  1. Yes, it was pass interference, but the failure of the league to overturn bad calls and no-calls on the pass interference issue all season long calls the integrity of the league into question. Why this one, and not the dozens of other bad calls that were left to stand. Fortunately, the Saints won this game anyway. I'm not particularly a Sean Payton fan, but he's been screwed over a lot on officiating.
  2. I think they should put the Bills all in goaltender masks and then put "Jason" on the backs of all their jerseys.
  3. I don't mind that the OP has that viewpoint. I think that what makes the Baltimore offense so tough to defend against is one of the strengths of Buffalo's offense - the ability of the QB to run the ball. The offenses are very different though. Jackson is in essence another running back in the backfield, and defenses have to focus so intently on trying to stop two potential runners on every play that they sacrifice their ability to defend the pass well. While Jackson is not nearly the passer that he is a runner, the defense, having been manipulated in overplaying the run, gives up a lot of easy pass plays. McDermott and Frazier are pretty bright defensive minds. With ten days to prepare, they may be able to throw Jackson a few curve balls along the way. Somewhere, somehow, somebody is going to figure out how to confound Baltimore's offensive attack. However, I don't have any thought that this will be an easy game.
  4. I don't mind that Buscaglia is putting a player under the microscope. It is probably true that many teams choose to give offensive linemen some help when blocking Von Miller. It's also true that Ford has room for improvement, but I don't think every successful offensive lineman came through their rookie season as a finished product. Just because Buscaglia is pointing out Ford's growing edge doesn't mean he thinks Ford is a bust.
  5. League to Dallas. We're sorry you were screwed out of a win, but screw you anyway.
  6. OK. He sure is loud though.
  7. So Vontae thought about the Bills' reputation as an organization during the first half, and that was the tipping point that led to his bailing at halftime? OK. Is he selling any real estate in the middle of the Okefenokee too?
  8. Robert Foster is a limited participant in practice this week. That suggests to me that his hammy is a mild pull at worst, and the Bills think he could play in another week or so. It'll take Doctson at least that long to get sufficiently up to speed to have more than a very limited role on the offense.
  9. A big reason why Josh Allen did not have more yards passing was the Bills' strategic decision to run the ball. Since they were successful doing so, there was no reason to switch and start passing the ball
  10. Who is this yahoo?
  11. The question is, will it be a tough game for Dallas? Hopefully the answer is yes.
  12. With any Thursday game, both teams normally have to deal with the short week, so it's really not a disadvantage. The post Thursday "mini-bye" is a very real advantage though.
  13. Rotoworld has now fixed it, substituting in Isaiah McKenzie for Zay Jones. I do think Duke Williams will be activated and get some reps though.
  14. Jauron had victories? Who knew?
  15. I'm more inclined to add a CB via the draft.
  16. I guess he's always been a trash talker. So is McGovern. They have a bit of a history, and McGovern allegedly started it before the game. Trash talking certainly is not my style, but I don't think it's a big deal. I don't expect it will affect Lawson's future status with the team or his relationship with McDermott unless it escalates a lot more than it has.
  17. I have to agree. There was no question it was the hamstring the way he grabbed it. Even with a minor tweak, they probably wouldn't try to play him 4 days later. Add to that the fact that he's not been a major piece of the offense this season, and he'd just not going to play this week. The only question is not will he miss a game, but how many games will he miss?
  18. Consistency often comes with time and experience. Josh Allen is far more consistent now than he was a year ago, and he'll be more consistent next year. Ford is going to grow too.
  19. Feliciano shifted from guard to center, and Long to Feliciano's guard spot.
  20. If the Bills can agree on a fair price, both these guys should be retained. Oliver is not a finished product, but he has a very high ceiling. He might have 2 or 3 more sacks this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a dozen or more next season. And yes, he's good versus the run too.
  21. Our family is more "up in the air" with respect to Thanksgiving than we have ever been. My daughter gave birth to her first yesterday. My mother-in-law went in the hospital yesterday. We don't have much room to host and we don't know yet who will come. The only thing we do know is dinner would happen at 1 or 2 PM, if it happens and the TV will be on when the Bills are playing.
  22. Nsekhe is on a two year deal. If he's healthy, I'm assuming he'll be back next season and will continue to share RT duties with Ford. Buffalo will be fine at RT. Buffalo will draft an offensive lineman, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is a guy who has played both tackle and guard in college, with the notion of fitting him wherever he's needed.
  23. Their second field goal would have been a touchdown sans a holding penalty on Feliciano.
  24. I'm thinking War and Peace.. Daboll obviously decided the Broncos were vulnerable on the ground. Strategy probably cost Josh 50 - 100 yards. That's perfectly all right. Singletary got his first 100 yard game and Gore climbed a rung on the all time leading yardage ladder.
  25. Well, a loss to Denver would not mathematically eliminate Buffalo at all, but Denver together with the final game against the Jets look like they are far and away the most winnable 2 games left on the schedule. You have to take care of the teams you're supposed to beat.
