  1. I only go to occasional games. One per year is probably my max. I have to watch my finances closely. As I get older, my health may not even permit that. Not going to games will not impact my fanhood.
  2. If the team makes the playoffs, there should be at least an All Pro or two. It they don't, it's easy for people to overlook All Pro caliber performance.
  3. The Brian Flores culture = dumpster fire.
  4. In practice, Jerry Hughes' primary matchup would be Dawkins. Mills would have drawn Lawson/Murphy last season.
  5. My wife and I are taking a vacation to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I'll probably be in Cape Breton when the home opener happens. I'm not even sure I'll have internet. Radio coverage? forget it.
  6. Clowney is usually regarded as a better run defender than edge rusher. He sets the edge very well.
  7. I think one is probably the most likely #. 2 at most.
  8. I haven't followed fan reaction myself, but I can imagine that a bunch dumped on Cole Beasley for the drive killing drop he had in the Detroit game.
  9. He has a point, but he should also know that all sports fans are flawed human beings. To be human is to be flawed, and sports fans don't get a pass. It usually doesn't help to dump on a whole group of people for the actions of a few. Just challenge us to be better, like coaches do to players all the time.
  10. Frank Reich has a solid foundation to be the coach of the Colts.
  11. I doubt it would fit given that Antonio Brown's head is so swelled.
  12. Pssst. Don't tell Belichick that his starting center is in the hospital. Maybe he won't notice until the Patriots opener..
  13. Among Alabama and Bills fans, Levi Wallace is well known. Among other college and pro football fans, not so much.
  14. Step away from that talcum powder. Research shows it can damage your lungs.
  15. The Johnson boys, Darryl and Jaquan. Darryl is ranked 13 out of 25 and Jaquan ranks second.
  16. I'll defer to others who have more medical knowledge on the subject than I do, but obviously this is pretty serious. I hope he responds to treatment and can live a normal life. However, I have no sympathy for New England. It's foolish to think they would trade for Bodine. They'll just wait for cutdown day, if they actually would want him.
  17. I disagree. Cole Ford has been such a ghost that I didn't know he was even on the roster. On the other hand Cody Ford, has drawn some attention for his physical blocking style.
  18. I heard his name called a time or two in the Detroit game. When you're an offensive lineman and your name is called, it's not usually a good thing.
  19. Oliver is a talented rookie. That means he flashes sometimes, but he also struggles. He has a limited repertoire of moves because he didn't need as much in college, but being undersized in the NFL, he needs more than just quickness. He needs to be able to do enough different things to keep smart, strong and athletic offensive guards. He'll be fine, but he's got some growing to do.
  20. At least one of Buffalo's cuts at RB will end up on another team's roster by October.
  21. I think Bates graded out pretty well at left tackle in the game after grading out well at center in the Panthers game. If he can play center and tackle, it's hard to imagine that he could not play guard too.. That kind of versatility could make him very hard to cut.
  22. Both Knox and Sweeney are decent blockers. I know the Bills gave Lee Smith a chunk of money in his signing bonus, but he's kind of extraneous right now.
  23. His old man is the XFL commissioner. There could be a spot in the administration of that league just waiting for him if he wants to go that route.
  24. That is huge! Brissett isn't a bad backup, but there's no comparison between Brissett and Luck when Luck is at his best. Frank Reich was just handed a huge coaching challenge.
  25. Can Matt Barkley lead the Bills to a 49 - 0 halftime score?
