to distinguish from issues connected with diabetes. That's what happened to my next door neighbor. From diagnosis to death was about 6 weeks.
  13. For any player who has manifested diva like traits, I would guess it's pretty common. I would also guess that a conditional clause is also pretty common for players who have had certain kinds of injuries/health issues, that they have to be able to pass the new team's physical.
  14. I'd want to be sure of his health. He missed 10 games last season. He's 31. Some guards can play into their mid 30s or so, but some have trouble keeping their bodies in one piece.
  15. He turns 34 during the season and wants a pay raise. Hopefully NE gives it to him and then he hits the wall for his career. Not saying he will. He was productive last year. He might though.
  16. Sills was a high school QB, and really good at it. A hand injury derailed his goal of playing QB in the NFL, and WR was his fallback option. He understands offenses from the perspective of a QB. That can be a good thing. I'm not locked in to Harry or Sills though. I think there are a bunch of receivers in this draft that have special qualities and the potential to develop. I just heard Greg Cosell say he likes Hakeem Butler and Miles Boykin based on his film study. Cosell has pretty good credentials for expressing opinions on players.
  17. Based on past performance, Rotoworld is right. If AB nixed the deal, that's probably what he sees too. I'm pretty optimistic about the trend moving forward, but trends are not set in stone.
  18. He's in the conversation. I'd rather wait to evaluate. A little less than 2 years and one draft is not enough time to make that determination.
  19. Age and injury issues push him down the list. If Buffalo can't swing a deal for a better guy (Trent Brown, Jawuan James, Daryl Williams) then the Bills can keep him in mind.
  20. I think he plays 3 tech. His play tailed off some this past season, but there may be some reasons for that. If the price is right, he fills a hole, and there is a chance he could be really good.
  21. Sorry, I specifically avoid getting a man crush on any given prospect. I figure that is setting oneself up for disappointment. I can be intrigued by a player, usually multiple players, but I figure it's no smart to go into the draft wearing blinders. I am pretty sure any good GM feels the same way.
  22. Well, that was an exciting few hours. Before Ian Rappaport's folly, it didn't make sens to me to acquire a player who said football wasn't necessary to him. It just didn't seem like a "process" move.
  23. There are some who think he might not be that much of a reach at #9. Personally, I don't think the Bills are going to end up drafting an offensive lineman at #9. This thread and the uncertainty it illustrates is a a big reason why.
