  1. Google is your friend: "seasoned" It could be a lot of different flavorings I suppose. If Frito Lay doesn't already make Buffalo sauce flavored potato chips, that would be my guess.
  2. Oops. Then again, he just might be. LOL
  3. Agreed. The biggest problem might be Adam Gase, but he's not going anywhere right away. Eli no longer has "it." His arm is no longer what it once was and without a better supporting cast, he just can't do it anymore. I think Daniel Jones might be an upgrade at this point, but he'll need a better supporting cast too. Good defenses might be gashed some by Saquon Barkley, but if there aren't enough other facets to the Giants' attack, those good defenses will adjust as Buffalo's did, and take Barkley out of the equation.
  4. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27624757/week-3-nfl-power-rankings-1-32-poll-plus-most-pleasant-surprise-team https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2853714-nfl-power-rankings-brs-consensus-rank-for-every-team-entering-week-3#slide0 https://www.milehighreport.com/2019/9/17/20866503/nfl-power-rankings-week-3
  5. Among national media outlets, ESPN almost always has Buffalo ranked lower than anybody else. Right now, they have Buffalo at #15. This time, they're the same as Bleacher Report. Among regional media outlets, the Mile High Report has Buffalo at #24 - two spots higher than the 0 - 2 Denver Broncos. Surprise, surprise.
  6. John Ross can be a dangerous receiver when you don't have any burners at CB. I like Tre White, Levi Wallace and company, but Buffalo's CBs only have average speed. They have a very effective zone, but if there is any lapse, speed can burn them big time. I think Cincinnati has a new coaching staff in place with a new offensive scheme. The only thing Kroft might have insight on might be Dalton's personal tendencies, and he's been in the league long enough that most of those are pretty well known.
  7. Yup, and there is a chance for showers in Buffalo some time over the next month. I think there could be a cool rivalry in the AFC over the next decade, but I'm glad Mahomes isn't in the AFC East
  8. So have a lot of teams over nearly two decades of mediocrity. Anything is possible, but I think McDermott has this team in a very good frame of mind - confident but very hungry.
  9. Maybe some of those players will decide to jump ship as free agents and join a franchise that they can see has it all together, like the Bills.
  10. I do think that the defensive ranking against the run will start to look better now that we're past the two best running backs in the league.
  11. Seems like a process kind of guy. LOL
  12. You've got to respect Dalton's ability as a passer, but their running game isn't helping them at all. If Buffalo can make them one dimensional, they should be able to contain Dalton's passing. Meanwhile, I see Buffalo's offense continuing to improve. Singletary may be the biggest question. If he can't go, I don't see Buffalo going into that game with only Gore and Yelden.
  13. Buffalo would have to split with the Patriots at least. Not mathematically, but realistically, they've gotta take the king down if they want to be king.
  14. Power rankings are still an extremely subjective undertaking. I saw one today that has the Bills as the 9th best in the league. Last week they were in the 20s. That's going to continue to jump around week to week.
  15. That's difficult to do. What I think is that the Ravens did a brilliant job of matching a QB's skill set to an offensive coordinator. Lamar Jackson is the perfect QB for Greg Roman's offensive system and vice versa. If it wasn't a strategic decision, John Harbaugh might just be the luckiest head coach in the league. I don't think Cleveland''s loss to open the season is any kind of indication that Baker Mayfield isn't going to be really good. I am also becoming more and more convinced that Josh Allen has what it takes to be a really good starting NFL QB. Mason Rudolph and Josh Rosen get incompletes at this point in time. Josh Rosen is as unlucky as Lamar Jackson is lucky. Jackson landed with a solid team and is now with the perfect OC for his skill set while Josh Rosen went from one train wreck to another.. That's not his fault. Mason Rudolph went to a good situation in Pittsburgh, with time to sit and learn behind one of the great QBs in the league. Now he's got 14 games to prove he can play and start in the league.
  16. I think Brees' injury is less serious than Rothlisberger's elbow. Rothlisberger may well be done. I think Brees makes it back by midseason. Between the two backups, I like Mason Rudolph a little more than Bridgewater, but Bridgewater will be OK too.
  17. I can't argue against that.
  18. My thought at well. If Mason Rudolph performs well, I could see the Steelers wanting to move on from the drama that always seems to surround Rothlisberger. Rudolph is potentially a good QB and far more of a team guy than Rothlisberger.
  19. Actually, I thought it was ludicrous. I really did not think it was THAT blind. I thought the Giants player had a reasonable chance to see that it was about to happen.
  20. I know that after dealing with LeVeon Bell and Saquon Barkley, I'm not at all worried about Joe Mixon.
  21. The NFL says, "No, you can't have that."
  22. Given that the Patriots are #4 on the schedule, if Buffalo beats them, we can start thinking division championship, but let's concern ourselves with Cincinnati first.
  23. So, should they thank the Colts for putting their fire out?
